This is the only Chinese buffet in Lexington currently. Its not great Chinese food by any means, but its cheap and it is a buffet. So if you are really hungry and want some so-so Chinese food while saving a few bucks, then its not that bad.

China Ming Buffet is a ok Cantonese/Mandarin resturant. The location it self is not that appealing being a slowly failing plaza and the inside could be fixed up and have a good cleaning. Also always check there rating they seem to yo-yo from low to high all the time and it seems its mostly temps on the buffet because they could all be a little hotter. Now to why come here. First lunch is there best value and its worth it. The lunch specials run around 3.99 for off the lunch menu and you get a nice serving size of food, fried rise and your main. Their cheese wontons are good when fresh and so are there teriyaki sticks. Dinner is another story if they are not busy the food can be old and not very easy to eat but if you catch them on a busy night the food is pretty good. They have all the average buffet items from General Tso’s to sesame chicken and of course chicken nuggets. There buffet consists of 3 islands cold food and deserts, main items and soups fried items. They have bottle beers and Pepsi on fountain. My final though is just get take out they do it well and its worth the price. If your in town for lunch the buffet isn’t bad if you see a lot of people. Becuse in lexington there isnt much of options in this category of food. Paul
