I know the food is decent but I order a omelet and a side of chili. All 6 of my friends order behind me a long with many others who all received their food and I did not get my food. I was told breakfest food takes longer than watched the people behind me get eggs and omlets. So I just went to cancel my food because all my friend where done. I received no remorse or concern but was brushed to the side. I know it’s a busy place but to not make it right or even care will be the reason I will not be back.

Its best feature is that it never closes. Its second-​best feature is that it’s cheap. Our dinner tonight, a country-​fried burger, fried mushrooms (with horseradish dipping sauce), 2 eggs with ham, biscuits and gravy, and 2 soft-​drinks was less than $ 18. The food was OK, nothing to write-​home about.
It’s self-​service: order at the counter, find a seat, pickup your food when your name is called. Remember to grab silverware (to your right) when you pickup your food. If you want more than one napkin you’ll have to ask.

The woman yelling orders is annoying & grating. Customers freely «cut» in line. The wait for food was FOREVER. The prices were high for the amount of low quality food you receive. I was really excited to visit here, but this place was just a huge disappointment.

#ShutUpAndTakeMyMoney! Now that’s a plate of REAL French Frys and CHEESE! Are you kidding me that is my sandwich? Two fresh juicy, grilled hamburgers bigger than the BUN, CHEESE, EGG, map and ah ya BACON! loaded with the Stuff we like.
YOU CAN GET GRAVY ON IT TOO!!! This is a masterpiece of pure indulgence of the best kind, what wait there’s more. … ice cream float too!!!
AM I on some INCREDIBLE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE HIDDEN TV SHOW? LOVE THIS PLACE.

This is a great place especially if you want something more along the fast food chain type of meal like a burger and fries without the fast food taste. The food is prepped once your order is placed. It’s usually ready within a few minutes. The staff is super friendly, and it’s especially an essential place to eat when you realize you’re starving at 3 am and you’re not in the mood for Denny’s or Waffle House. Overall, this place is great, give them a try;)

Top rating because I love the Ho, the food is tasty, and they’re open 24 hours.
Burgers, chicken, fries, tots, breakfast, and tons more. The combinations are quite massive. I typically get a burger — single if I’m not too hungry, double if I am quite hungry — and fries, sometimes with cheese, bacon, jalapeños or whatever I’m craving at the moment.
Once you order, you sit and wait a few moments until the food is prepared. Then, you pay and pick it up. Remember to tell them if it’s your first time visiting. They’ll make sure to take care of you right.
While you’re there, you can pick up some Ho items, play an arcade video game, or some touchscreen video crack (as I call it). They’re basically games that you can pay for and play. It’s a great time waster.
Anyway, give it a try sometime if you’re in the mood for a decent greasy spoon kinda place. It’s especially good after a night of drinking. ;-)

Everyone I talked to said that while in town, this was the ONE place I had to try. After a long day, I ended up here around 11pm. Upon recommendation, I had the Tolly Ho burger and chili cheese fries. There was a group of 15 ahead of me, so I had a bit of a wait, but it was totally worth it.
The chili cheese fries were definitely the star of the show. I mean, I’ve never met a crinkle fry I didn’t enjoy. Smother them in gobs of homemade chili and melted cheese and I’ll show you a happy girl. I can’t imagine any human actually consuming the entire serving of fries though. It was HUGE. Then again, give me a few cocktails and I may prove myself wrong.
The burger was also delicious. The only downside to the entire meal was how I felt about myself afterwards. Even typing the review, I remember how much food I consumed at that meal and it’s a mix of reliving how delicious it was… and fear that I clogged my arteries forever.

The perfect place for all the young collage students to gain their freshman 15 lol! Or soak up the booze after the bars close. Or to grab a very quick bite to get that is a step above a fast food joint. The possibilities are endless at the good ol’ Ho! My son loves the burgers and bacon chesse fries and he needs the 15pnds now so I encourage the dinner here once in a while! Sometimes you can have a good ol greasy burger to stuff in your face and hear the bells of heaven! Enjoy!

I came here because it was one of the few options that were open at 1:30 in the morning. It was pretty busy so I think they’re just beating the tar out of the late night competition. Like others have said, this is late night food that’s often for drunks and students pulling all-​nighters, etc. The food is pretty good though and much of it will be in greater portions than you’re expecting.
Now for the bad. It’s one minute shy of an eternity between ordering your food and receiving it. You could pass the time by playing the arcade games but most of them will just eat your quarters. That may be why nobody else was attempting it. I’m sure the crowd varies from night to night but on this night there were some super obnoxious ladies and at least one person that was just walking in circles around the place making things kind of awkward.

Lotsa whining on here. Look… the food is simple and cheap. It’s also UK’s staple for drunken eating and pinball. I loved the place back then and still love it today. It’s really more a place to visit for UK alum or current students. People in Lexington have become toads on some of these food reviews. I give it 5 stars because of the nostalgia and cheap eats & beer. I appreciate that they kept prices as low as they did back then too. It’s always nice to know you can count on those types of places when you’re low on luck in the bank account.

Fan since college. Only one bad experience in the ensuing forty years. I only wish they would publish nutrition info, but that doesn’t stop me from coming.
Here’s an idea, if everyone who reads this review will commit to bringing a large party to the Ho three or four times a week, perhaps they’ll make so much money that they’ll be more able to make that investment.

This place is a huge draw for the college folks. The food is just okay and they are open 24hrs a day which I guess is cool if your drunk and hungry and near campus at 3 am of which you can see just about anything or anyone here but they will nickel and dime you to death here. There are no refills on your drink unless you are drinking water. They charge for every sauce ect that you ask for and the food is at a premium here for the most part. The lady taking your payment has the personality of a tack. The portions seem to be good and the mostly greasy spoon food is tasty but the lack of refills, the up-​charge on every single item and the general attitude here and the occasional upset stomach ruin it for me.

I got the veggie burger, fries, and a shake. I can honestly say they were all well made and of good materials.
Horses are awesome. I would eat here again.

Use to go here back in my partying days after a long night of dancing! The food was always great! Greasy but great lol! Haven’t been in a while so I may have to update it once I manage to get there!

Quality of Burger meat is just so-​so. Might be a hair above or below Burger King in this department.
24 hours is the reason u come here.

The only drawback I noticed was the wait. Employees seemed a little nonchalant in the service department, and it felt like forever to get my food. Guess that is part of the Ho experience.

Loved it! Worth the hour+ drive from Falmouth. We ordered several things just to try them all. Mega ho, Super ho, Orings, fries, mushrooms, tenders and chili bacon cheese fries for four of us. We couldn’t finish it but so glad we tried. Best burger I have had in a long time!

I’ll sum it up like this, it looks nicer than Waffle House, but the food is not as good. We found ourselves looking for a late bite to eat and the options are pretty limited. Ordering process is ridiculous, takes way too long, but I figured maybe that means the food comes out fast. Uh no, the food takes twice as long to come out. Biggest disappointment were hash browns, I don’t know how you mess them up this bad but they were horrible. Seemed like they thawed them in the microwave and threw them on the grill for a second. Cold, no flavor, and not crisp at all= worst hash browns I have ever had. Fries on the other hand, they were legit. We got cheese fries and ate every last one. Burgers were ok, but nothing you should wait as long as we did for ours. I’m sure it’s been around forever so everyone goes here after a night out, but I would search for better if I am every back in Lex looking for latenight food.

A frequent hangout of mine when I was in college, but have not been to the new location until today. Glad to report that the food is exactly the same. I got my standard country fried ho which is amazing. And the fries are really good and plentiful. If you’ve never been here it’s like eating at a bowling alley grill. The prices are low and the portions are big. I didn’t give it five stars just because it left me with a gut bomb in my stomach but I guess that’s to be expected from big greasy food.

Great food, crappy service. Don’t go here unless it’s 1 am or later, the workers don’t want to be here and are rude.

My last visit here! Rude rude rude! They are slow, cleaned a milk shake machine and wiped walls while we waited for them to take our order! Finally took our order, interrupted me three times while I tried to tell him my order. I asked for my beer after she was asked by coworker, she said get it yourself. I waited and waited for my beer while she texted someone three times. I still don’t have my beer, so I went and sat down. Still waiting. Everything sounds good about this place except actually enjoying the experience. They think they are something they are not!
Please don’t send people here for a Lexington experience, they will think we are all like them!
