This is the worst Subway in Lexington, possibly the worst in the US. I was staying in a nearby hotel, and received a coupon for a 6″ sub. I tried to redeem the coupon, yet the manager said that it was more than six months old, and basically tried to accuse me of defrauding him. Note that I had only just then received it, I don’t even live in Lexington.
He got agitated, and was yelling. It was surreal. I normally love Subway, but will never, ever consider going to this one again.

I had lunch here today, and it was a terrible customer service experience. There was only one guy working, the same guy that always works there, and he got overwhelmed when 3 or 4 customers came in at once. He negligently through things on our sandwiches and was obviously on the verge of having an anxiety attack the entire time; very little concern for the quality of sandwiches. They put less ingredients on the sandwiches than other Subways in the area. This is not my first bad experience with that store, and hopefully this time I will remember not to return.

While it’s always less than amazing to be served by someone who doesn’t speak English well and who treats you like they’re doing you a favor, I have to say that the cleanliness and food quality at this location are sufficiently impressive to still warrant a four star review.

Lexington, KY
This is a Subway restaurant. It is like every other Subway restaurant. But it is two doors down from my work. So I eat here very often, mainly because I am in a hurry and I am lazy. I still do not know the names of the guys who work here, nor do they know mine. They seem sad. But they build Subway sandwiches and take my money, and the place is spotless, so I keep going back because it’s two doors down from my work. Subway.

The best Subway in Lexington hands down.
The food is always fresh and cold. It’s always clean. The staff is amiable and kind. We visited so regularly that they remembered our orders for us; we were really impressed!
