I dig this place, It’s big, they got sports on, they got cheap drinks, they got good bartenders, they got fairly clean bathrooms for a rock n roll club! The sound is good and loud, the sound engineer was great! I like how the bar room is separated from the performance space, so if you just want to hang in the bar and not watch the band you can do that! Or vice versa! They get big names here, cause the room is good sized! Todd Rungrend recently played here and actor Jeff Daniels is coming up soon! I have played here a few times and both times is was great about 7 years apart! Not much changed over the 7 year, but why fix what ain’t broken! They have 35 cent taco Thursdays’s! As well as other drink specials! Lincoln has a lot of great music venues and this is a fairly grand mid size 300 cap room!

Bartenders are awesome. Sound could be a little better.

Saw Cloud Nothings here on 07/15/2014. This is a great bar for bands. I think it’s only drawback is that they are located a bit off of the beaten path. I don’t mind, but it doesn’t make for an easy to stop in and have a drink locale either.

After realizing I’ve been to hundreds of venues on tour it occured to me that I have severely neglected my venues list. So I guess I gotta get started: Knickerbocker’s was rad and I don’t think Lincoln is a big Unilocaling town so I thought I’d penetrate their opinion-sphere. I played there for the first time almost a year ago and although it was only to a handful of people we pretty much already knew, it was a good time all around. I think I had a PBR or Miller after the set, I don’t quite remember but the vibe and layout was awesome. Real woody I’d say… The Chipotle nearby that the promoter got the bands was phenomenal, especially considering I had been starving for the past month. The one quasi-tough part was loading in and out… It was one of those frenzied double parking scenarios but considering everyone in Lincoln has to go to sleep early so they can water their corn and tip cows in the morning meant empty streets at night. Good sound, nice lights. But no where to really strike and store your gear. Also the merch table situation was a little on the difficult side. Either way, good venue.
