Donuts and owner are amazing! The rest of the store not so much. It is definitely worth the stop best apple fritter you will ever have!

The owner of this donut shop is great and so are the donuts! The shop does not look like much but it is so good! Like the last reviewer said, I would not recommend buying the other items that he has for sale on the shelves. But you must try the donuts. The donut holes are the best!

They HAVE GOT to put something in these donuts! I cannot go to Lexington without someone demanding we go to «The Donut Shop» at least once! They have a nice assortment and the donuts are yummy (I guess I’m relatively indifferent about donuts in general).
The Donut Shop is actually a little store, but I don’t know I’d trust too many of the items in there — they look as though they may have been there a while. It is also a gathering place for a bunch of local guys to come and drink coffee and chat it up. My dad loved going in there and shooting the breeze with the guys. But to my crew, it’s all about the donuts.
Yes, I’ll be back. And back again. And back again after that.
