I have been to Noodles & Company a few times now, and I think it’s one of the best restaurants like this in Lexington. Noodles & Company has tasty food and a decent price for the portion you get. N&C also has good customer service, and decent parking. This N&C is in a spot where there are restaurants all around it, but I think noodles is the best of them all. They are usually pretty busy, but this time the line was going all the way back to the wall, and there was only 1 cashier. Overall, I would recommend Noodles & Company.

Heavenly Indonesian Peanut Sauté today… Bravo!!! Tip: ask nicely for extra gravy/sauce until they decide to update the recipe — very delicious. The recipe amount is never enough(especially for take out).

I really hate to have to write a bad review for Noodles & Co., because my previous experience here was fine, and the food was good. However, last night I visited in order for 25% of my purchase to be donated to our Heart Walk team at work, and am still suffering the consequences. First, they have changed the Pad Thai recipe recently, which is disappointing, 1. Because it is not better &2. Because it has about 300 more calories per serving! On this evening the restaurant was being manned by around 8 what I would call«kids». Nobody really seemed to know what they were doing, and sanitary practices were not being used as I watched a girl play with her lip for a good minute, then proceed to do things at one of the prep stations. They were all goofing off — no professionalism at all. I tried to ignore these things & finally got my food. Now for the worst part… I was glutened by the Pad Thai. It wasn’t even good, I did not even finish the serving(which is not normal for me), and my husband did not like the steak stroganoff at all. Both dishes were dry & bland, and I am still in pain from the lack of attention to detail causing the cross contamination. Needless to say, I will not be back.

This place was one of my favorites, because it was very good when the manager who opened it was around regularly. The last few visits, he wasn’t there, and the difference it made is very noticeable. I used to leave full, but still wanting more food. Today my dish was unrecognizable, and tasted so bad. I barely ate half, and only because I was so hungry. I saw a bad inspection on the wall as well. I hope they return to their original quality so we can start going there again.

The food was delish, we had Mac n cheese with chicken, spicy peanut noodle bowl and Asian BBQ meatballs. The meatballs were not a favorite… A frozen meatball with sauce. Not exciting! Spicy peanut noodle bowl was excellent… Fresh cilantro delivered a bright freshness. However, each dish that came out was a mess. The girl cooking was sloppy. No hair restraint. I watched her move between cooking, talking on the store phone, running her fingers though her hair to texting… Not once did she was her hands. In general the staff reflects the restaurant. It was messy and dirty all around and this was not a busy time. It was 3pm. The order taker was extremely clueless as well, I watched her make a mistake on every person who came while we were there. I say good is good but they need some training especially on sanitation!

Pasta was luke warm with no sauce. The dish my wife got was supposed to have mushrooms. There was one in the whole dish. All tables where dirty This is my second time here. Last time was pretty good. Either the place went down hill or time for new employees.

My recent visit made this our third time eating here. What coaxed me back in was the Thursday night in January kids eat free with an adult entrée purchase promotion. I kept it simple and ordered buttered egg noodles with grilled chicken, my husband went spicy with Indonesian Peanut Sauté and my son got the Mac-n-Cheese with broccoli and apple sauce kids meal. Dessert was a rice crispy wedge and a chocolate oatmeal cookie. We waited 23 minutes for our food to come to the table. The broccoli was under cooked. The Indonesian dish tasted great but it seemed dry which was unappealing. The more simple noodles & chicken dish wasn’t as dry as his and I did enjoy it. My favorite part of the entire visit was the rice crispy and least favorite part was the noise level. I said that in my original review and I still find the loud atmosphere to be uncomfortable.

Exceptional Customer Service!!! I have ordered a small Tomato Basil Soup and Penne Rosa. They have charged me for big bowl of Tomato Basil soup. When I bought it to their attention, the manager gave me a refund for both my orders. And the food ofcourse was delicious

I really want to like this place because my husband loves it, but I can’t bring myself to. The atmosphere and staff are great but the food is just blah. I have sampled many different things(maybe 60% of the menu) but each have been just ok, nothing to write home about. Once I had the fresh fruit and spinach salad and thought I liked it. Went back and had it again and it was totally different and not good. I really like the glass enclosed patio, their variety of drink options, and the fact that they bring your food to your table.

I love all the different options you have available for you at this place, and the ability you have to create whatever kind of noodle dish you want. Their salads are also pretty great. I love the spinach and strawberries! I’ve tried a few different things and look forward to trying more. The only thing wrong with the food is the price, which I think can be a tad expensive for what you get. I like the location on campus a bit better, but there’s nothing wrong with the one on Nicholasville Road. When sitting outside you have a big glass wall between you and the main street which can be kind of loud and distracting, and parking might be tough if it happens to be crowded. Overall, not big problems.

Now THIS is what I’m talking about! A wide variety of items on the menu(DELICIOUS) and their customer service beats any in town. They are quick to offer suggestions after coming to your side while you look at the menu on the wall. Not sure you’ll like something? They offer you a sample. When your food is ordered and ready, they bring it to your seat, piping hot and fresh. Finally, a restaurant who understands quality on all points. I recommend the mac and cheese, and ask for extra cheese if you dare. It’s phenomenal.

I only have one complaint about this place and it’s the same as with all restaurants: TURNTHESTUPIDMUSICDOWN! I’m so tired of screaming to someone 2.5 feet away from me to have a simple conversation. Beside this problem, this is a great place to eat. Lots of choices and always fresh. This is the most important thing a restaurant can do: serve fresh fare. I’m SO glad that this place is in town so I can have a great lunch or dinner any time I’m in the Nicholasville Rd. area. So far I’ve tried about 6 dishes and my wife has tried at least 4. We loved every single meal. I absolutely love the Japanese Pan Noodles. I add steak usually. It’s great. You’d never think those noodles would stick with you for long but they keep you full for quite a while. Just turn the music DOWN!

Super happy I came here! I have been dying to come and try it. I’m not a huge pasta fan, but this place was calling my name! I loved how the employees came out and assisted folks on the menu! I got the Thai Hot pot, it was extremely good… Pretty spicy and flavored just right. My daughter got the Pene Rosa with chicken and her friend got the Japanese Pan Noodles with steak. Both were really good! They were really impressed. I always love when a restaurant has the Coke Freestyle drink dispenser… So many choices… We will be back!

I often avoid chains while in areas with great local options(which I do believe Lexington has), BUT despite this location being pretty new, this Noodles and Company has quickly jumped into supporting the community, so I’m happy to support them. I’m a runner and also volunteer with Girls on the Run and Noodles and Company came to our Girls on the Run 5K as well as two other races I’ve run in the past few months, cheerfully giving out bananas and coupons. As far as food goes, they have a variety of options and I feel some are considerably stronger than others. As a general rule, I’ve found their Asian inspired dishes to be more flavorful than others. Prices are pretty reasonable for this type of restaurant(I feel like prices, quality, atmosphere, etc are comparable to Chipotle). I’ve been here twice and service was really strong one time, but not very good the other. For the most part though, I think they do a good job and I’m happy to have them in Lexington.

My friends and I tried Noodles & Company on their opening weekend a while back. It was jam packed with people hovering over us, waiting for our seats. This did not make for a great dining experience. Likewise, the macaroni and cheese that I had did not live up to the hype, but I think that my taste buds were perhaps hampered by the diners staring at me, coveting my seat. Last night my friend and I decided to try it again, hoping that the lack of a crowd would allow us to give Noodles & Company a fair chance. I had the small buttered noodles. The noodles come with a light Italian seasoning and a generous helping of parmesan cheese on top. My friend had the Japanese Pan noodles. I became envious of that spicy entrée, but what can I say when I ordered a rather bland dish? I would like to return to Noodles & Company to try one of their Asian options. At the moment, the most impressive thing to me about this restaurant is the soda machine. This machine allows you to just have a regular soda, or a soda with orange, cherry, vanilla, lime, lemon, or cherry vanilla syrup. I tried an orange coke, then for my refill a cherry vanilla coke. I really enjoyed it and I wish more restaurants had these machines.

This is my new go-to place for fast(service) food where I unleash the carb-monster I can truly be!!! It has many of the qualities of a sit-down restaurant with the convenience of a fast food place. I have sampled close to the 70% of the menu and really enjoyed many of the dishes. Because everything is cooked to order, their menu is definitely open to customization. In addition to having almost all the noodle dishes available as vegetarian options, they do have some vegan options as well. For those of us who can’t consume gluten, they do carry a few gluten free noodles to satisfy your carb craving. When I’m having one of those moments, I feel less guilty about eating a bowl of pasta when I order the smaller portion. Once I have the meat/protein added, it becomes extremely satisfying.

I had a very good meal at Noodles & Company tonight. For the uninitiated, Noodles & Company is a fast-casual restaurant that serves all sorts of noodle-based dishes as well as soup, sandwiches and salads. There were two of us and we went the Asian noodle route, opting for the Indonesian Peanut Sauté and the Japanese Pan Noodles. I added chicken to the Indonesian Peanut Sauté, and my dining companion added beef to her Japanese Pan Noodles. Both dishes were really flavorful and good. Other options that we passed on this time but eyed for a future visit were cavatappi with pesto, mushroom stroganoff, Tuscan linguine and Pad Thai. Service was quite attentive. While we do not expect a lot of tableside TLC in a fast-casual environment where you order at the counter, we were delightfully surprised when we got it. There were employees working the floor, delivering orders, checking on us after the food had arrived and promptly offering to clear dishes from our table as we finished. When they were not checking on tables, they were tidying up the dining room. I so appreciate the attention to detail. It bugs me to no end to eat in a restaurant that is messy. This can ruin a meal and usually just boils down to a complete lack of effort. This is clearly not the case at Noodles & Company, and this patron applauds the extra-mile that they put forth in this category. I’m looking forward to returning and trying more of the innovative menu, including the soups and salads. Well done, Noodles! Keep up the good work!

Noodles Galore! From Caramelized Udon to sweet and creamy coconut rice noodles! Holy Moly you could die and be in noodle heaven in the blink of an eye… You absolutely can bring everyone to this restaurant! There is a dish for all discerning tastes! Creamy luscious sauces and Wonderful toppings! The shredded pork was super Yum ! One of my Favs is the Med Sandwich and the Med salad. The dressing on these is savory and tastey. Even better is there commitment to investing in the community by using local fresh products and donations of food to local shelters! Hats of to you Noodles and Company!!!
