Hit & miss. Some visits, your server will be very attentive, food will be brought out quickly, and you’ll enjoy yourself immensely. Other times, the service sucks, food will take forever, and it will be below standard. Also, very inconsistent serving sizes– sometimes your salad is huge and the next visit it’ll be so scrawny, you feel embarrassed paying for it.

Mi Hacienda never fails me. It’s not a place that would be on my «top 50 places to eat before I die» list, but it’s a consistently good and reasonably priced lunch for my family. Pollo cheese dip is a great option!

Over the past year, things have slowly declined. We used to eat there at least twice a month, but the last few visits that we’ve had it’s not been very good and the service has gone downhill. Used to be a great place. Seems to follow the mexican restaurant trend in Liberty. Great at the beginning then after a couple years goes downhill, then shuts down.

Pretty typical suburban family Mexican restaurant, with not stunning, but very solid food. The chips are hot and fresh, and refilled as needed. I really enjoyed the salsa; it wasn’t very hot, but the consistency is just right, and they use cilantro, which I love. I ordered pork fajitas because they come with potatoes-different, but I love papas con chorizo. The meat isn’t overly seasoned, but the char on all the vegetables gives it a good flavor overall, especially with some more of that salsa. The beans and rice are… beans and rice; as with most places, don’t really pay that much attention. I had plenty to eat on the fajita plate. The quesadilla on my friend’s plate looked really good. Don’t hold me to this, but I think their 22-oz. margaritas were on special at $ 6.95 or some ridiculously low price that night. They were tasty if not particularly potent, but at least after 22 ounces, I was able to walk out of the place. Our server was very nice and kept the chips coming and plates cleared as needed. Overall, it was a very solid, enjoyable suburban dining experience.

Like a lot of Mexican restaurants, the quality has begun to slip after a while. The food is still good but it needs a good scrubbing down.

You get what you pay for. Margaritas tasted like a mellow yellow, food was room temperature and the service left a lot to be desired. Employees seemed miserable and the overall environment was depressing. The customers, the staff… not a single smile or friendly face in this joint! $ 18 for 2 margaritas, 2 blah meals and mediocre chips & salsa = you get what you pay for! I haven’t spent less than $ 30 on Mexican dinner for 2 in years. So, there’s that!

Very average Mexican food. I’ve never had anything bad and the service is always good. Great taco Tuesday special $ 1.50 aka carte. Expect consistent mediocre but edible food. I love guacamole and I would rate theirs below average.
