This place was better than I expected. It’s not a gourmet restaurant and not trying to be. The meat is good quality and the fries were delicious. They also have a simple outdoor area we sat at. I ordered the beef and was not disappointed.

Sooooo… I found out about this place because they posted it in one of my groups on FB. Seemed like culturally diverse fast food, I’m game for sure. We went in about 8pm, it was empty and the staff was chatting in kitchen. My first impression. Dirty, but let me explain. The walls have paper media that gets gross no matter what diner your in. The tables where all asku… They have a following where the culture prays on the floor. BUT, all the tables where dirty and sticky. So really… Not so bad because this had happened just about everywhere. The art on the walls leaves more than just something to be desired… Culturally speaking the potential for amazing art, even if just posters is there, but they put hand painted canvases… WITHGLITTER!!! It attracts dust, bugs, and falls into the food. Just gross. Now for the UP side… I LOVED the food. I loved the friendliness of the man(with glasses) who took our order, explained the menus, offered suggestions. The Chicken Shawarma is crossed off the menu but not in the Feast,(what I had) but feel there was plenty of chicken in my meal. The hummus was excellent… How can chick peas be so different? Dont know, but the falafel and hummus is better here than NafNaf! The Kifta had good spice and flavor but I couldn’t get past the odd moistness of ground beef… Gyros are good. The chicken and beef from the kabob in the Feast where really delish. Even the French fries where excellent! The sauces are bland but paletable. I live that they have fountain and can drinks, but they have a seemingly large clientele for take out. I have to say, for a fast food place, this would be one of my tops. It appears they are trying to change the name and build clientele. The food is worthy, but cleanliness goes a long way. Child tables and chairs but no high chairs. And to get wheelchair in but not handicap friendly.

What can I say, I am hooked on their food! Super fast service and owner is really nice. We have been going there for Friday lunches and get to try different things each week. Awesome food, try their tandoori burger, its really good. Fries are fantastic. Folks liking fusion cusine should try their fried rice, its not your typical Chinese fried rice, its Pakistani style fried rice with grilled chicken. Hope they continue to serve their excellent service and great food!

This place is okay. I like their falafel! The burgers are made from premade frozen patties and are a bit gross. Stick to the Mediterranean items and you’ll be better off!

we ordered phily gyro sandwiches but got plain chicken philly, which tasted very bland. the bread was soggy and it was cut all the way into half which resulted in alot of mess. I wont be going there again.

Chicken kabob wrap is great. The staff is very kind. The three stars is for the wrap but the missing two is for the kind of odd menu. The fried chicken sandwich is a lower quality chicken. It should be the same chicken that is in the kabob. If you are going to eat here be sure to get the specialties. The rest of the stuff is frozen out of a bag.

I came here because I was in need of a gyro. I was not disappointed. The gyro was on point. The pita bread it came with was extra soft but somehow still was able to hold the delicious gyro meat safely. My husband had the cheeseburger and fries. Both were fantastic. I’ll be back to try the hummus, among other things, cause my kids love hummus.

The heart of this menu, is middle eastern or Mediterranean fare. If you stray, you might be disappointed? That said, I’ve been coming here, whenever I am in the area, for years. Fortunately, I’ve always ordered the tandoori chicken sandwich. The chicken is always juicy and flavorful, the bun soft and toasty. Totally worth the visit every time. I’d put this sandwich up against any other chicken sandwich anywhere for a chicken sandwich throw down.

This place is honestly delicious and so friendly. The food is always cooked in front of you and it always smells delicious. They also offer certified halal meat! Staff is also quick to serve and warm. Prices are more than reasonable for the items! I love it here! Also free wifi!

I’ve been going to this place since it first opened up and its always been good. Yeah its not the greatest food in the world but when your getting a huge double cheeseburger and drink for around $ 6 can you really complain? My suggestion is to stick to the burgers and sandwiches on the menu. I docked a star only because the service can be up and down. It depends on who is taking the order. Sometimes they are nice and other times not so much. But its a fast food place so I guess if the food is good that’s all that matters.

Here are the following reasons why we didn’t enjoy this restaurant: 1. We ordered two drinks, the cashier confirmed and then gave us one and only charged us for one. We told him we ordered two and he told us we didn’t and then charged us for another even though it was his mistake. 2. We ordered an Italian beef with hot peppers and instead got what appeared to be a philly cheese steak. 3. The cheese steak had very stiff bread, old, seemingly reheated meat, and it simply tasted awful. 4. I ordered the gyro cheeseburger. It was just not good. 5. We also ordered cheese fries. The cheese was a cheap queso that tasted like the tostitos kind. 6. The soda was all water. $ 18 later and our fat asses are still hungry.

Just ordered carry-out here with my sister– A tandoori chicken salad and a chicken kebab wrap. Disgusting. For having raised prices, I’m sorry to say they are cutting corners and producing low-quality food. No wonder the place was empty at dinner time. Chicken was poorly seasoned(over salted and WAY too much turmeric) on the salad and wrap. Also had the impression of being slightly burnt and old– perhaps left over from lunch? The hummus that they put on the wrap seemed as if it came out of a Sabra container. Definitely not authentic. Tahini sauce was basically white-colored water. Very low quality. If you are looking for zabiha food options in the area, you are better off going to ANYWHERE on Roosevelt Road or better yet, Cedar grill. Same prices MUCHHIGHERQUALITY food. Not worth it.

The gyro wrap is the greatest of all time. It’s honestly some of the best gyros I’ve had in the Chicago land area. I live about 10 minutes away and I try going to this place 2 times a week at least. Try the gyros wrap you won’t regret it.

I feel like I just fed my family in the equivalent of a gas station bathroom. Everything was grimy, restroom was fiiilthy, and did I mention everything was grimy? Even down to the little tab you need to pull to dispense water? Sticky and gross. Desperate for some dinner and a dry place to eat after being rained out of a nearby soccer game, we stumbled upon this establishment. We ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, a burger, and a chicken sandwich. The chicken nuggets were chewy and awful, but everything else was edible, and the wings were even pretty tasty. I’m giving it two stars only because the employee(owner?) was friendly enough and the food itself was not terrible. I wish I’d read a review like this before choosing to eat here, so hopefully this will help some other poor, lost soul. Maybe not a bad option for takeout, but the experience of dining in ruined whatever shot the food had of being enjoyable.

Proprietor is very nice and steered me to the grilled chicken combo. The sandwich was moist and flavorful. Asked for no mayo which they did(not a given, getting the ingredients right!). Good thick crinkle cut fries. Some guy had a kabob plate which looked really good. I’ll be back and will try something different next time.

I just ate here today after awhile and it was just as good as it’s always been. I had the gyro cheeseburger, it was absolutely delicious! The owners are very nice and always make you feel welcome.

I went to this place way back when it first opened, I haven’t been there in a while… I believe it’s under the same name, new owners… and a different menu. I was craving a gyro for some time now so I called in an order and picked it up 15 minutes later. I got a gyro plate — very tasty, lots of gyro meat, two pitas. I shared an order of fries(they too were good) and also tried the chicken nuggets. In addition to a hot dog, burger, and gyro joint this place also has other things like kabos and more. There aren’t a whole lot of places in the area, in fact I can only think of two places that have gyros and this place has regular and spicy! I’ll keep going here, good, quick service and tasty!

I drive pass the plaza the Chill & Grill is in daily. Its been on my radar to stop in for quite some time now. Considering there really isn’t anyone in the area serving fresh sliced gyros I am sure they stay busy. The establishment appearance is simple however their menuboard does not do their food justice. After glancing at their carryout menu this place is more than your average burger joint. I special requested a Grilled Chicken on pita bread and it was delicious. You can tell the chicken has been marinated hence the awesome flavor to my sandwich. I might even go as far as labeling it a mediterranean seasoning. I added a fountain drink and fries and I my total was less than $ 6 bucks. Talk about a great savings. I would love to explore their kabob plates next time, had it been a little more advertised near the register I would have ordered it. Friendly staff and quick service at around 3:30pm
