It’s arguably one of the cleanest supermarkets I’ve ever been in and the customer service is great, but there are a few drawbacks. It’s unusually more expensive than other supermarkets around the area. I can go north to King Kullen or east towards the Stop N Shop in West Babylon and get my groceries cheaper and have more products to choose from. It’s not like this Waldbaums is devoid of the necessary staples, but I’m just saying I’ve had to go to these other stores when I couldn’t find something at this one, but this happens rarely. Also, I can never find a basket unless I steal one from behind one of the registers. If I do find one lying around, it feels like I won the lottery. But if you’re walking back from the train station back home and you need to pick up something along the way, Waldbaums doesn’t disappoint.

Perfect to have this Waldbaums right in the village. Customer service is pretty good. Only problem is this… Why do they lock up half of the store doors(to exit or enter) at 8pm, when the store is still open for at least another two hours… The other night I parked closer to the train station side(right side, facing Waldbaums from the outside) and after a quick produce purchase couldn’t exit through those same doors and had to walk to the other side of store to then walk across the whole parking lot just to get to my car. Why not just leave all the doors open until you close? Makes no sense whatsoever. Someone please explain this to me

This is a solid Waldbaums tucked away in a small shopping center. I almost hesitate to tell anyone about it because it’s never crowded. While most stores are inundated with throngs of crazies stocking up for the next snowpocolypse(2″ of snow) This place is cool as a cucumber. I even remember riding the cart up and down the aisles because it was so empty. The store is huge and has all of the usual suspects you’d find at a grocery store the produce section is fresh as is the meat and deli section. The only section that is lacking is the tiny little seafood department. Other than that it’s a great store. The staff is friendly and they keep the store nice and clean. Plenty of carts to go around as well as spots in the lot. Luckily I live very close to this store but even if I didn’t I’d make the trip here. Check it out during the next mass hysteria to get eggs, bread and milk.

Today there were fuzzy grey strawberries and no bananas on the shelf. The packaged cheese was not past the sell by date but it was on the shelf with green mold. There is no quality in this store at all. A while ago I had a problem with the deli girl not wanting to use the kosher slicer because she had cleaned it already. Mold on the food for sale, it’s obvious no one there cares about the customer.

I love this place. It’s a bit tucked away but right in the middle of my route to the gym so it works for me. It’s a huge, clean location with freshly stocked produce. It’s definitely the biggest Waldbaum’s I’ve been to on the island.
