Ordered a Gryo, the Romanian steak, and bacon cheeseburger the other night for takeout. Overall everything tasted really good. The Gryo meat is sliced thick and they give ample amounts along with tomato, lettuce, and onion. The sauce was wrapped inside the same packaging as the gryo, so it was pretty thin from being next to the hot sandwich. Not a deal breaker though. The Bacon Cheeseburger was ordered deluxe, so it came with fries, lettuce, onion, and tomato. It was obviously a frozen patty, that could have used a bit more seasoning, but the bacon was crisp and the cheese plentiful. The downside to takeout or delivery, is that fries and other deep fried or breaded items is that they become soggy due to steam. This was the case here, as the french fries and two decorative onion rings were housed with the burger, and were very soggy by the time I got the food home. The Romanian steak got a great response from my wife, she said the sauteed onions that came with it were perfect. It also comes with sauteed peppers too, but I had that omitted. When I arrived there to pick it up, the gentleman behind the counter said the steak looked too«bare» without the peppers, so he offered some white rice to fill up the emptiness of the container which I thought was nice. The steak also came with a hearty helping of garlic bread which was big enough to create a steak sandwich if you wanted. One note, if you’re going to order something like a steak or pork chop, you’re going to wait a little bit longer than someone who comes in and orders a slice of pizza. They cook most of those things to order. One of the best things, for me, was the salad that came with the meal. It was fresh, and loaded with vegetables. Their greek dressing was perfect and not overpowering. The feta was not served in chunk form either, and instead was schmeared(yes, that’s a real word here in New York) over the top of the salad so as to be easier incorporated throughout. The place itself was very clean and organized, and you can see the guys preparing the food… if you’re into that kind of thing. Overall, I was very pleased and will definitely be going back.

Ordered from this place recently and was very disappointed. It felt like a huge waste of money. I had an Italian combo sandwich that mysteriously included jalapeño peppers and fried green peppers(which wasn’t noted on the menu). There was nothing special about it and the meat and cheese didn’t seem fresh. The French fries were soggy and flavorless. We had to throw them out because they were inedible. On the American combo sandwich the cheese appeared to be something akin to Kraft singles. For the length of time it took to get the meal it was extremely lackluster.

We just ordered two pies from Pita & Pizza through GrubHub and everyone in the office agrees that this was the WORST pizza any of us have ever eaten. The dough was not cooked through fully, the cheese was very strange and there was barely any sauce. The bottom of the pizza had so much flour that anyone wearing black had it on their person. We will NEVER be ordering from this company ever again! DONOTGOHERE! SAVEYOURMONEYANDGETGOODPIZZAELSEWHERE!!!

When I originally moved to Lindenhurst in March 2013, this was one of the first places I found and tried various things off the menu from. I loved having a combination of cuisines, so I could order a pizza and spanakopita in the same order. Prices weren’t terrible and the pizzas are probably the best thing in there. After frequenting the place several more times on various evenings and trying more off the menu than pizza, the quality of food went downhill pretty significantly. They are often sluggish with getting orders completed so the wait became longer and longer each time I went in the evening and delivery service added on even more time. Their menu is quite large with classic Greek and Italian food and burgers but they never have certain things such as Babaghanoush, something we asked for each time over the several months of going there and they never had it, always saying they were out of stock or ran out. I almost wish they had just said they don’t make/carry it anymore because thats what happened in all reality. What really did this place in for me was watching them prepare the food one night in June. We went in a little before closing, were treated a bit on the rude side but let that part go considering we went in a half hour before close. On top of that, we asked the guy in the front a question/opinion, we got ignored completely and just asked what else we wanted to eat. We stood at the counter after placing our order and occasionally peered towards the back where we saw our burgers/food being prepared. The cooks handled the food without gloves(or if they were wearing a glove on one hand, they handled the food with the un-gloved hand, which was strange), they do not wear hair nets and we were grossed out overall by the preparation of our food and the manner in which it was handled. We still took the food home and ate it, only considering coming back if the food was that delicious(which it wasn’t as I mentioned earlier the quality went downhill). I found several hairs in my burger and fries platter and have pretty much vowed to not go there again.

Consistently good food at fair prices makes this the ideal take out joint for this area. Food is of the Italian/Greek persuasion and maintains the usual suspects from those regions; pizza, gyros, calzones, spanikopita, heros, souvlaki, etc. In fact, their menu offerings are so vast, I’m amazed at the over all quality of the food no matter what it is you order. Parking in the lot is some what of a nightmare and an accident waiting to happen. Good thing is that they deliver to the area, and quite speedy too! You can eat inside but we are talking literally a total capacity of about 10. The place is always busy and weekends expect to wait 2 hours for orders to be ready, so call way ahead. They accept both cash and credit.

Very good pizza at a very good price. I would recommend trying the disco fries. they are very interesting and unique. Also their rice balls are enormous and delicious, a dangerous combination.
