Roof has had several leaks from the first year of installation which surfaced after a heavy summer rain downpour… but form the beginning, they failed to have any supervisor on the job from the moment a crew that was partially assembled for who knows where arrived. Repeated calls to the office at Lindenhurst was answered by a person that repeated the same answer for the hours when I called and called for a supervisor to be on the job at my home… I was told, «there not there yet»,… there not there yet”,… I’ll call them… I’ll call them…
They failed to put a scupper metal flashing well where my chimney meets the sloping shingles on the roof, so I have had a leak all the time. since installation. When I poiinted it out they caulked with a tube caulk and left and there was no follow up on them, I had to call them three times and each time the leak was not resolved, finally I called a professional and he said that they failed to properly install any flashing around the chimney base,.
In fact, they did the whole job and recycled my old flashing.
Is this what you call «TOP QUALITY»?
I have had to go up there on my roof and constantly put roofing cement around the slope of the roof because they failed to properly install metal around the base and even address the leak. They also failed to correctly install the edging on the dormer roof, its to short where it ends, so I developed a leak around the edge. I have called them and much to my dismay they leave with no resolve.
They also failed to install the proper felt paper weight on the underlay.
Oh, the boss came at noon to deliver a pizza to these laborers and a case of beer… and then left. He reappeared at the end of the day for his money and that was a dismal end to the installation
These are nice individuals but there work and workman ship is inferior. The repeated leaks and the lack of supervision of the entire installation are just not what I expected. Any follow up has been with no resolve and after you pay, they will not stand by there work… I am a homeowner… and will never call them again… or recommend them…
