The food was great and the staff super friendly. The only negative thing about our experience was there wasn’t a host or hostess so we had to wait for 5 minutes before someone even noticed we were there. It was the lunch hour so it may be very different when they are busy

Great meal and drinks tonight. I requested a lighter battered Chili Relleno and it was perfect and ask for Bris. She rolls her R’s the proper way and we loved her,

The best fajitas and top shelf margaritas around! The fajita sampler platter is my favorite!

4.5 stars for food but 1 star for our waitress. I think her name is Maria. she was very rude. All the other servers were nice. I’ll still go back there but make sure Maria is not our waitress.

**METALPEICESINFOOD*** Went to casa ramos several nights ago, probably our fifth time in. This was our first time not getting yesenia(great service) as our waitress. And it was a TERRIBLE experience. unfortunately i didnt get this waitresses name. But she had attitude the minute we came in. I told myself to stop being so quick to judge. Then the food came. I couldve sworn i ordered the chimichanga but she argued with me and said i ordered the enchilada. After making it clear the enchilada wasnt what i wanted she said well you ordered it, and i decided to just eat it since i wasnt 100% sure i didnt misorder. Then, i begin to eat and found metal in my food! The kind of metal peices that youd see on scrubbing device. Upon further investigation my spouse found 2 on their plate, so 4 pieces total! Granted she said sorry, she could not have sounded more annoyed. No manager was ever brought to our table. She simply said oh sorry, what do you want to do. So we payed for the single beer we drank and left our plates untouched. Id think they could atleast waive the cost of the beer, but no. And to top it off, i caught her glaring at us through the window as we left! Although ive went several times before with no problems, this experience has been enough for me to never return. If you do decide to eat there. Watch whats in your food!

Just ate breakfast there and was charged dinner prices. Brought to the attention of the manager and was told lunch menu is Monday through Friday. I replied that i ate breakfast. He refused to adjust the bill. I hope the extra 6 dollars was worth losing a customer. I will not be stolen from. This is wrong.

Mediocre is the perfect word for this place. It reminds me of one of those places you see on the T.V. Show Bar Rescue. The last time I was here 3 of my 6 family members had varying levels of food poisoning. I decided to give this place another chance. I made the mistake of ordering the chicken taquitos. I should have carefully looked at the menu pictures. My fault chicken taquitos is actually a lightly fried chicken burrito. The fajitas were ok. I ate the steak but the chicken was bland and awful tasting. I ordered a skinny Rita with Milagro Blanco. No Milagro the server offered me other tequilas. I chose Don Julio. The first Margarita was good. I watched them make it as I was sitting next to the bar. My husband ordered me a second margarita. The server told the bartender to put soda water on the top after he was done making it. When I asked her what it was they put in the second margarita she said soda water. She lied and said it was in the first one and I liked the first margarita right?! I left the full margarita on the table and paid my tab. The check said Elva was my server. A little advice to the server: Don’t try to lie to people. Especially a women who bartends for a living and has worked in the industry for 15years. I will never return to this place!

It was just OK. Went there on a Friday night. Not sure what to expect, but expected more for the price point. Service was just mediocre. For this price point, I would have expected more.

Horrible. My water cup was brought out with lipstick marks. Disgusting! Ordered chicken tortilla soup but there was no soup in my soup? How does that make sense? They basically gave me a bowl of tortillas. I definitely will not be returning.

If you come here on a weekend(Friday-Sunday) night ask to be seated in Kasey’s or Antonio’s section! Both really good waiters!

It’s been 5 years since we’ve given Casa Ramos another try. The food was fine, but the interior needs a top to bottom cleaning. I really couldn’t concentrate on the food as I was so concerned how clean the kitchen was and if I was going to end up sick. It’s truly dirty and needs a professional cleaning top to bottom including the carpets. I even took picture of their HVAC ceiling registers/vents that are dusty and black. Our philosophy is, if they can’t keep the front of the house clean, how’s the kitchen. We won’t be back. :(I’m sure they could be busier if the restaurant had some attention focused on the day-to-day cleaning. I will be writing their corporate office. Let’s see if I receive a reply this time. Care to guess if they do?

Honestly I was very surprised Lincoln could have a good chain Mexican food place. Oh and it not be packed on days like mothers day or when a game is on? Maybe I should write a bad review so nobody comes here… Food is decent Mexican food, several different kind of beans refried, black, cholesterol free, Mexican. I’ve had the Mexico city tacos both times I’ve came here because they’re really good. I have to say carnitas is the best. I’ll scarf down three tacos in under 5 minutes. Drinks are also delish. The margaritas is huge huge huge. Wish I took a picture, but I’m sure someone else already uploaded one. This is my Mexican food join here in Lincoln now. Why four stars if it’s my favorite? Ahh good questions it’s a chain. But it’s a small town chain. Redding, red bluff, mt Shasta, Folsom are a few other locations. And yes that does take away a star.

My wife and I normally just come here for chips, salsa and margaritas. But the last few times I have gotten this wonderful slop. I say slop because it looks like vomit. Like I seriously ate a chicken and a container of salsa then threw it all up. But for whatever reason it tastes so good. It is chicken, onions and mushrooms in a creamy tomato sauce. You can put it a tortilla or just eat it with a fork. It is a cool place, but really can get pricey. Never leave without a pretty big bill.

Sat at the bar and the bartender is rude to customers and makes horrible drinks. My suggestion is to run for the hills

My family loves this place! I could live off the chips and salsa, and it’s free! Pollo fundido and fajitas for 2 are my favorites. The pollo fundido is like three tiny chicken burritos with cheese smelted over the top! Perfect for my kids to share, and it’s nice and soft so when I had my braces tightened it was tender enough to eat! The fajitas are really great. My wife and I will get the fajitas for 2 and we can never eat it– but the leftovers are always amazing the next day! They are solid with their wait staff and always keep our drinks full. They are always friendly and have the margarita ready for my wife when we walk in the door. :) top shelf for the lady please! Even if they are packed they have a nice little waiting area. If you ever need food to go– just call then on your way back up to Lincoln from roseville and they are so conveniently located you can pick it up on your way home just off 65! .

This is my second time here and I’m a little disappointed. It took about 5 minutes for them to come to the front to seat me and then it took another 20 minutes before they asked what I wanted to drink, and then another 10 before they took my order. The chips are flavorless and the salsa isn’t that great. I ordered two bean burritos with rice and beans. Although I got my food in decent time, I couldn’t eat right away because my fork had food on it from a previous customer and when I called a waitress over and showed her, she rudely grabbed it from me and didn’t come back for a few minutes. All and all the food tasted decent although it was a little cold when I received it and the rice was undercooked. I’ll probably come again. But hope to have a better experience next time.

Came here for lunch today. Interesting décor with sunflowers everywhere. I did get a feel for the Mexican ambiance. The food came out piping hot. I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga for lunch. It came with rice and beans. All three aspects of the meal were ok… but I’ve had better tasting Mexican food at Los Altos in Roseville. Bright sides included a salsa with some kick and very clean bathrooms. The service, like the food, was ok. They were very friendly but absent at times.

We’ve been back on several occasions and the quantity and quality has been much improved! Yay! The food has been significantly improved and more generous than on our previous visits. Casa Ramos is probably one of three places in town that has a Happy Hour in which you can go to with a group.
