Best McDonald’s in Lexington. Clean. Sarah was very friendly. I mean, it’s a McDonald’s, so I don’t have much else to say, but I don’t want this to get stuck in the tips section. I’d say it’s definitely worth it to go inside, since the drive through can get pretty congested.

I’ve reviewed this McDonald’s before and thought it couldn’t get much worse but Oh it did! I took my son out for breakfast and this location is closest to my house so we went here. First we stood in line(only people in there) while they took and filled like 6 – 7 orders in the drive thru while we stood there. Finally the lady came and took our order. We get our food and go to get our drinks and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.(I have pictures) we sit down and I open my what was supposed to be a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and find no egg, no cheese and a rock hard biscuit with literally 2 pieces of bacon on it… I wrapped it up, walked to the counter and say it down and walked out. I am calling and filing a report with the McDonald’s franchise owner because it’s something every single time I go in here.

Worst McDonald’s in town. Restaurant opened at 5AM and at 6AM the breakfast menu still wasn’t available in the drive thru. Tried to order from memory. Got a simple Sausage McGriddle for myself and an egg McMuffin for my wife. Get home, McGriddle was two pieces of bread, thats it. The McMuffin had all its toppings, but it had been sitting in a warmer for hours by the inability to chew it. Before you people bitch about how you should be making $ 15 an hour, why don’t you work on earning what you get paid now. I don’t blame so much the workers as I do the management.

Cool new place. Like the layout and the new location. Service can still be a little slow. I have always thought it odd how you can go thru the drive thru and get faster service than by making the bigger effort of getting out of your car and going inside. Drive thru is real fast though!

This is a brand new McDonald’s that moved from up the street on the other side of the road in late 2014. As stated in my original review, this location has a very spacious and modern lobby with numerous electrical outlets to power gadgets taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi. The entire menu board is a huge, high-resolution LCD display, too, which is something I haven’t seen anywhere else and definitely not«old.» The way they’ve got the drive-thru lanes organized makes it pretty annoying trying to navigate the parking lot if you’re not going through the drive-thru, though. Your best bet’s parking in the big church parking lot across from the entrance and walking over. I initially gave this location four stars for being above average on facilities, service and food quality(relative to other McDonald’s locations, anyway; much of the food is still garbage, but it’s hot, tasty, and usually all inside the bun). However, I’m knocking it down to three stars because their sweet tea is now awful. They still brew their own tea like all stores, but they have a hydraulic system installed which pumps sweet tea from a holding tank back in the cooler to two dispensers at the drink station in the lobby. The tea dispensed by these hydraulic systems can taste sour like it’s spoiled if maintenance on the system is less than meticulous, and after being open a few months this store’s sweet tea now tastes horrible.(The unsweet tea isn’t affected; it’s still brewed and dumped into a pot in the lobby as always.) After getting the same awful sweet tea for three or four days, I finally brought the problem to a manager’s attention. He said they’d just flushed the lines so it should be okay, but it wasn’t. I’ve had the same discussion with managers and even owners at other locations and have yet to encounter one who’s been willing to even acknowledge a quality problem, much less put forth an effort to solve it. It’s not like I have super-sensitive taste buds, either, because another customer agreed the sweet tea tasted funky after I’d informed the manager of the problem. Tea isn’t like fountain drink syrup; it leaves a residue on anything it touches, those deposits build up and, over time, it starts affecting the taste. I’ve experienced the same problem with my iced tea maker at home, but had to figure that one out on my own. One would think McDonald’s should already know better.

I go through the drive thru here all the time. Better than it used to be, not as many wrong orders as before. HOWEVER, tonight was the first time I’ve gone inside the new location. I was very disappointed! It was very, VERYDIRTY! In the restaurant, and the condiment station, trash everywhere, all tables were dirty. The bathroom was disgusting! There was even a dirty diaper in one of the stalls. YUCK! The food was typical, but my nephew ordered chicken nuggets, and they didn’t give him his dipping sauce. He went back to get it and they made him pay 10 cents for it! Very disappointing! I know this McDonald’s, but I was expecting more from a brand spanking new restaurant.

Just another fast food place that sells burgers like everyone else. They need to update the inside like the other stores. Old inside and out. I’m hoping they get with the times soon.
