I’ve been coming here since high school! Cute cozy atmosphere, love the Music and my two favorite drinks are the lemon velvet frappé and the mocha are to die for!!! It’s a great spot to sit and enjoy your morning coffee:)

Serving the incredible«CAFFEUMBRIA» COFFEE, it is not weak. The business has been here for 25 years… must say something for their quality and service. Great mochas, specialty drinks, home made flavorec whipped creams, and the BEST mexi mochas around. The guy who said the coffee was weak I am wondering why he only had posted one review since he started back in 2014. Strange. Also, got to say it’s the best clam chowder on the coast, and I mean that.

If you’re the kind of person who uses coffee purely as a vehicle for milk and sugar, then perhaps this place might be ok. If you actually enjoy coffee itself, then you might want to try someplace else. The drip brew was dilute, and it was hard to tell if the almond milk in my latte was a tad burned(which is admittedly easy to do, as almond milk has a lower boiling point) or if the espresso just tasted bad. The service was good. The pastry options were varied and bountiful, if largely prepackaged, but they included several gluten free options. The atmosphere was cluttered and a bit cramped, as this is also a store for miscellaneous kitchen accessories. If there were no other options in Lincoln City then maybe I’d come back, but even the Starbucks in the Safeway next door seemed like a better option, and I am loathe to go to Starbucks.

The shop was full of amazing culinary toys and snacks. As for the coffee… Meh don’t go in with high expectations. I am used to some of the lovely shops that serve Coava or stories… I think this one serves Boyd’s– not sure. If it is– yay because it’s local-ish. Though I wasn’t a huge fan of the coffee they had great service! It was a friendly experience. The lady was very nice and accommodating. My hubby grabbed a caramel and they had a great selection of biscotti. If you are simply looking for coffee go elsewhere. Great shop to look around in or buy gifts for family and friends.

Stopped in here and was amazed at what I found. Great iced salted caramel latte, amazing carrot cake muffin and beautiful kitchen items and gifts. If I had time I could have spent hours and many dollars in this place! A must see for anyone coming through this area. The service was very good also.

After a romantic beach getaway, all my husband and I wanted was a little coffee before we rolled out of Lincoln City. While we waited for Java Depot employee Lana to make the coffee, our eyes wandered to the refrigerated case that held meats and cheeses. My husband and I are lovers of both! Lana was great with recommendations, and weaved her product knowledge into conversation in a way that was friendly and funny. Slicing two small knots of fresh mozzarella for my husband and I, she answered questions, and suggested great pairings. We picked up a Boar’s Head meat and cheese sampler, some triple cream brie, a package of soppressata(dry salami) and a portion of the fresh mozzarella that Lana invited us to try. The entire store was awesome! So many books, condiments, gifts, snacks and cooking utensils, all specialty. We walked out with so much more than coffee, but felt like we were taking a bit of the Oregon Coast back home with us. Even though we had never been to the Java Depot before, it will be a regular stop for us whenever we go to Lincoln City, which is often! Meeting Lana was such a great way to end our trip. Even though we had just met her, it was like we had known her for years. We enjoyed our items very much… all delicious! Thank you, Lana… and thank you, Java Depot!

Excellent coffee, you can tell they take the time to make a good drink. Quality ingredients and very sweet lattes. Carrot cake cupcake was also very tasty. If you’re looking for a sweet drink, this is the place!

I don’t like my coffee drinks too sweet, so I’m giving it a 3 for the coffee and a 5 for the shop itself. A great place to find all the accouterments for making gourmet coffee and desserts.

I love this little shop in Lincoln City. Been getting Mochas here for years(ignoring the Starbucks in the neighboring Safeway of course). This time mine was iced with chocolate whipped cream and a yummy chocolate stick poking out the top of it. YUM. Worth the weight watchers points for sure. There are great little treasures and food gifts here, lots to look at, and the people who man the counter are super nice. Princess had a yummy butter cookie, and FIL had a ham and cheese melty wrap thing. Delish!

They see us coming every time… the sales staff knows our likes and preferences, and we anticipate being surprised every time. Great selection of good cookware and kitchen accessories, as well at fun cookbooks to keep or gift to those you find deserving.

This place has really good soup! Didn’t expect to get such a good soup in a coffee joint. AND their coffee is superb! Best lemon bars I have ever had. I love to browse their excellent collection of cookbooks!

The only way this place would be better is if they had more food options. But they have a fun selection of exotic cheese in the cooler that I just loved. And some fun kitchen tools that I got for gifts, not to mention expresso goodies.
