Looks can be deceiving! The place looks weird on the outside, come inside and it’s legit! Food is great and the restaurant is clean! Nice staff and prices are great. Food was fresh and hot! Great lunch special!

For everyday Chinese you can’t go wrong with Tasty China! The building may look old on the outside but the food is OMG! Always cook to order and they give you so much! Either enough to share or enough to save for later. The service is sometimes hard to understand, but hey, we’re walking into their house.

My husband and I have been going here since It opened in the old Dairy Queen location across from the library. What a welcome change that was! It is now under new management by members of the same family as when it opened. We think the food has gotten even better, although we liked it before. They cook everything fresh and give large portions for what you pay. I think some of the sauces are not as sweet as before and that agrees with us. But as with every other cuisine, some people like things more sweet or less sweet. Tomato sauce at a pizza place is a good comparison. If you want something without onions or mushrooms, just ask, they are happy to comply. They make their own eggrolls and a favorite of mine is the chicken and rice soup. Just right for cool autumn days! The children are no longer there and, along with many other customers, I’m missing them because they were so friendly and sweet. If you tried it before and weren’t happy, consider giving it another try. True, the owners English may not be the best, but I go for the food. And it is very good.

I consider myself an American-Chinese food expert. I eat quite a bit of Chinese. THISWASNOTHINGLIKEFOOD. Tasty China believes in Mary Poppins’ old motto, adding spoonfuls of sugar to every item, even the crab ragoons. I’ve never been unable to eat something, but this wasn’t even food. Please don’t eat this candy-Chinese mess.

Possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Waited quite a long time for the food while we watched what I guess were the owners children play with a table full of toys in the front dining area. Once we got back home, we realized our sweet and sour chicken was almost inedible. There was literally so much sugar in this sauce that it felt like I was eating candy. It was almost like Willy Wonka tried really hard to make a new chicken candy and failed big time. Even the crab rangoon tasted like sugar! What the hell?! I couldn’t finish my food.

I have been going here since it open and the food is still good as ever. The only problem I have with this place is the service. When placing an order either to the man or woman that owns the place it feels so uncomfortable because their English is horrible and this is coming from an Asian person. Another thing is their kids toys and junk are all in one both and it looks so messy. They shouldn’t have that at a place of business. But of course they are Asian and I bet they don’t even care.

My wife and I moved here a year ago. We had been searching for a good Chinese food restaurant when we were directed to another location. That place had bland food and«fried rice» that consisted of rice cooked in soy sauce. Fast forward a couple months and we decided on Chinese for dinner and we turned to Tasty China after passing it on a daily basis. We ordered general tso chicken and fried rice, crab Rangoon, and steamed dumplings. The lady said it would be ready in 10 minutes. It was. The food had excellent flavoring and wasn’t over cooked, Fried rice was perfect, crab Rangoon excellent. The steamed dumplings were so-so. We will be back.

I wasn’t able to taste the food :(I stood at the counter for 2+ minutes, staring at the female owner, while she YELLED into the phone in chinese. She literally stared at me for this time, while yelling to someone else on the phone. This place does not appreciate customers. Go somewhere else.

Chinese is one of those foods that, along with Italian(or at least pizza) is easy to cram into any old building. In this case it looks like it was a gas station. Or maybe a dry cleaner. Or maybe it was a dry cleaner that was a gas station. Whatever the case, it is now a relatively small location, and you go in, look at the handful of pictures above the counter that look almost nothing like what you will end up with when it is delivered. You can also eat in if that is your thing, but this is mostly a to-go location, so go we did. Luckily we were just down the street by the time we ate, and everything was tasty, so the name at least is truthful. Nothing fancy, serves to meet a craving in a pinch.
