Lumpy pillows. Sheets had stains. Rust on bathtub. Room did not feel clean. Full kitchen which was nice but bed was uncomfortable and room smelled.

No, no, and no. I’ve stayed in an Extended Stay America before and the room was clean and great to stay in. Why am I disappointed in my experience here then, you ask?
Because they boast of a «smoke free room», but I swear to God when I walked in it smells like they kicked out a hobo cooking chicken wings and smoking menthols, sprayed some «summer fresh» febreze and slapped a «smoke free» table tent on the counter. Lets just call it Eau de Hobo.
In no possibly way was this room ever smoke free. My clothes smell like it when I walk out of the room. I smell like I just played bingo during all you can eat popcorn shrimp night.
Anyways, it gets two stars for having a kitchen.
