Lowe’s

This is my neighborhood Lowe’s & I visit and shop there very often even though there is a Home Depot less than 5 miles down the street. I had a horrible experience with one of the managers at this location. His name was Albert, the CS rep did not have his last name. I purchased an item that was on sale but it did not ring up properly. Albert gave me a very difficult time before he honored the price that was actually POSTED on a label on the shelf where I picked the item up. I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated by Albert because I prefer Lowe’s over Home Depot but I may have to frequent Home Depot from now on because of the mistreatment by the management at Lowe’s. He definitely did not show professionalism & good customer service.

This is a fine location. We have picked up our Xmas tree here for the last two years and they are very reasonably priced. We also have stopped here a few times when we pass for random items for the house and the employees are nice and helpful. They also keep this store nice and organized and everything is easy to find. No complaints here!

We ask the contractor desk associate for help in cutting a piece of drywall. She told us that Lowes does not cut drywall and refused to call anyone up. We immediately left the store and went to our home location Lowe’s in snelllville where they cut and helped load the drywall.

I like Lowes a lot. They have nicer items but they are a little more expensive than home depot.
Lowes is to Target as Home Depot is to Walmart.
This particular Lowes has a good selection and the checkout is usually pretty quick. I’ve always received good service from them.

I’ll be the first to admit that I frequent home depot more often… not from loyalty, but more out of convenience. I just don’t come across that many Lowes, but it has a similar home depot set up with an equally friendly staff. I came here for some nitrile gloves and wasn’t sure if they (or home depot) would have them, but I was pointed in the right direction and got what I needed… in and out in under 5 minutes.
Nothing bad to say about this location or Lowes in general. I’ll visit again.

It’s nice to see how some things never change, with everyone going for the «new and improved, under new management, new coke or domino’s begging people to try them out again». this place has taken a stand. Unfortunately for the community the stand is «we suck, and we are perfectly fine with that». Why oh why didn’t I heed my own warning from my previous post and drive 5 minutes south to Home Depot?
