I have never experience the most horrific business transaction on the face of the earth. Dec 2014 I called the store to inquire. Linthicum Maryland Store
Well all sounded good and I decided to visit the store. It look shaky because its minimal show room but I thought well what the worst that could happen.
I didn’t see anything on the floor but decided to look through the books.
I found a selection and the sales rep was very calm and professional.
I put a deposit on the set the next day.
A rep from the store called and stated the set arrived. I went back to store to see. Still feeling a little shaky.
I like the set.
I wasn’t in a rush but I had a time frame in which I wanted to receive the set and pay for it.
I received a phone call from the manger/​store owner but is now the delivery guy only! He was so abdomen for me to sign the contract. I should have known it would be a mess because I really wasn’t prepared for the set and he was pushy for the deal.
Well they came out and they delivered it. It was late evening and a work day for me so I told them just leave the set in the floor. The set was all wrapped and I started to unwrap it and saw the legs weren’t on and to wooden block where attached by bolted screws
I said know big deal I will call or text the manger/​store owner posing but is the delivery guy. I communicated professionally oh I know I told you to go but I DIDNT KNOW the legs weren’t assembled. Is there anyway this can be done?
Well the delivery guy stated he was about to go to court and he would contact me back. I didn’t think much about it until I never receive the phone call back.
I text him later that evening to inquire again. Oh He Started to flip out via text about how he helped me, how he delivered after hours and how he’s been working late all week!
What the F luck does that have to do with me? As I scratching my head thinking What just happen here???
Then he said I am not coming out there and I am about to have dinner with my family your going to have to pay. He said all sales are final once you take the wrapping off. This wasn’t true after talking to the finance company.
I even communicated in conversation if this is a $$ issue than I will pay.
You are out there clown.
Never heard anything again.
Needless to Say The Deliver Guy Is A Furniture Dealer Stalker.
I had 2 incidents where the furniture stalker was knocking on my door. The 2^nd incident I knew it was him because it was the same truck and his partner. My neighbor was with me and identified him as well.
I called the police and my husband and the police told me if he comes again call us. I wrote the tag # down everything.
My husband came home because he was ready to do some damage.
I text the Stalker and warned him if you come back to this resident you will have problems.
He called my phone and started yelling your mad because you are stuck with a set.
Texting Crazy Responses!
Then I get a phone call from the manager. Well Who Are You? The Manager Now Was Calm Professional! He Explain, He Wasn’t Aware Of This!
