Restaurant seemed clean enough. Terrible service. The manager actually told me I ordered my eggs wrong. That why they came out the way they did. Haven’t seen my server since she took my order and been waiting for my check for about 10 minutes. Go to cracker barrel across the street

Avoid Monday’s! I stopped in on a random Monday afternoon, and the food was not good to me at all. My boyfriend and I are regulars here and we were turned off by our extremely oily eggs and bland«hardwood smoked» bacon. They obviously ran out of the good stuff and went a bought the cheapest nastiest tasteless bacon. My Belgian waffle was burnt and misshapen at first but I was promised another one upon its arrival. I got my eggs taken off but it then voided my coupon so the manager had to fix the bill. Overall I’ve had better days at this place. Only getting two stars because they are usually good.

Waited at my table for 15 minutes and no one ever came to greet us. Everyone was complaining about slow and poor service. Don’t waste your time.

We stopped in for breakfast after a busy holiday stay in a nearby hotel. We were quickly greeted by our server upon being seated and she was perfect! Attentive and knew the menu. The food was nice as well, but not great. Coffee was hot, fresh and just right. The cashier was horrible at providing service though… she didn’t want to be bothered when we came in and needed to be seated, but when we went to pay and leave, she was outright rude! Would we come back? Even though the food was good, they need to correct this cashier’s attitude. So, I’m not quite sure, as there is a Cracker Barrel right across the street, so there are options in the area.

We came here for breakfast and had Alexis as our server. Can I take her everywhere and have her be our server? She was so smiley and happy every time she came to our table! She also knew the menu inside and out and let us have whatever we wanted, and let us modify anything on the menu too! I have dietary restrictions so that was especially good for me! Food was great — bread is homemade so that was a nice touch as well Thank you and we will be back!

The food was good, but it took nearly 35 minutes to get to us. The kitchen had made a mistake, they did comp us bread… but still.

Nice order taker, nice manager, nice place, nice food. I don’t see why not get something to eat here. Don’t forget your bread — they are delicious at Bob’s.

Service was good. But food was not as ordered. Eggs were still raw when I asked for over medium. Sausage was tough to eat. Not going back any time soon.

This is the second time in about 6 weeks I’ve eaten here and I can say that this store has the worst service of any Bob Evans I’ve ever seen. First time: sat at COUNTER20 minutes before even getting a menu. Second time: 35 minutes to get a scramble and 10 minutes beyond that to get my side of French toast. Pathetic.

So so breakfast. The eggs were cooked correct but the hash browns were cold and hard. My toast came almost after my breakfast was finished and it was the wrong type.

I was basing my opinion solely off of these negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when we received our food. After spending 6 hours in the car, we were dying for a satisfying meal I had the pot roast, mashed potatoes and carrots. My meal tasted as if it were simmering in the oven all day just waiting for me. Very well prepared and filling. My husband had the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and with gravy and green beans. He killed it. He liked it so much he sopped up the plate with their most and fluffy rolls(I plan to attach a pic). My daughter had the chicken tenders with fries and said they were delicious as well. Like others, we had planned to go to the Cracker Barrel but it looked crowded. Normally I’m afraid of empty establishments but this was a great experience. We did order our food to go with plans to eat it in our hotel room. Last, if you like dinner rolls, make sure you order extra. You will not be disappointed AND they come with room temp butter for spreading. The rolls are about the only thing I like about Golden Corral and these are comparable or better.

Ordered steak medium rare and received what can best be described as Salisbury steak from stoffers microwaveable meals. Wife ordered the flounder and received the flounder that was cooked only on one side(and by cooked I mean burnt). Never received our drinks. Only thing good was the mushrooms on the steak. The soup was also lackluster. This place has absolutely gone downhill since the Cracker Barrel was built across the street. We will not return.

We came here as an alternative to Cracker Barrel since we are on the road and the wait for Cracker Barrel was too long. We were seated quickly and greeted with friendly service. The food came out quickly and it satisfied our hunger. It was hot and good brunch food; I would recommend the new brioche French toast.

Walked in here only because Cracker Barrel across the street had an hour wait. Once I walked in, I noticed it took a few minutes to see the hostess. This gave me a bad feeling. When she finally appeared, she told me it would be a 20 min wait. So we stayed. We noticed they had a counter area with stools, which were all taken. But I decided that if 2 stools freed up, it might be better to sit there, since we wanted to eat and run. So just our luck, two stools opened up before they called us for our table, so we took them. The breakfast menu was just ok. Not too much variety on certain things. I was looking fwd to Cracker Barrel, then I thought this would be like IHOP, but not really close to it. I had country fried steak and eggs, with home fries. It was ok, but my eggs came over done, and I was rushing to get back on the road, so I ate them. Biscuits were really good. I did have an awesome french Vanilla cappuchino– two actually. Hubby ordered the special Brioche French Toast with strawberries and whip cream, and eggs and sausage on the side. I’m not into sweet breakfast options, but it did taste pretty good. They have their own baked items in the front by the register. Cookies, brownies, breads and pies. Overall it was a good experience. I love a good country breakfast when I’m out road-tripping. Sitting at the counter we got attention from the manager, and had two different waitresses. Everyone was super friendly. I would come back again if I was in another Cracker Barrel jam… lol!

Ordered tudrkey fork and knife sandwich and a salad. everything was great except the following: The wilted nasty salad came out after my meal??? Dont know about you but I like to have salad. Before my meal. and it was gross The mash potatoes, gravy, and stuffing were ice cold. nasty. didnt have time to get it heated up so I just complained The only reason I gave 2 stars is because server was excellent and the manager comped the meal… Thats what I getfor going to a chain restaurant!

We were a party of 11 in downtown Baltimore during both an O’s game and Otakon, so we decided to come here in hopes that there would be a place to accommodate a big group without a wait. We were seated immediately, which was great. Our server normally worked later shifts he explained, because he was frequently unfamiliar with the menu items we ordered. The food was great, but we had vegetarian people in our party who seemed kind of disappointed in their narrower selection. Also, we had one person get there food much later when most of us had been halfway through eating.

It has been so long since I have been disgusted by the service at a restaurant, and unfortunately I experienced terrible service at Bob Evans yesterday. My boyfriend and I were absolutely starving, and we originally intended to go to Cracker Barrel, but the wait was too long. We decided to go to Bob Evans since it’s right across the street. What a mistake! When we entered the restaurant, there was one woman in front of us waiting for a table. It took a couple minutes for her to be acknowledged, and when the hostess asked her how many people were in her party, she said she’d be right back. Instead of then helping me and my boyfriend, she wandered off to go gossip with a fellow employee, and then nonchalantly made her way back to the hostess station. That should have been a red flag for us, but we were so hungry we brushed it off. After being seated, it took 10 – 15 minutes for someone to just take our drink order. That someone ended up being the«hostess» and she didn’t offer any apologies or even tell us her name. We both ordered a water and a coffee. It took 5 more minutes to get water, and when she brought it out, she mumbled something about having to make the coffee. Okay. What was interesting about this whole scenario was the fact that I could see most of the staff just hanging around in the back gossiping and not doing any work. It was not busy at all, but yet most of the tables(the majority of whom had been there before us) did not have any food. I could even see the cooks cracking jokes with the wait staff, while they weren’t cooking anything. Seeing this blatant display of disrespect to the customers was too much for me. If things were that bad and we hadn’t even ordered food yet, who knows what our meal would’ve been like. We left before the hostess/waitress/whatever could bring our coffee to the table. We ended up at a nearby IHOP where we were greeted upon entering, seated right away, and our waitress was attentive and on point. With such a huge competitor like Cracker Barrel right across the street, this Bob Evans location needs to shape up. My experience made me feel like I was in an episode of «Bar Rescue», and I expected Jon Taffer to pop out at any second to reprimand the staff. There’s a reason the wait is so long for Cracker Barrel. The wait is worth it for Cracker Barrel, people!
