Noticed that new management apparently took over so I thought I would give it a chance(again). Ordered takeout. Steamed dumplings okay but not great actually bland. Hot and sour soup was lacking some depth along with missing black fungus and tofu. Broth was gelatinous not a «brown broth». Overall a C–

Although China Dragon primarily bills itself as a buffet, I was drawn to its awkward drive-thru set up. Basically, the restaurant has set up a menu board and speakerbox with a driveway that runs directly across the front doorway. One of these days, either an eager diner or starving driver(or both) is going to collide with fatal consequences. Kung pow! Anyway, I drove up to the speakerbox and discovered it doesn’t really work. And there’s no drive-thru window. Instead, a worker runs out of the restaurant, across your hood and to your window, shouting, «How can I help you?!» Ordering would be easier if the menu had any descriptions of the uniquely named dishes. I went with Mongolian beef because it was familiar and cheap.($ 4.75 for a large serving with steamed rice) I handed the man $ 5, and he told me to wait five minutes. Wait … here? In the driveway? Should I drive to the side? Should I park my car? I decided to park nearby and wait. He returned with my food, forgot about my change and dashed off. The food was alright, nothing spectacular, but the experience was worth the bucks.
