I had the prime rib cooked to medium. When served was pretty pink. Also the cut of meat they are serving is pretty fatty. My wife had the jack Daniels sirloin and they nailed it very juicy. Cooked to the color and the sauce. Yum. We had a table of five and mine was the only not truly cooked through. Almost had a 5 star.

I have been here 3 times. The first 2 times were amazing. It was mine and my boyfriends favorite place. Tonight I went there and my boyfriend got a steak with hashbrowns and a salad. The salad was a lot smaller this time then it used to be. The steak was also a little over cooked, but still pretty good. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries. The waitress asked if I wanted pink or no pink. I asked for a little pink. When it came out I got a burnt cheeseburger(no bacon) with a side of veggies. The waitress did get me some fries after I pointed it out and she was very kind. I was a little disappointed about the quality of the food this time, but maybe it was just a bad night or they had someone new in the kitchen.

We were warned to come hungry and was that ever so RIGHT! Here’s an idea of the orders that we chose: A 18 ounce T-bone steak with a baked potato that was huge and piled with butter… Plus A large salad which comes with three extra ingredients of your choice. The other order was an 8 ounce filet mignon, bacon wrapped. It also came with a baked potato plus that huge salad. I ate all of mine!!! You can see what is left of the T-bone. Mary was our server and she was totally on the ball, fast but took time when you had a question or some advice. Since this was our first time there she explained how they were different in regards to your choices in the salad, the type of lettuce we wanted, what type of cheese, etc. She was there checking on our needs frequently and the smile never left her face. Well I take that back… She was a little shy about getting her picture taken. There is music in the restaurant area and a football game in the bar… everything where it should be in my humble opinion. We are hooked! Try it out… You can get hooked, too!

Yum… yum…yum! First time dining at this restaurant located in Lincoln NE. The atmosphere was very nice, music was good and our server was engaging. We had two Jack Daniels steaks and built our own salads. Very tasty! Large portion size and quality food for the price. We had one minor issue with one steak and the server did a good job at taking care of the situation leaving us satisfied. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice and filling dinner, priced well for a steakhouse.

Let me start off by saying I am a bit of a steak snob. I have been blessed to be able to frequent some of the best steak houses in Texas(I live there). I was very skeptical of this place at first… Boy did they prove me wrong! One of the best bone in ribeye steaks I have ever had! Staff was great, salad was amazing, and just an overall great experience. Yes a good steak is expensive. But honestly the steak I had here beat out many that I have paid double what they charge here Great job guys, I am a big fan now!

I rarely buy steaks at restaurants because I can cook a mean steak! This is the first time I will legitimately admit defeat… Best seasoned steak I’ve ever had! The salad before hand could feed a horse so bring your appetite! Their cinnamon butter puts Texas Roadhouses to shame!!! Love this place!

Great place, new to Lincoln but I’d eaten at their restaurant in Grand Island and always had good food, great service & reasonable prices. They let you design your own salad with your choose of lettuce &5 ingredients(as many more as you want for an extra charge). My wife had the sirloin skillet & salad & I had the 1# of shrimp with vegetables grilled. Total w/20% tip was $ 50.00 Highly recommended… A bucket of peanuts awaits you at your table too!

I have been there twice since it opened had the bone in rib– eye and the 16oz filet both were cooked perfectly medium rare best steak house in Lincoln hands down service is spot on rolls are fresh and hot and build your own salad is better than salads you get at any salad bar you pick what you want on it and they prepare it’s and served in a very cold stainless steel bowl and you have as much as you want without everybody and there dog coughing and sneezing all over a regular salad bar I’m picky about my food and the way a place looks Texas T-bone is clean and well run the whiners who give a bad review probably work at one of there competitors it’s great and I’m going there tonight and have the 2 pound bone in pork chop

First of all, the prices were more than a little high for food that was just ok. The peanuts were stale. The tables were inexcusably sticky. It took 45 minutes to get our food and we didn’t get the dinner rolls till after we were half way done. Then it took 20 minutes of sitting before we finally asked for our ticket from the manager. Who knows where our waitress went. We won’t be going back!

I’m going to start with how amazing our server, Amanda, was with our service. She was professional, attentive and friendly. Food was OK. Nothing amazing and prices were a bit on the high side. My husband and I both got skillets. Steak, veggies and baked potato were all decent – all could have been seasoned better. The hosts were awkward. The place was not busy but the guy couldn’t figure out where to seat us. He told a guy to put us in 13 and then that guy walked away from us and we stood there awkwardly. I said to the host that this was really awkward and he said we had to wait 2 minutes because someone else had just been sat. I said I didn’t know what that meant but didn’t understand what difference it made if we stood in the entryway for 2 minutes or in the booth. The host said: well, I get in trouble when I do that. I was later told that the host team working last night was their«A» team. How frightening! With so many great places to eat in Lincoln, I doubt we’ll be back.

We had heard the portion sizes were large and, we heard right. I have enough leftovers for 1 large lunch or 2 smaller. My husband has leftovers too. The service was excellent and we even got to sit in the booth that we think of as «ours» from the building’s Lone Star days. Started off with buttery hot rolls with cinnamon honey butter… Fabulous. Our build a salad arrived and really, it was a meal in and of itself. I got a 15oz slow cooked top sirloin with a Jack Daniels sauce, grilled veggies and an add on of 5 bacon wrapped shrimp. Seriously 3 meals out of that and the left over salad. Husband got a combo dinner of a 10oz ribeye, grilled veggies and 5 bacon wrapped shrimp. WECOULDNOTDODESSERT. They have carrott cake and chocolate cake. Server described chocolate cake as 4 tier and held his hands out about the size of a lunch plate. It was a little on the pricey side, but really, per meal that I got out of it brings the overall cost a little more into perspective.
