Art of Threading

I’m extremely particular about my eyebrows and who I let touch them. I have very strong, dark eyebrows, and threading has been the best way for me to consistently maintain a well groomed appearance without irritating my skin.
I tried this kiosk out of necessity, when I had errands to do at the mall and a work trip coming up the following day. Salman is one of the kindest people I’ve encountered, and she patiently coached me through growing out one of my eyebrows I’d plucked too enthusiastically. It took a couple of months, but my eyebrows look great, just in time for my recent wedding.
Don’t overlook this gem of a threading salon because it’s located in a (not very upscale) mall. Prices are reasonable, lines are short, especially in the evening or weekend mornings, and they are so nice!

Who knew Lincolnwood (or «LTC» as my friends and I lovingly dub it) could be so good to me?!
I’ve scoured the Northside for THE best place to get my eyebrows done. I think I’ve been to practically every threading shop on Devon. And, while I’ve been attracted by the low-​low prices, I’ve never been deeply in love with any of the experiences.
But, the Art of Threading honestly surprised me! In a good way, too. The little kiosk is located near the Kohl’s, NY&Co, Baker’s wing. The first time they shaped my eyebrows, I was in total awe of the end result. A high arch, not too thin… lovely. All of the threaders are fantastic! They can keep the shape, which is what I love the best. You know, sometimes you can go to a new person and they’ll completely mess up the shape of the arch? Nope, not here!
On Friday nights, there might be a wait, but I always deal with it! I refuse to go anywhere else now to get my eyebrows done. LTC’s quality has drastically declined in the past couple years, so it’s nice to see little gems like this popping up! (Does anyone remember the Mr. Bulky’s there?! Good god, that was the best store EVER.)
$ 7 eyebrows — $ 5 lip. A little more pricey than places on Devon, but, eh. You’ll love it, I promise!
