I love Hampton Inns but this is the worst managed hotel ever. Beware if you complain about anything you will be asked to leave. My family and I have made a tradition to stay here on New Years Eve for quite a few years. Never again. I had an issue with a room I requested and the manager made it a bigger deal than needed. And before she tried to accommodate me she told me she didn’t have to let me stay. It ended in her giving me the room I originally requested that she said wasn’t available. I called corporate to let them know. When they let Miranda know I complained I received a call from Miranda personally to let me know she noted in the computer I was no longer welcome at their hotel. Which is fine because we will be planning on taking ourselves to the Holiday Inn next door for the next years to come.

Nice place. They had cookies every evening. Our backs hurt each morning we woke up. Will stay again!!!

We stayed @ this Hampton Inn like 3 years ago and I recall us thinking«where do these guys buy their mattresses from?» It’s a comfy place to lay down after a 4 hour drive with kids that are cranky as hell. In the morning, they have a breakfast buffet that is better than what they have at most ‘free breakfast’ hotels. This morning the breakfast included cheese omelets and sausage. The rooms here are cheaper than what you’d find if you stayed in Springfield or Alton and now that you’ve fed your family a nutritious meal for ‘free’, you’re ahead of the game. Since we didn’t have to be anywhere until later in the afternoon, we put on our swim suits and went for a dip in the pool and a soak in the hot-tub. Although the pool area is kept clean, I was a little upset that the shower only sprays cold water… also, the restroom by the pool was out of order.
