The owner knows what my son likes. Honeydew with green straw. She makes sure that he gets the green drink, boba, and a green straw. For me, I like to try different things. My absolute favorite is coconut with boba and lychee jelly. There’s days when I want something different. So I try Lilikoi with coconut, taro with coconut(Kulolo), dragon fruit with boba & lychee jelly, & what ever else comes to mind. This place has the cheapest boba drink on Kauai. And it’s really clean.

I’m one of the few people from San Gabriel Valley(heart of Asian food and boba) who still would try boba in places that are not going to have good boba. The tiny island of Kauai did not have many selections for boba(obviously, because normal people eat shaved ice), but for the sake of trying boba in Kauai I came here. It wasn’t as bad as I thought! The milk tea didn’t taste ridiculously like powder, and the balls were pleasantly chewy. It is a very small place so you generally just come here for to-go orders, and most drinks are made from syrup. If I lived in Kauai and I had a boba craving, Kauai Boba would keep me happy.

Solid boba spot. I’ve had better boba before, but this place is as good as it gets on the island.

This place has one of the best boba drinks on the island. It’s a deal for $ 3.75 plus tax. It’s a pretty large size. The boba is cooked perfectly and they are always adding more flavors to the menu. Tried the pineapple boba and it had real pineapple. Yum.

Middle of the road milk tea. May have used a powder because I got a normal iced drink and she had to use the blender to mix something up :/ I wish they chilled the tapioca. Having a cold drink with warm tap is a little awkward :( 3.5÷5

This is by far my fave place to get my bubble drink. So far my fave flavors are strawberry and coffee — I need to try the other flavors. I also like that they have the regular tapioca balls or the mini mochi.

The boba is decently cooked, but their drink selections are ho-hum. I ordered a milk tea, disappointed that they don’t have options for things such as almond flavoring(and got a blank stare because they couldn’t communicate with me). The milk tea tasted like a powdered drink mix. This is definitely not a Tea Station for those that are familiar with it. My other half ordered a papaya mango smoothie — surprisingly they used actual fruit. They must have mixed in some type of milk/cream because it was very fattening tasting despite the fresh fruit. They added boba to that as well. Not sure how long this place will be able to stay open. May as well give it a try if you’re looking for boba!

Great boba place. Fresh boba… not too sweet but definitely refreshing. Reasonable prices– 3.75 for a large any size. Might have to wait a little bit if there are a lot of people since there’s only 1 – 2 people working but worth the wait. Came back twice during my visit.

Before my last trip back home… I seen a few of my friends post pictures of new boba’s from Kauai boba and I knew I had to try it no matter how rainy, cold and windy Kauai was. After having lunch and shopping with a friend this past Monday afternoon we decided to get a afternoon pick me up and came here. They are located right in Lihue, a few stores down from Subway. The place is very clean and spacious, owner there is really sweet and her 2 sons are also there helping her out. She sells a few snacks and soda’s as well and it’s cash only. Whenever I drink boba I normally get it iced instead of blended just because you can taste the milk tea better. I don’t care for tapioca balls so I prefer mines plain. We both got an iced milk tea(mines with no pearls) which was about $ 3 and some change for one… I believe it’s only 1 size which can be a good and bad thing. The milk tea is creamy, right amount of sweetness, refreshing and light. I also love the fact that they don’t add a lot of ice and that the drinks are all sealed with plastic at the top. Haven’t tried the rest of the flavors but my friends who have gone there has only said good things about it.

I’ve tried the honeydew and taro flavored boba drinks and loved it. I’ve also had boba drinks in Waimea for $ 4.40, where Kauai Boba sells their’s for only $ 3.25 each. In comparison, Kauai Boba’s drink is smoother, creamier, tastier and the tapioca pearls, are softer and not too chewy. I haven’t tried their iced coffee but that’s next on my list. I also love way they seal the top of the drink container, no lid needed, they seal it with plastic so you can take it to go and just pop in the straw when you get to your destination.
