All right so this is an update for this Sonic. Few thursdays ago, they had their BOGO boneless wings and that night, I had a HORRIBLE bout of food poisoning. It was so bad that I woke up in the middle of the night from stomach rumbles and then an unavoidable projectile vomiting. Prior to this, I NEVER had anything happen to me, which was what surprised me! Then I went on facebook and I made a general statement that I had food poisoning. The moderator on Sonic Drive-in’s page contacted me via facebook comment and insisted that I put down my contact info through private message and someone would get in touch with me. Indeed, someone was able to get in touch and after I described what happened, he gave me a $ 20 gift certificate. From this experience, I feel that this sonic will take a hit in one star; however, I hope this review does put them in positive light. The customer service is REALLY good, corporate as well as franchisee. The owner of this location said that he would look into it and hopefully, we saved lives those few weeks. When in need, do not feel afraid to reach out to this location. They are all ears.

If no stars was possible that would be my rating. This location is HORRIBLE!!! Received 3VERYOVERCOOKED burgers… they were actually CRUNCHY… and 2 overcooked orders of tater tots. The grease was definitely at least a couple days past its prime. To top it all off we had the privilege of waiting FOREVER in the drive thru line to receive this glorious feast and got to pay $ 19.45.

I’m not a fast food fan, so 4 stars really says a lot about my last experience here. Years ago, I used to go here often after church with a group. The kids loved it and it was a great place to enjoy the open air and the picnic tables. We would always order on foot near the picnic tables. One weeknight during the Snowmageddon, I found myself in the passenger seat of my husbands Jeep… he made a great chauffeur during those timely weeks, so I didn’t complain when he chose Sonic in a hurry. I’m not a burger fan, so I was excited to see boneless buffalo wings on the menu, and I was immediately sold on them. One thing that you have to know about boneless buffalo wings though, is that they’re not necessarily fast food. I have them at other places too, and they’re never one of timeliest things on the menu. So we ordered from the extremely loud drivethru speaker contraption and then pulled ahead, into the parking spot where we were told to wait. It was about a 10 minute wait. So again, if you’re looking for fast, don’t order the boneless wings. My lap meal was fabulous. The wings were drenched in sauce, just the way I like them. So, if you don’t like saucey, I suggest that you ask for light sauce. The fries were hot and fresh and my chauffeur enjoyed his burger too. I always order ice water here because I love the ice chips. A friend of mine always takes advantage of their happy hour though, I’m not sure when or what it includes, but strawberry limeaid is her drink of happy hour choice.

I always have a giggle when people review nationwide chains. Anywho, this sonic has some sort of crossed wires problem, so the ordering and paying is very confusing.

Sonic is a drive-in fast food place where you don’t even have to get out of your car. There are places where the servers actually come out on roller skates. I can’t get enough Extra-Long cheese coneys, and the Tater Tots are tasty. The drinks are good, and you can mix and match, which is always fun. You can’t go wrong with choices like… burgers, coneys, fries, onion rings and tots.
