Had lunch and it was great The onion soup was just done right – nice melted cheese on top and great taste. We also had the wedding soup… good too! Shared their special Caesar Salad with blacken chicken… just wonderful. Atmosphere very comfortable and informal. When in area would go back… their breakfast items look good.

We eat here often and always enjoy our meals. I was there on Sunday and had the florentine omelette with crabmeat it was delicious. They always have nice specials and a very broad menu. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive.

The only reason we do not go here EVERYTIME we go out to breakfast is because they stop serving Chipped Beef(SOS) at eleven. Well, today we made it in before eleven and were not disappointed. The Chip Beef was fresh and my son said delish, my mushroom and cheese omelet was as well. The potatoes are always good(peppers and onions), we order them well done and the service is always great. The place is clean and bright and we have never had a bad experience. We have been coming here for at least ten years and Romanellis will continue to be a «go to» place for us. My sister had her backyard wedding catered by Romanellis many years ago, the food was fantastic and the whole experience positive.

I love this place! Breakfasts are delicious. I got a veggie omelet that had all kinds of fresh veggies. Highly recommend for breakfast!

Decent Food, bad service. Would love to say this is our new go-to spot for breakfast but the average food and unpleasant waitress service left us without a new favorite. With all the standard diner food around, we were looking forward to something beyond the norm, despite the creative menu, we found pancakes that were cooked well but tasted like bisquick, eggs Benedict that were also cooked well but average in taste and waffles that were good, but again nothing fantastic. The coffee and juice were standard stuff as well. I’m just not sure what this place does really well, the service we had was far from good. Inpatient service, never checked if everything was ok or if we needed anything else before dropping off the check, and then we waited 10 mins for her to provide us change, but she was nowhere to be found. Restaurant was 2/3rds full with no wait at the door. I hope we got a bad waitress on a bad day because we are gonna try again because it’s close to home. Fingers are crossed!

I have been routinely eating at this restaurant for 10 years. Have always loved it. However, the last 2 visits were awful. Really skimping on the amount of food. When I asked for more than 2 small slices of pork roll on my sandwich, they charged me extra. Seriously? The meat didn’t even cover the roll. We go every Sunday and you are going to charge me for pointing out that you are decreasing your amounts and charging get the same prices? You have lost a customer Susan montenegro

One of our favorite spots for breakfast and lunch. An extensive menu with even more options available on their daily specials menu, means there’s always something for everyone to love. Fresh ingredients, good portions and great service. Their soups and chili are ah-mazing! Also they do great sandwich and salad platters for catering.

Best breakfast spot in Atlantic County. From omelettes to french toast and eggs Benedict you just can’t go wrong. Everything is made fresh, portions are good and prices are right. Try the Romanelli’s specialty omelette and a side of sausage links for a start. Great mushroom, red pepper and cheese omelette! Staff and manager(Jon) are courteous and on on point at this gem of a café. Only improvement needed would be better/stronger coffee. Great place to take your family for breakfast on the weekend! Don’t waste time going to an area diner when you will get way better quality food at Romanelli’s.

Superb. Everything is fresh and made with love. We recently had one of their lunch specials, it was grilled chicken breast(a lot of chicken), lettuce, tomato, bacon, fresh mozzarella, and a chipotle mayo on toasted rye. They knocked it out of the park it was one of the best sandwiches I ever ate. It’s not much to look at on this inside, but the food is delicious and the prices are great.

Stopped here on the way home from OC today. Since I wasn’t in the mood to do Uncle Bills Pancake House, and since Unilocal is awesome combined with GPS, I was up for a road trip. This place was not that far off the path from the parkway, but well worth it. I ordered the Corn Flake french toast and my wife the Cape May French toast. Well, it was worth the minor detour to eat in a nice, clean, friendly place. No lines, nice & quiet(my two kids were with us). Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. My wife said she would drive back down from north jersey just to have breakfast again. Well done to the staff and cooks at this joint, they did us a solid!

I have heard rave reviews about Romanelli’s On the Greene for years. Finally I was in the area at lunchtime on a Sunday, and decided to try it. Basically, it is a glorified deli. There is a long L– shaped deli counter filled with meats, cheeses, salads, etc. Behind the deli counter there are stacks(and I mean STACKS) of boxes full of deli supplies. The stacks of boxes continue down the long hallway to the restroom. I’m not huge on fancy décor(for example, Allen’s in New Gretna is a favorite restaurant of mine), but the sky-high stacks of boxes are not for anyone who is even remotely claustrophobic(like me). Considering it is a storefront deli, I imagine that they have limited storage space, but still … Booths and tables are squished in very tightly. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. The toast was good, the hash browns were excellent, but the omelet was strangely low on flavor. I couldn’t quite place why, but it was. I wound up adding ketchup to it, which is something I rarely do with eggs. Another member of our group got an omelet from the specials list and enjoyed it. The other two members of our party got French toast — one regular and one Cape May. They were both extremely happy with their meals. Both French toast dishes looked delicious. Our waitress was polite but slightly distracted. The place was packed, though, so that could be why. Would I try it again? Yes, I suppose so. But I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Best brunch in the Mainland area for sure. Always three-four breakfast specials and a couple of lunch specials. My favorite is the cereal-crusted French toast platters that come topped with fruit(special shout out to Frosted Flakes, which is my favorite of those). The lunch is also great, particularly the buffalo chicken cheese steak. The food is like an upscale diner. The line can be a bit long, but I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 20 minutes for weekend brunch. Plus, for 20 minutes, it’s worth it. I’ve waited much longer for food not nearly as good. Décor is no frills — tables and booths with some iron decorations in the wall — big step up from how it looked five or so years ago before they renovated. Prices here are reasonable — what costs $ 9 here would cost $ 15+ in Manhattan. Wait staff has been the same for years and they are great. Like a diner in terms of prices/staff/consistency, but with much better quality.

A decent spot for lunch and the food is always good. There are always good specials to rely on. This is a favorite spot on the top ten of «where to go for lunch». «The Good» — The waitresses are great, fast, smiley and spot on. — Food is good, the specials are usually great as the chef gets to show off a little, the other menu items are consistent, but nothing go over the top, just good quality food. — Fried Green Beans… yes please fry the veggies… so I will like them more. — The parking lot exits to a side street in the back, so you can leave through the light on New Road. This prevents you trying to fight to get onto New Road in Summer traffic. –The seats are not packed like sardines, but allow you to breathe a little more. — Very good breakfast food… across the board. «The Meh» — The prices are a little high, even for South Jersey… — Parking can get a little full in the lot around lunch and on the weekends. «The Bad» — Nothing really bad to comment on.

BESTBRUNCH in the south jersey area! They have a variety of lunch sandwiches as well as breakfast variety. I always choose from their suggestions list which never disappoint. The omelets with home fries are delicious, and also the Cape May French Toast. french toast with strawberries, bananas. YUM! There is wheat, white, or rye Toast that also comes with the omelet, and it is by far the best toast(also spread strawberry jam on it!) that I have ever had, and I normally skip on toast at breakfast. They also have a location in Galloway. And the Galloway location serves dinner. I will sure make my way to try it!
