I am mainly writing this review for the pharmacy.
I live literally a block from CVS. I had used them for our pharmacy for years until a very bad situation, so we switched to Walgreens. Based on our years of bad experiences and bad customer service at CVS, this Walgreens was the biggest blessing.
From the start, we were easily able to transfer our prescriptions over online. It does take some time to set up online, but its easy. For anything CVS didn’t transfer over — Walgreens called our doctors for us!
They do everything for us! It is truly the lazy man pharmacy and I love it.
Refills are easy — they will literally email you and all you have to do is reply!
Refills over? They call your doctor.
The list goes on with what they do, but I love them! I am mad at myself for not switching to them sooner. I would have saved a lot of time and energy and not had nearly as many meltdowns as I did with CVS.

This Walgreens is wonderful. Brad the pharmacy manger is extremely friendly. The staff pharmacist Dimitri is also just as friendly. Robin the service clerk always has a smile on her face. I enjoy seeing them all. The store has gotten a bit dirty though and the store manager isn’t very friendly.

I love this place! There’s a CVS much closer but I have a 20 year grudge with them. And this particular Walgreens is so nice. They always greet you when you come in. They remember who you are. They smile. They’re friendly and helpful. Reminds me of the pharmacy I used to work at, until CVS bought it and ruined it. Great place.

Lake Villa, IL
DO NOT go there to get your photos done unless they have changed their equipment. Consistently their photos are dull or whitewashed. I complained and really did not get any help. I love Walgreens but this one is not the greatest. Since they are on every street corner I will go to the one in Lake Villa again. Better service.
