Great selection of records! You can find just about anything your looking for. However, everything is WAY overpriced. I dug around for an hour and didn’t see a single album that was priced right.

Recycled Sounds is one crazy record store! The guys who work in here are legendary for telling stories, selling things at internet prices, and having a lot of chaos in the store! I have been here a few times now, I love how jam packed full of stuff it is! And they always have some really hard to find or weird stuff. But it’s always way to expensive! They sell stuff at what people try to sell stuff on THEWORLDWIDEWEB,(slightly bigger market) then Lincoln, NE. But who cares right, they are fun to talk too, they have great stories about seeing ELO on both American tours, seeing the DOORS and they play the records of these bands in the store just so people ask about them and they can tell stories! If you got a couple hours to waste this is a great spot to go, not only for the stories but if you are actually looking for something this is not the easiest record store to find it in, but there is a good chance they have it, but its in the wrong section or under a pile of other goodies! This last time I was here, I found a used copy of Achtung Baby on cd and I told my friend he should buy it for 5 bucks and he was like I will, but then the cd was not in the case, and it was supposed to have a number on the inside so the owners of the store could find what case the actual cd was in and the number had been removed so they had no clue where the cd was. But did offer to sell us the case without the cd. I do really like going in here, It’s kinda a magical old store that still has Oasis subway size posters on the wall, and the stories you hear are gold even if they might be fabricated a bit! Don’t ruin a good story by telling the truth!

Large record store that carries predominately used titles, some of which are very rare. Huge selection of obscure 7″ records, especially hardcore punk and alternative titles. They also carry stickers, hand bills and posters. They owner is very nice and will help you dig out a record if need be. Parking in front of the store is metered, but he meters take credit cards. 90 minute max, which isn’t very long if you plan on doing some serious digging. I would have rated this store 5 stars if they carried new titles as well.

The guy running the store is very talkative. you will spend a lot of time digging through the stacks. it’s like going through a garage sale. some rare stuff here, lots of records in sub par condition.

You seriously can’t find record stores like this anymore. TONS of old records, VHS, Laserdiscs, even 8-tracks — and so so many posters! And everything’s stacked so high or buried, when you find something you want you’ll feel like you’ve really unearthed something special.
