It was my first experience at Studio Nails. There’s definitely a heavy acetone smell that they need to tone down. However, once your nose becomes used to the smell, they’re not so bad. They do a great job with scrubbing legs and making my feet really smooth with the callus remover at no extra cost. The massage was mediocre. I’ve had longer and better at other nails salons but it also depends on which person you get. Overall, a decent first time experience.

First and last time at this place: I got a fungus infection on my finger nails. Never ever again. Dirty salon and not well maintained. There are many better places in the Rahway area.

Please read the owner’s answer to my review and then decide if this is the kind of business you want to support. Hi Dear owner, How are you? First of all this is not the kind of answer a business owner should give to a valuable customer. Second, I don’t know who Alex is but I bet you must not like her at all to expose her persona like you just did. Furthermore, if you are not satisfied with her performance you should definitely approach her to discuss the situation instead of bad mouthing her here — just a tip and it’s called tone of the top. I not longer go to your salon because: 1– you are not welcoming to your clients and I am not the only who thinks this. You are so greedy that you tell people 10 minutes wait when the real time is close to 1 hour. 2– your place is dirty 3-your polishes are old That’s simple. Maybe you should refresh your management and leadership skills before answering like you just did. Have a good day! Your ex costumer, Sofia. Jotaro J: Dear Value Customer, We Know you are Alex’s Customer. I treat Alex with respect, The Problem is She is a messy worker. She comes late and goes home early without cleaning the shop. That is unfair with the other workers, and she want’s full pay. I truly don’t know what false information she told you but if you wanted to know the truth talk to her sisters. As for the Owner, she mostly greets all customers, it’s just most of Alex customers don’t greed back. don’t worry we know who you are.

Ive been going here for months and it is now my go to place. That other person must have bad luck because everytime I go I never make an appointment and I am seated within five minutes. They listen incredibly well and if they are doing something wrong if you SPEAKUP they are quick to fix it without and hesitation. The only problem I’ve ever had there is that the gel coating starts peeling off around a week and a half after my appointment so I stopped getting it. They take their time on my nails and always ask if this is what you want. My nails have never been thick and my polish hardly chips. Now the thing that attracted me was that an acrylic set is $ 25! Thats unheard of unless you want a really crappy experience and you don’t get one here. Also eyebrows are only $ 6 and they are eyebrow GODS here. You can’t go wrong with Studio Nails I love this place, I never write reviews but they deserved one.

Very unprofessional. I went there 3 weeks ago to get my nails done. I wanted them pointy but got almonds instead. They make your acrylic nails extremely thick and uneven. The guy that was doing my nails forgot to take care of my cuticles. I wasn’t happy but the people working there were nice so I paid. I went back 3 weeks later because I thought I would give them one more chance but this time I would tell them exactly what I wanted. I begged the guy not to make them thick but I wasn’t sure if he didn’t want to do it or couldn’t understand me. I was about to cry. My nails are all different lengths but at least now they’re pointy. It’s just too bad they all point into different directions. Don’t go there they can’t do nails for their life They can’t speak English
