One of the best secrets in the area. Great food very fresh, it is not uncommon to see them preparing green beans or other things right out in the dinning room. Very friendly staff. Great lunch buffet. The best general tso chicken around. Crispy spicy just how it should be. I can imagine anyone being disappointed going here. They stay busy, and can be crowded.

One of the better Chinese buffets I’ve been to. My mom suggested we come here and I’m always down to try a new spot(unlike my husband) so I jumped at the chance. I will say the choices are fewer than most Chinese buffets, however, the quality is much better. The Chinese donuts were nice and soft(I think my kids ate 5 each) & the food was hot and fresh. The food didn’t taste like it had sat out for hours like it does at some buffets. Everything was nicely stocked. Their desserts tasted MUCH better too. There was only 1 thing I didn’t like, and usually I dont like any of the desserts at Chinese buffets. If I lived closer, I would be a regular.

China Star isn’t amazing, but the food is cheap and made relatively fresh. The buffet had small amounts of a limited menu prepared. There’s nothing remarkable about this inexpensive Chinese take-out.
