Ramada Inn

We’ve stayed here for the last 4 – 5 years on Derby weekend as it’s the selected location for our car club. This is a hotel that’s seen better days and needs a complete overhaul. The staff are great, I have no issues there but the room quality is grungy. I did see that they are upgrading the rooms but hey had not yet updated he room we stayed in. Perhaps the thing that peeved me the most is the internet speed. Downloading files was taking about a megabyte a minute so a typical good quality image was taking 4 – 5 minutes. In today’s world, this is unacceptable. There are several folks in the club who are looking for a change of venue, and I’m one who would welcome change.

I came, along with my parents, to see my sister at the University of Kentucky and stayed at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center in Lexington, Kentucky. I have one word to describe this hotel… Atrocious. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this hotel. First off, the indoor pool’s water was WAY too hot. Also, the room looked very worn and was not very pleasant-​smelling. On our second day of our visit, all things that could go wrong, WENT WRONG.
I woke up and took a shower, during which a light fell off and almost landed on my head. After touring the university a little bit more, we came back to figure out that some ignoramus had been smoking marijuana on our floor. Due to this, not only did we have to leave early, but we also had to say goodbye to my sister sooner. To conclude, I do not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.
