Target Stores

I was racially profiled and discriminated against at this Target. I have spent thousands of dollars at Target only to be discriminated against!!! I called corporate for assistance but got none. I was even told that my behavior was suspicious??? I guess being black and walking into target without your original receipt makes you suspicious. They will be hearing from my lawyer.

Came here to pick up a few things (snacks, toiletries, etc.) during our recent visit to South Carolina. This particular Target was like every other Target I’ve been to — clean, good selection of products, Starbucks, etc. This would have been an uneventful (and thus 3 star) shopping experience if not for the extremely rude and slow service at the checkout (dropping it to two stars). There were only three registers open resulting in a moderate sized line at each. I had the misfortune of picking the slowest and rudest of the three. When we placed our items on the counter, the phone at the register rang, and, instead of ringing up our items, the cashier proceeded to answer the phone and have a PROLONGED conversation with the person on the other end. When I voiced my displeasure, the cashier continued to ignore us and even turned her back so she could continue her conversation without having to look at me glaring at her. When her conversation was over, she didn’t greet us or apologize for keeping us waiting. Instead, she rang up our items in silence and grunted at us when she was done. Screw it. Poor customer service is UNACCEPTABLE !!!
