I had previously been going to another packaging-type business(not UPS Store though) in a neighboring city. I thought they were all similar, and accepted the lack of consistency and the lack-luster staff as the norm. I waited to write this review to be sure that my first couple visits were the norm. Today was my 4th visit to the Lincoln, CA location. Here are the BIG differences I found and why I will continue to use the Lincoln UPS store. A guy helped me 1 time and a girl(Dawn) helped me the other 3 times. 1.) #1 for me is TIME! Even while chit-chatting with the gal behind the counter, I was in and out there in a fraction of the time when I use USPS or Fed Ex. I’d say my average wait which included packaging selection, addressing the label, watching packaging, & paying was around 10−12minutes. 2.) I am consistently greeted upon arrival — a friendly smile goes a long way in my book. 3.) While browsing for supplies I was asked if I needed assistance(I almost fell over – seriously!) I was given suggestions for saving money by choosing alternate packing methods(envelop vs box). 4.) One of my packages was super fragile. My fragile items were secured and packaged up perfectly — I didn’t even have to ask for the additional packaging – she just did it. 5.) The store has been consistently clean, organized, and free of additional clutter. I can find what I need quickly, which means I out quickly. I appreciate the Lincoln UPS stores effort to make customer service a priority and that they understand the importance of getting customers in & out in a timely fashion. I’ll continue to come back!

Customer service from the guy at the counter was very subpar. It seemed like he was bothered by my presence. But at least I got my package mailed out. I’ve been to many UPS stores and I’ve always had a good experience, especially the Arden location. What ever happened to good old fashioned customer service?

Needed passport photos for myself and my 1 year old son. Walked in and was not greeted for a few minutes, when asked who the passport photos were for, his response was«well, it’d be really hard for the baby. You should go to walgreens, we only have a poloroid.» Not cool. Won’t be back. Edited following response: went immediatly afterwards to walgreens, was treated much better, no issues whatsoever.

I like this store. The people there are helpful, friendly and efficient. I’ve gotten a lot of Notary service performed for me at the store as well as sending parcels via UPS. Keep up the good work.

Ya its nice they have a store in Lincoln, but it took me like 10 minutes to get waited on. Most of the employees are foreigners and hardly speak English. If there was another place that had private mail boxes, I’d go there.

My wife and I have used ‘The UPS Store’ by Safeway in Lincoln a lot. From pretty much all our administrative needs that we are unable to do at the house, to sending stuff, to Notarizing documents. The gentlemen who work there have always been prompt, professional, and helpful. I’ve been to other UPS stores and was compelled to leave positive feedback about this one being local to us and seem to be the most cooperative employees we’ve encountered.

My daughter walked in and was ignored by the employee and it took 5 min to acknowledge her. It is nice they have a Ups store right in Lincoln. They could have better customer service.
