Went there with my family and the place was empty. The server/bartender lady was extremely rude for no reason. The rates to play a single game of pool was 5 bucks per hour per person. That is insanely high. The best thing going for this place was the nice pool tables. I have lived in Lexington for the past 5 years and have never experienced rude service like that. I can assure you that I will never go there again

It is the only place to have some drinks before a ball game in the center, well where you don’t have to pay hotel prices. The beer is cold, they have pool tables if that’s your thing. I did notice they cut down the number of pool tables and added more tables which is awesome. We only ever come here if we are going to a UK game so that is rare. Not much else to say. The bartenders are kind of slow but on game nights they do set up a lady selling your typical beers so you don’t have to wait for people ordering mixed drinks! Just bring cash!

All reviews about staff are accurate. I asked a simple question about the amount they billed me for pool and watched two staff members make faces/comments. I was never even told that you had to pay for pool, and we played for roughly 2 hours for $ 28. Never saw my itemized tab, listened to the bartenders complain about their jobs multiple times, and was quite possibly the worst customer service experience I’ve ever been a part of.

Cool place. Been here 3 times and the bartender(older women) is rude and frankly a «B». That’s a word I never use, but she just flat out doesn’t get customer service.

Not a very friendly bartender… Expensive drinks and not much of a food selection.

Was here, as a meeting place, waiting for the arrival of a student filmmaker from Hawaii. The first day was a bit slow and definitely no wait staff. The place was not really busy and the busiest portion was basically me and about 10 other people who would be helping with the movie being shot over the next couple of days. Yesterday, I went there again, since we had all agreed to meet up for the first scene of the movie. Immediately, there was a guy who went out of his way to serve me water that I had asked for. Since I ran there, thinking I was late for the shoot, it was great to drink down a cold glass of water. The next time I went in there to get water bottles refilled and it was pretty easy to do so. Both these times mind you, they did not care that I did not tip them. Do not know if they actually hated me for not doing that or what.

Tried this place out during a very busy weekend. Service was slow, but food was good; waitstaff was nice. Would definitely be willing to try on another day.

HORRIBLE service by a wait staff that couldn’t care less. I was there this past weekend for Scarefest. The bar was jam packed, and the staff were moving in ultra slow motion. I stood in line at the bar for over 45 minutes waiting to be served, and finally left. This staff clearly doesn’t get the concept of hustling to get more tips. We overheard them making snarky remarks about the clientelle in their establishment that night Amazing these people even have jobs — especially in a big college town like Lexington. Horribly mismanaged. There are plenty of other bars and restaurants less than a block away. Take your business elsewhere.

Plenty of 8-ft tables, all generally very-well maintained. Rates are as cheap as anyplace in town, and much better than comparable places in the larger cities. Mix of both relatively experienced and inexperienced players. Upscale setting and environment, friendly staff. And actually, there are restrooms inside the Restaurant — they’re on the right, toward the rear. If you park in the public lot across from the Hyatt, be sure to bring in your ticket and have it validated.

Yesterday’s is the pool hall that is in the shopping center next to Rupp Arena. It has about ten tables and even a little shop for pool stick and other billiard related things. The Good — Lot’s of table and a little more upscale than other pool halls in town. — They have lots of room and seating to relax between shots. The Bad — The food smells and tastes like hotel room service. The Ugly — For smoker there is a long walk either across the shopping center or up stairs if you want to smoke.
