Los Hermanos has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for several years. Their salsa is rich and thick with plenty of cilantro. If you like spinach, I highly recommend the spinach enchilada(not sure it’s even on the menu, but ask for it.) The philly cheese taco is another favorite. Many excellent choices and excellent service. You won’t be disappointed!

I have been visiting this place for over 10 years. I have tried several things on the menu. Everything was great. Staff has always been great. My normal go to is the California quesadilla.

Work took me to Lilburn, GA for a couple of days and in my quest for some kick-ass lunch, Los Hermanos was highly recommended by those more familiar with the area. Since I only had 30 minutes to get in and get out, I didn’t have the opportunity to experience their sit-down service, but instead ordered take-out. I had no trouble finding the place by GPS, but it is somewhat inconspicuously hidden within an aging strip mall joint. It doesn’t look very welcoming, but at the same time it isn’t sketch enough for me to take off running either. Customer service was adequate, they weren’t rude by any means, but they weren’t trying to win any awards either. I can’t really complain though, they took my order quickly and even offered me a drink while I waited. Speaking of the wait time, my food was ready to go within 5 minutes. Very impressive! Food quality was very, very good. The locals know what they’re talking about. I ordered two asada tacos in a soft corn shell. Each taco had more than enough steak. The onions, cilantro, and green tomatillo salsa are prepared separately in to-go containers, allowing you to dictate the taste to your liking. All components blended well and were very satisfying. You also receive tortilla chips and salsa. The tortilla chips are fine and the salsa has a bit of a kick to it, which I like. Overall, I’m quite impressed with Los Hermanos. The take-out service was timely and the food was great, both portion-wise and in taste. If you ever are in our around Lilburn, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by.

This is the worst Mexican restaurant in Lilburn! Service is the worst, food sucks, the steak you feel like your chewing your shoe. I’ll never go back there. I’ll take Agavero cantina a thousand times! Good service, good prices, and good food.

This place is so hard for me to review. I find the service depressing most of the time and the other part of the time i find it lousy. One time, the server left during her shift and left us at the table. nobody was waiting on us, we could have just walked out. However, the food is so, so, so good and I find myself coming back. I love the tamales and the mole enchiladas. A true love/hate relationship.

I have been to many, many Mexican restaurants, from California to Texas to Indiana(right?) and even Lilburn, GA. Without a doubt, Los Hermanos is my absolute favorite. I can’t recall ever having had even an average meal from here. Their salsa is THE best you’ll find anywhere. Seriously, how do they make that?! The cilantro is divine. I love their burritos, including the pollo en rajas, and their veggie burrito. My dad is a fan of the burrito marisco(seafood). Their shrimp quesadillas are to die for. Their tacos are cheap and fantastic. Their queso is delicious. Honestly though, you can make a meal out of the chips and salsa. This place is the highlight of Lilburn’s otherwise largely lacking cuisine!

This location may be better than the one near Publix in Tucker but that’s not award worthy. Not always as crowded as the other either. That is the only good news. Food is still mediocre as well as the service. I love Mexican food and have been to some great restaurants so maybe my bar is set high but I will not tolerate bad service. I’m way to easy to please and go out of my way to be a good customer so when service is slow, orders are wrong and food is just okay… I’m done giving chances.

This is the best Mexican food I have ever, ever, ever had. I love the variety, service and freshness of the food. I have been coming here for over 13 years since I first started working in the area and have not tired of the menu. New specials are on the menu on a weekly basis and are always good. This place is not the traditional Mexican fare, so if you are looking for Pinto Beans, Spanish rice and a enchilada with red sauce you might be disappointed. If you are looking for a killer Fish or Steak taco, awesome chili verde sauce or a heavenly seafood burrito then this might be your place. The shrimp corn chowder has been a favorite in my family as well. Oh and by the way the salsa tastes like it was made 30 seconds before you walked in the door. You may be well on your way to full by the time the entrée arrives.

«If your reviews are sounding like essays, start a blog. I can’t read your life story on my phone before ordering from the menu.» [Time & Date of visit]: Saturday afternoon [Party Size]: 3 [Location/Ambiance]: They are located right in the corner of the aging plaza, behind the Boston Market. Parking: Plenty, though I think the lot has seen better days. Watch for potholes. I feel it’s easier to enter from Lawrenceville Hwy after passing Boston Market. When leaving, exit from Killian Hill rd entrance. Inside: The walls are adorned with high school and some middle school baseball teams. Wooden chairs paired with tables that can seat 4. The main dining section feels a little cramped and narrow. It’s a tight fit if you’re bringing a big group. [Service]: Promptly greeted upon entering and seated. A bit of altitude from the older lady server when asking to sub something. But not enough to destroy the experience. Water refills were so-so. [Food Highlights]: Table chips & salsa: Chips tasted pretty fresh, far from greasy & oily. The salsa would be a mild I believe, so everyone can enjoy even if your low on handling spicy food. Steak nachos: Eating prior before arriving, I decided to order this app just so the other two guests dining with me could munch and share among us. The steak was chewy and I feel over cooked. Other toppings were pretty generous though. Guacamole tasted fresh. The chips are the same as the one provided for the table. — Pretty good, but don’t order it with steak if your teeth are sensitive. {Summary}: Just another spot for a quick bite, before or after the gun range across the street. I’m willing to give this place another chance to see if my experience might be better a 2nd time around. But so far it’s just ok.

Our tennis team always goes there for our ‘end of season party’ and many of the neighbors go there on a regular basis. This is the last time for me after this experience. The service was slow, the beer was warm, and even with the cold glass they gave me, I added all the ice from my water glass and it still wasn’t cold. But the thing that really annoyed me is that the entrée salad with chicken gave a choice of two kinds of dressing. I wasn’t sure which would be better so I asked if they could bring both and put them on the side. They did bring two very small(1oz) tin cups, one of each kind. I was happy with the chicken. The salad was all lettuce and a tiny bit of chopped tomatoes. But then, they brought the bill and had charged me 95 cents for this tiny little container of dressing. They never told me ahead of time that there would be a charge and when I questioned it, he told me that is standard and they would not remove it. Really rude on top of it. How crazy is it that they will bring you a large container with unlimited refills of their salsa and chips, yet for a tee tiny container of dressing, they charge 95 cents?

They have an amazing Tres Lechés Cake. The cheese dip is good. Just not a fan of the concept, I think it’s too«Americanized» but I haven’t been in a while. Maybe the menu has been spiced up a little since then.

I grew up in this area but have since moved around the country(currently in Texas). Every time I visit home, I put in my vote for Taqueria Los Hermanos. The California Quesadilla is one of my favorite entrees on the menu. The vegetables are roasted perfectly and the flavor of the entire dish is nothing short of amazing. Everything I have tried at this restaurant has exceeded my expectations. The carne asada tacos are a second favorite — very traditional and generous with the onion and cilantro. Today I tried the Charro Bean Soup and it was incredible! Oh, the salsa. It’s pretty easy to get carried away shoveling salsa into your mouth with chips.

Awesome food. They have interesting dishes you don’t see everywhere else. My favorites are Tacos Al Pastor & Enchiladas Al Tamarindo. Plus they make a killer Habanero salsa!

Repeat after me children — Beef Brisket Enchilada I was referred here by one of those VERYPICKY friends who your are afraid to recommend anything to because they never like anything. He raved about the beef brisket, so I decided to give this place a try. The funny thing is, although my server said the brisket was good, HIS recommendation would be the Crab or Flank Steak enchilada. This of course sent me into stupid mode, that zone of thought where I couldn’t make up my mind over this conflict of recommendations for about 10 minutes. But in the end, I decided to go with my friends recommended and he didn’t disappoint(although I think I would have enjoyed my servers recommendations better). The restaurant was true hole-in-the-wall, very simple looking on the inside and EVERYONE of the tables seemed to be enjoying there food. The Beef Brisket enchilada was unlike any I’d ever seen. It came with grilled asparagus spears and a rich brown gravy that made this dish sing and dance in your mouth. After my recent disappointment in Pura Enchilada, this was exactly what I needed to restore my faith in Mexican cuisine. The rice was flavorful, the enchilada was terrific but I really want to make special mention of the grilled potatoes also included on this plate. They are absolutely heavenly, almost better than the enchilada itself. If you are like me and enjoy ALL the items on your plate swirling around your taste buds at the same time, eating this dish will remind you of having a slow cooked beef stew… with a Mexican twist of flavor. However, as much as I thoroughly enjoyed this dish, I can’t wait to return for the Crab or Flank Steak enchilada’s. Taqueria Los Hermanos is the real deal if you are looking to break out of the ordinary, everyday, mundane madness of Mexican joints that landscape this city. Like many places, some of the entrees here could likely be hit or miss, but these enchilada’s are on the money.
