Good food and good sized individual servings. The staff is friendly. Home cooked food available in 30min at a decent price. Much healthier alternative to other ‘order out’ places.

I have had only the single portions from Torch Cookery. There has always been just enough for me, not oversized to the point I have thrown the rest out. some of the items I have gotten two meals out of. The variety is good and the daily specials are a nice mix. Everything has been very tastey. I love the chicken and dumplings. Some items seem a bit pricey but I’ll spend that at Culvers and that is just FASTFOOD. UGH! So I guess it is really worth it… For a single person sometimes running late getting home I can call ahead and it is ready when for me. The women running it are always very friendly. No complaints here Joe

Food is very good, but portions are far too small for the price. Ordered the«Family Size»(four times the size of a single serving) Chicken Marsala and bread and paid $ 39.15. Would have been a fair price if we all were filled up, but there really wasn’t enough food to feed a whole family of 4(or us, and we’re only 3). We were all(even our 8-year-old son) looking for more food before bedtime,

So far — the«Torch» has met or exceeded my expectations. I cook a lot — so, I know what goes into preparing quality food. This place prepares«normal» food which I like. They don’t complicate things with ridiculous spices and herbs like some places do to pretend they are fancy and ecclectic. Just good old fashioned food cooked very well. They are accomodating to deal with too. I’m impressed and I will continue to go there. I will keep you posted on my findings. I’m hoping they continue to offer more and more health conscious foods — including soups as I’m getting fatter by the day. Frozen soups too… keep em coming.
