Super Saver

Everything is pretty cheap here, and they match competitors. Not as fun a shopping experience as Trader Joe’s or even HyVee, looks like most discount grocery stores do, and they don’t have some specific items I like, but it’s inexpensive and has a wider selection than Walmart.

Been here more times then I count. When I go up to visit one of my bestfriends we always seem to come here to do our grocery shopping. We always find what we come in for and you cant beat the price. The vitamin isle isn’t very big, but you can never go wrong in the food isles. They even have the barrels full of candy that you can choose from, which is delicious.
The service is wonderful and the workers are really friendly.

Great meat department and smokehouse some of the best smoked meat you’ll find anywhere. Deli department is just ok frankly other stores are better. Produce is average to above average some items are really good and some items are not good it tends to be seasonal but that’s typical. Wine and spirits selection is fairly decent but to be honest not nearly as big as ivy or other liquor stores like the still but they do have the staples and certainly more options than Target or Walmart. Like most stores you need to watch their ads as they do tend to have fairly good deals in their ads. Good prices but it pays to shop around. They do match competitors ads and beat them by a penny but you have to watch some items as Target or Walmart will be cheaper. There is no rhyme or reason as to some items will be the cheapest at Super Saver some items are cheaper at Target some items are cheaper at HyVee although most of the time Super Saver beef IV but only beats Walmart or Target about half the time. Overall it’s an above-​average store but not by much that’s why I think 3 stars is it justified reading for super saver location is great though in the south side of town
