My no chip manicure is going on five days.- chip free. It may not seem like a long time but with a two-​month-​old at home, and between packing, traveling, washing hands excessively, laundry, cleaning, raking the yard, no chips to report! I love that they did three thin layers as opposed to two thicker layers as other places have. No chip manicure’s are a little bit more expensive here, 32 for a normal color, but I like their approach so I will be going back.

Yaaaaaaaas, honey. I needed the Deluxe Pedicure on Friday. It’d been a crappy week and your girl Amber needed to be pampered. And pampered I was.
The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the tv is at an expectable volume level.
The Deluxe Pedicure is like the regular pedicure but, well, deluxe. Just all sorts of exfoliation, mud, oil, hot stone massage and warm towels around my calfs too. Yaaaaaas.
A few days later and my polish is still fresh looking and intact. Even though I use the same nail products at home, the pedicurist just does it better.
The only problem now is that now that I’ve gone deluxe, I just don’t want to go back to the regular pedicure!

Best nail salon around!!! Got my nails done for valentine’s day and forgot to post the pic, thankfully they still look great. I like doing the gel manicure, but gel is really bad for my nails so I just get regular polish. The staff here is very pleasant and the salon is pretty spacious. Haven’t done a pedicure here yet, but the moment I do I will most certainly share the experience. =)
Ps I came into the salon on Friday the 13th aka the day before vday and there was no wait I was seen right away unlike the salon I stopped into prior which had a 2 hr wait. Glad I decided to go with Orchid Nails and can’t wait till my next appointment! =)

Andy is the best. I’m on my feet a lot which need much care and he is great. He pays attention to details leaving my feet baby smooth. Another thing I like is that my nail polish stays on for 7 – 8 days and I’m rough on my hands.
