Terrible food and worse service. I swear it gets worse every time I go there. I was even told that they couldn’t do their home fries well done, pretty sure all you need is heat to do that. Stay away stay far away. I’ll never go back

Wont be back. it’s a shame because the waiter was so nice, but the turkey club with French fries was pretty bad. First, It was way to small for the price(not that I would have eaten more) The turkey on the wrap tasted funny and the coleslaw was no better. Cmon, good coleslaw is the heart beat of any good diner… the fries were cold and tasteless. Cost– 10.50…wow… Sausage omelette with home fries not that bad… should have gotten that instead of the turkey club:) I never learn that when I’m at a new diner I should just go for the safe choice– breakfast…

Diner was clean and seated immediately. Only place open at time I went out so I tried it. Noisy group of kids in back but service was still ok. Food served quickly and was edible but not the best I’ve ever had. To be expected at a diner I guess. Paying at counter should have been more efficient pretty sure person never worked the register before ao someone should have been assisting. Wouldn’t be my first choice agaon but in a pinch I guess it’s ok.

We came here at 3 pm on a Saturday, this was our second time at this diner. I had the Yankee pot roast with potato pancake, and a carrot spiced beet dish. You do get a lot of food for $ 17. I also received a salad and seafood soup. The carrot spiced beet dish was good. The service is good. If you are looking for a place that serves lots of food at a good price, then this is it. I do recommend selecting one of their specials.

What happened to this place? First, we walked in and were ignored for 5 minutes. Not even an «I’ll be right with you». It was not busy. There were 4 of us. We were seated to a sticky table and dirty silverware. We asked for new silverware and it took ten minutes. She finally took our drink order and came back about 5 min. later. We were then given menus. She came back and we ordered our food, a salad, a hot roast beef sandwich, eggs, sausage and toast, and a chicken parm. 40 minutes later, our food arrived. The eggs were cold, as was the toast. The sausage was overcooked and like chewing rubber. The hot roast beef sandwich was cold, but besides the grizzly meat, had some flavor. The chicken parm was bland, the spaghetti that came with it was so watery that the entire plate was just covered in water. The salad actually had wilted lettuce and pretty much, that was unedible. How do you mess up salad? Obviously our food was not going to be eaten. We had just wasted our time and money. We would have sent some things back had the waitress actually come back! She talked to coworkers at the counter the entire time about looking for another job. We got up to pay for our food, stood waiting another 5 min. for someone to realize we were there, but they didn’t, I had to walk over and get someone. She actually asked if everything was okay. I was livid. We will not be back or recommend this place.

We’ve been here 3 times, most recently with a large group for Sunday brunch. We’ve never had a problem, breakfast has always been good. They were great with our kids and our large group. French toast was delicious. My kids love the Mickey Mouse pancakes.

The food is beyond the pale, it is flavorless and you can tell they microwave it as it comes out so hot you will burn your mouth. The prices they charge for a dinner is not worth the antacids you will need in about an hour of consumption. I would only recommend this place for an early morning breakfast. How could they mess up eggs? Oh they can, oh they can…

We went there with my daughter and 5 year old grandson. They did not have anything to keep the child entertained(out of crayons) and we had to wait over 50 minutes for our food. After the first half hour, the waiter said that a party of 40 was at the restaurant, apologized for the delay and said just a few more minutes. Yea, right. 20 more is not a few minutes with a bored and hungry 5 year old. Nor did the waiter bother to refill our coffee. Everything was overdone. I had the breakfast burrito and it was like a thin layer of eggs and a few, tiny pieces of sausage smeared on a tortilla then so overdone it was like glop. Horrible. And all of our food was cold or luke warm in addition to being overdone. When I paid the check, we told them of our poor experience and they were totally apathetic. There are lots of diners and breakfast places in this area. So they will not see us back there. I only wish I read a few of these reviews on Unilocal before we went there.

I haven’t been to this diner for at least 5 years. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll go back. I had an omelet and the bacon and veggies in it were chopped so big I couldn’t enjoy it. The veggies were also undercooked. The potatoes were burnt. My kids ordered«kids pizza». They were horrible. Whoever rolled the dough had no idea what they were doing. Half of each pie was so thin it never came off the tray. Also the«kids» size was a medium pizza. If it were done properly it would’ve been great for the $!!! The service was below standards of any diner. She sat two tables away from us and talked forever. I told my wife to get up and leave with the kids and I’d wait for the check. I asked to wrap up some stuff and she never came back. Just sat there talking. I couldn’t stand it any longer and left the food. I still left $ 8 on a $ 53 check. Not 20% but it was a $ 10 before I took back $ 2. I think it had a lot to do with our timing. 2pm is always a tough hour in the restaurant business. I know because I spent 25 years doing it.

Complete honesty: the food is bad.(So bad that at night the only 100% agreed upon safe option is toast.) The service is fine if you’re not in a rush nor expecting a lot. Breakfast is bearable, but not outstanding in a town with a lot of options. The point of the Limerick Diner is that it stays open 24⁄7 and they won’t pester you if you want to sit at one of the tables for hours. Use it like this and you won’t be disappointed.

Our family went to the diner many times when I was younger. Once the management changed, the quality fell off of a cliff. It’s never been the same, regardless of the meal(breakfast or lunch/dinner). It’s really upsetting; there were times when you would ask to go there because of the amazing breakfast or good meals. Now, we have no choice but to avoid this place because of the quality.

Happened to be in the area last night. Needed something to nosh on. Can’t resist trying a diner I haven’t tried before. All I had here was a bowl of oatmeal with banana, grilled buttered corn muffin, and a large OJ. Of those three items, I would definitely eat that corn muffin again. It was huge and tasty. The oatmeal was huge too, but just ok. I’ve had better orange juice in other diners, I’ve also had worse. They made almost 10 bucks off of me on that little meal. Seemed a bit high for what I got. It wasn’t bad. I’ve had worse. I’ve had better.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a diner. We ordered breakfast and it was disgusting! The service was very slow… Waited over 15 minutes to get my coffee and I had to ask hostess to get our server. Will never go back.

I’ve been eating a the Limerick Diner for years, simply because it’s close. I have to say, though, there’s always been something going on with the place that I haven’t been able to shake off. I know, it’s my fault for continuing to go there, but I believe in giving a place multiple chances. I ordered a hamburger, French fries, and chocolate milk(it is National Chocolate Milk day today, after all.) My companion had mozzarella sticks and a cocktail. The grand total was over $ 28.00. Even if this had been the best diner burger I’ve ever gotten in my life it wouldn’t have been worth it. Which this wasn’t. It was a perfectly ordinary hamburger, with a potato roll. Even the fact that they got my order correct(medium rare, no cheese, cut in half) couldn’t make up for the Not Worth it-Ness of this burger. The French fries were a little underdone, which I actually like, but there weren’t a whole lot of them. Our waiter didn’t refill our drinks. He shouted at us if we needed anything one time as he walked by. The whole thing reeked of effort. I think it’s time I stop giving this place a chance.
