We were visiting from out of town and found this place from Unilocal.Reviews were good so we gave it a try. This place has a variety of coffees and will let you sample if you inquiry. I had the Costa Rica blend which was a bright and tasty coffee. I had a large coffee which was $ 2.15.

Great coffee, better than anything else. Just wish a little cheaper and more coupons would be good. The drive thru kinda slow in morning so if you want some before work leave 15 min early maybe 20, waited that a few weeks back. I had a BOGO so I waited but would not have normally.

I’m not a big coffeeshop guy. We came here to see Sweetie’s friend perform, and it was a good place for that– comfy, decent acoustics(except for coffee grinding,) decent drinks. I had a smoothie and she had a latte; both were good. Prices seemed high to me for what we got. She liked the coffee though, and has had it before. There were also some baked goods.

Thanksgiving weekend = lots of food = lots of food comas. When you have a gluttonous lunch meal followed by an even more outrageous dinner where napping is not an option, you need a little perk-me-up. J and I were driving around Lima, eagerly hoping to come across the green siren and secretly wishing that we wouldn’t have to resort to caffeine from the golden arches. While Starbucks doesn’t seem to have made it to Lima yet(I am hopeful — they just got a 5 Guys and a Chipotle this year!), Biggby Coffee stepped in nicely. A lot of their menu looks to be very sweet coffee drinks(ala s’mores lattes and the like), but they do have a great selection of Harney & Sons teas and do make non-fat and soy lattes. This location even had Splenda! And glorious free WiFi, which was welcomed after a few days of the worst T-Mobile reception in history. Plus, their staff were the friendliest people I had encountered all weekend. I’m impressed, Biggby Lima! I’ll most likely be seeing you next Thanksgiving!
