Phicka Phở Phicka Phở Phicka Phicka Phở Phở. This is the real deal. I had a bowl last night and it made my bad day go away. I’d go back today, but they are closed on Tuesday.

this is some of the VERY best phở broth I’ve ever had. WARNING a large is VERYVERYVERY large. I could eat here every day and be happy. I always get the same thing at any phở place just as a «test» beef phở with sliced rare beef. I can’t say enough about how spectacular this booth was. yum yum yum times 1000. go here now. I just stopped through on a road trip and wish this place was in my hometown.

Fantastic phở and the rice noodle bowls are also very good. The broth is the best in town(in my opinion) and you can get multiple add-ins to spice it up if you choose to do so. You can select your protein from a variety of different meats and my personal favorite is the well-done flank. For beef options, they also have eye of round steak, meatball, and tendon. The additional toppings(sprouts, basil, limes, jalapenos) are always fresh and flavorful. The spring rolls are also very good, with a delightful peanut sauce. They have one table that seats larger parties, and I have comfortably came here with a party of 8. The service is fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable and you can choose between a small, medium, or large bowl of phở. Overall, this is my favorite place to come for phở and I will only go elsewhere if my craving happens to be on a Tuesday(they are closed on Tuesdays).

The service is extremely bad!!! There was one time when I was dining with my Muslim friend and we had clearly told the waiter that she couldn’t eat any pork in the spring rolls when ordering, but he didn’t pay attention to it. When the dishes were served, it has pork in it so I told the waiter but he turned out to be rude and whining about me not telling him(but I did). Then during the check out, he mentioned it again and kept asking me why I didn’t tell him in the beginning without even listening to my explanation. I’m really fed up with the services regardless the quality of the food.

The phở is excellent and more vegetables accompaniment than vau tau. The prices is reasonable but the spring roll is not as good as Vau tau. I think there is less MSG here which is good for me. Some people might want a more enhanced flavor. The service is definitely better and more professional. The only thing is I do not like the hue style beef noodle here. It is grease and the soup really doesn’t do it for me.

YUM. I dream of their number 32. It’s probably my top 3 favorite places to eat in Lincoln.

Awesome Phở and beef and shrimp spring rolls. Grams in the kitchen sure knows what she’s doing here. Excited to go back and try something new and different!

I came from Houston, Tx where authentic vietnamese restaurants are everywhere. We are regulars at Vung Tau on Y St. at 27th St(just down the street) because Vung Tau is truly authentic. We tried Phở Nguyen that day when Vung Tau was closed. We actually had tried this restaurant before but were not satisfied at all but we wanted to give them another chance. But this time we were even more disappointed. Their portions are small especially the meat for the price. We ordered extra pig feet for $ 1.5. On the menu, it shows«pig feet(1) — $ 1.50. When the phở came, I only saw 1 thin slice of pig feet with a few tiny bits of pig skins and meat. I didn’t see another slice of pig feet. So we asked the waitress. She told us they only give an extra slice of pig feet when people ordered extra pig feet. the«(1)» quoted next to pig feet meant 1 slice. That was very ridiculous for the price they charged. But what I got wasn’t even 1 slice. I got a few tiny bits of skins. I told her we would never order extra again. Come on, pig feet is not that expensive. This place is too stingy on their ingredients. We will NEVER go back. We LOVE Vung Tau. Their staff is friendly and professional. Their portions are good. Their dishes are very tasty. Even when they are closed, we will go eat something else than giving business to this place.

One star for bad services. I nerve been to PHo nguyen before my friends told me came their restaurant to try out. When I came to their restaurant nobody said hi or ask our how many people. Then we just choose one table next to the door. I look around see they have 3 table the customer left already, but nobody clean and a fly everywhere. it really dirty. Then one men come ask what you want? what the heck he mean what we want? we want they want food mean. i don’t know did he know how to services customer? I’m a nice person cause when i talking to vn people i will talk vn to them. i don’t want to be rude, then i call one phở and bun bo hue that just laughing at me. I think he thought i don’t speak English or what the hell wrong with him? why he laugh? or he crazy. Then later the food come out he didn’t said any thing like do you want any thing more or even just say enjoy? then he forger the coffee i said to him you forger my coffee he just said come in like yell at me? what wrong with this restaurant. ok let think he hate me ok. but why and if you hate your customer but you have to be professional with you customer. i dont think i do any thing wrong with him. if you can read this review i think you so fool dont know how to make a tip. at then end, nobody give me a bill i have to what in the counter ask for the bill and he just said 20.68. i can give him a tip but i dont want too cause he didnt serviecs me any thing, but if i dont give him a tip he though me cheap. that why i give him 2 $ for money he need to learn how to be professional if not dont services people any more. NERVECOMEBACKTHERE.

Excellent phở bowls. Multiple sizes to fit any appetite as well as a great selection. The spring rolls are excellent too. Served with a great peanut sauce. Will definitely be returning here again.

Best Vietnamese beef noodle soup I’ve ever had. Plan to go back again. The spring rolls are awesome. The staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is nice. This place just might be a weekly place for me to go.

Had a craving for phở, and used Unilocal to narrow the field to Phở Nguyen. In a strip mall off of main thoroughfare, so was easy to find. Ordered a small #4(flank and tendon), and it soon arrived. Very rich broth, succulent beef, tasty noodles, and a generous amount of side veggies. Very reasonable, very tasty. Someplace to recommend and repeat the next time business brings me back to Lincoln!

I was driving through Lincoln today on my way back to Orange County, CA from Chicago. I got the Com Heo Nuong(roast pork rice plate), and I have to say that I was surprisingly pleased! My mom had the Mien Ga(chicken noodle soup). She was satisfied that this ol’ place had Mien Ga. The décor of this place is a few decades old, but the food was legit. Would come back here… one day.

Very delicious phở! Meat is flavored a bit different compared to vung tau, but it’s great to support local restaurants! Will definitively be back once I return to Lincoln.

Best phở in town, heck best soup period in town. We only get there every few months but the waiter always remembers us.

Some of the best phở in town! I got the medium #4, phở with ribeye steak and tenderloin, which cost like $ 7.55. Put some plum sauce and a tiny bit of sriracha in there and it’s perfect. Their egg rolls are absolutely delicious, especially with plum sauce or fish sauce. If you look at the drink menu, you’ll see #10 which says something like«grass coconut drink» or something. Sounds weird, but trust me, it’s awesome. It’s just like boba tea but with ice. It’s a real casual place but it’s so good. Definitely put it up there with Vung Tau.

Best phở in town hands down. Nice rich, meaty broth. Much better than Phở Factory down the street. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they close at 7:30.

#1 Vietnamese place in Lincoln for Phở as compared to #2 Vung Tau and #3 Green Papaya. {Vietnamese Noodle Soup — Phở} Broth tasted like it’s been simmering overnight giving way to a complex, developed flavor. Just enough sweet, just enough salt, just enough love. Who knows how much MSG is in it, but who cares when it’s good. You have an option of a small, medium, or large bowl. On regular days I can kill a medium and possibly finish a large if I don’t order bubble tea. The ratio of broth: noodle:meat is just right. Although the side herbs were a bit wilted. {Vermicelli Noodles w/Grilled Pork & Egg Rolls} YUMYUMYUM! I repeatedly come back for this dish. It is layered with fresh bean sprouts, julienned lettuce, cucumbers, and carrots. Then they add the vermicelli noodles and top with a nice helping of grilled pork and egg roll. Finish off with few big spoonfuls of fish sauce, some peanuts, and you’ve got yourself a refreshing well balance meal. What I really like about this dish is the way everything is sliced. It allows for each chopstick grab to include each ingredient, so each mouthful contains noodle, beef, egg roll, vegetables, and peanuts… or maybe… I just have a big mouth: D {Bubble Tea/Smoothie/Shake} I always order the Durian flavored smoothie. They don’t use powder like some other places, they actually use the real fruit! MMMMmmmmm GOOD! I LOVEIT! There you have it. I really enjoy Phở Nguyen and grab a bite to eat whenever I get the chance. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending people to try it out. (Not a 5 star just yet. Will update as needed)

I really don’t like this place. Compared to the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, this place is pretty crappy. I had the Com Thit Nuong and a Honey Dew Bubble Tea. The rice was very soggy and the meat was too fatty to eat. There wasn’t enough fish sauce to cover my plate. Also, my bubble tea tapioca pearls were not cooked through. It was very hard in the middle, and gross. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because the service was halfway decent.

Love their Phở. The soup is clear and mild, meats are not smelly and gross looking. If I want to eat Bun(noodles without the soup), I go somewhere else because I am not fond of Phở Nguyenn’s BBQ flavor. The staff are friendly and the place is relatively clean. I love the fact that they have three different sizes for Phở. Unlike many eateries, they are closed on Tuesday so you need to be careful.
