As a fellow bar mate watching the event unfold next to this woman. This lady was very intoxicated and at times vulgar. Emily was sweet as pie. Her composure was impressive and all staff handled this standard cut off professionally.

Horrible service… Rude and inappropriate. They assumed I was drinking and wouldn’t give me a drink I requested. The way they handled it was incredibly unprofessional. Angel was very kind however didn’t understand to the fact that I was just visiting and he was incredibly inconsiderate. Unavailable and they continually made mistakes. Emily is incredibly lax in being a manager. She refuses to acknowledge the fact that her staff and herself is sufficient in understanding costumer needs… She was argumentative. Rude and had an attitude: I would absolutely never return! What happened to the south?

Excellent service. I watched as Stacy L, who left a horrible review was drunk, swaying with every step and alurring, beasts damn near out of her dress. The staff was right to cut her off and the staff handled her rude comments and vulgarity with excellence par none. 10 of 10. Would recommend to anyone.

Off to a rocky start. Told a 25 minute wait. While waiting I saw three empty tables that took 15 minutes to get cleaned off and it took 3 people to accomplish it. After the tables were ready and another 15 minutes before people were sat at them. I wondered how long they give guests to walk back before they lose their spot in line. Finally got a table after 35 minutes. Thank the Lord the Pizza was freakin AWESOME! We got the Chicken Gouda Pizza. Nice crispy crust, chicken tastes like it’s smoked, and the rest of the toppings blend perfectly.

The chicken Gouda pizza was excellent! Sat at the bar & sampled some delicious beers from their extensive selection. Would definitely recommend.

Very good pizza place with great variety in beer! You have to try the grape and gorgonzola pizza. Though it is a veg pizza, I am sure you would like it! The Chipotle Chicken pizza and the garlic bread were yumm too… There is good variety in gluten free pizzas too. For people who do not like the taste of beer so much, try the sweet water blue ale. It’s a blueberry flavoured beer which is very interesting.

So I’ve been here twice now and have nothing but good things to say. Beverages: Excellent selection, if you can’t find something you like, there’s something wrong with you. Pizza: I’ve tried 4 or 5 different types and so far the Chicken Gouda is the stand out, but all of them have been delicious. Big fan. Service: Almost better than the pizza. I’ve had both Savannah and Courtney as servers and they’re both awesome. Courtney, in particular, has a lovely voice and does a phenomenal rendition of happy birthday. Will be back many more times!

This was passing decent. I wish 3.5 was an option. Pies: I dunno, I thought it was OK at best. We got the classic, which had all kinds of meat and mushrooms and banana pepper which sounds great on paper, but i think their use of the fine ground sausage ruined it for me. That’s just a personal preference though. Pints: I had a PBR on tap. I love PBR on tap. Right on.

I love coming to Pies & Pints! It’s in a great location and it’s a very fun, upbeat place to get dinner with friends. On my most recent visit to P&P, I got the chipotle chicken pizza, which I will definitely be getting again. It was delicious! My friend got the pesto pizza and was equally as satisfied. You will pretty much always have to deal with a wait time to get a table, but it’s no big deal since they will text you when your table is ready so you can go across to the park(what we did) or grab a drink at any of the nearby bars.

This place has created some of the best wings in town(if not the best)…don’t expect buffalo wings tho, as these have a different take. I get them every time. The pizza is very good, I like the chicken Gouda. The salads are massive and good as well. The only downside is that they’re a little slow but I suppose that’s a worthy price for quality!

Really great beer selection that they break down really well on the drink menu for those who do not know what they are looking for. Good amount of local beers. The waitress was also very knowledgeable about their drinks. Although I do think she mentioned a beer or two that I could not find on the menu when I look later. Not sure if that means that the list isn’t always kept up to date. I had a pizza that had a balsamic sauce on it that was my favorite and really delicious. I also had a pizza with jalapenos and beans that was pretty good. My father had what looked like a meat lovers pizza+banana peppers and said it was better without the banana peppers. My son really liked his cheese pizza. Great service and food. It went back by later the same night and it looks like it gets absolutely packed at night and can have a 50 minute wait so plan ahead.

Great selection of beer. Margherita pizza was on point even though it would have been cool if that had a homemade garlic butter sauce. The brownie desert was just the right amount of chocolate and the right amount of peanut butter(definitely great idea to split because it’s rich). Definitely not a pie place though. They may have two deserts tops. It’s located right by triangle park in Victorian Square which is definitely worth exploring if you have the time.

Fantastic pizza with phenomenal ingredients as toppings. Great beer selection as well(may I suggest the Shotgun Wedding if you’ve never had it). A very large pizza runs $ 23-$ 26 and has eight giant slices that could feed 3. You can also split the large pizza: we got Steak n Mushrooms and Margherita. Definitely would come back again. 10⁄10

On one side of Triangle Park, Pies & Pints has been a favorite of mine not because it’s so easy to walk across from either of the downtown hotel, artisan pizzas, and many options for whatever beer tickles your fancy. The salads are also surprisingly fresh and leave you not waited down with the grease from pizza, and a small portion is more than enough for two people! In my experience, they are happy to accommodate any requests: «can you put all of the peppers on one half of the pizza?» However, it consistently runs us $ 40(1 pizza, 1 salad) for lunch for 2 people without alcohol, which just feels a little overpriced… You are getting a lot of great perks though with the nice servers, slower meal(never come out in less than an hour), great food, and varied selection.

Possibly the best gluten free pizza in town! Whether you build your own or try one of their specialty pies, always delicious! Oh, and don’t forget to try the wings! You will then realize that you should also acquire some of the Gorgonzola sauce that comes with them to dip your pizza in. Seriously, it’s so good. Generally pretty busy, but I promise it’s worth the wait. As for the atmosphere, it can be a bit loud. The beer selection is good, and includes my favorite GF beer, Omission Pale Ale. Have also ordered for pick up. Took about 25 min for wings and 2 pizzas to be prepared, so not too bad. Really wish they delivered. My waistline would suffer though, so maybe things are better this way!

Another great night out at Pies and Pints. The only thing I don’t like about this place is the narrow area between bar and wall. We had great garlic roast, draft beer, and a 10″ classic pizza. It was great. We brought home a Howler(½ the size of a Growler) of one of the beers on tap. The staff is awesome here, the hostesses help out the waiters /waitresses by pre-bussing, which shows that they have great managers and staff. We love this place. You should definitely check them out. Park in the parking deck, be prepared for about an hour wait on busy nights(which is whenever Rupp has an event).

It’s not fair for someone from New Haven to judge Kentucky pizza. We invented pizza so that gives us the right to be major pizza snobs. But Pies & Pints is pretty good. It’s not the traditional pizza that I’m used to, but they make a decent pie with creative toppings. They do also have a gluten free option, but it’s not good at all so GFers should stick to other menu items. And their other items are awesome.(Pulled pork nachos? YES please!) They also have a great rotating beer selection. Overall, a good place to grab a casual dinner or to hang out at the bar!

Get there early please. We waited over an hour to get a table. Not their fault they have plenty of seating. It’s just quite the happening place on a Saturday night. Not sure how many beers they had on tap but it was amazing to say the least. I’m not really a beer snob at all, not hugely into the craft beer scene yet but if you are this is the place for you. I had one of their beer offerings and had to finish my wife’s. She is not really a drinker at all. When we finally got seated I was so ready for something else to hit my stomach. Order from their great Pizza menu. Every item on the Pizza is fresh and delicious. Goat cheeses are fantastic on the pie’s! Woop Woop! It’s right on the square in downtown Lexington. All of the servers and hostesses were great and friendly. It’s a little pricey but I’m not looking for a bargain when coming to a place like this. It’s not just a few beers and pizza, it’s Pies & Pints. It’s a unique experience I won’t soon forget.

Lexington, you have a fiiiiiiine pizza joint. My family chose to order the Classic(pepperoni, sausage, roasted mushrooms, banana peppers and tomato sauce) and the Chicken Gouda(marinated grilled chicken, bacon, smoked gouda, red onions, chipotle crema and scallions.) Holy wow wow wow! Two very distinct options, yet both were absolutely scrumptious. This pizza isn’t your«run of the mill» pizza. This is pizza that makes you go, «Well, I’d make a trip to Lexington again just for that slice.» As for the beer options, it was a plenty. They had so many to choose from that I found myself having trouble deciding. I ended up going with the SweetWater Blue, which was just as I’d hoped it would be. It was a light bodied ale with a hint of blueberries. Very refreshing. Here’s where you can find out more about this wonderful option: The layout of Pies & Pints is very deceiving as from the outside it would appear to have very little space inside. Yet — when you walk in you quickly realize that there is plenty of space for intimate seating, family style seating or the sit on the edge of your seat yelling at a game kind of seating. They have it all. And when I revisit Lexington, I’ll be making this my dinner spot.
