horrible extremely just terrible everything about this place just was not even decent. there was hair in my food totally disgusting

Well I called to place a curbside order the Gul who answered the phone Erica put me on hold then another lady came to the phone and said who dis I’m like looking at my phone like I’m placing a to go order for curbside. The lady says o someone said the phone was for me like a personal call. Then I get here to pick up my order there is no sign for curbside pick up so I call the store telling them the make of my car the same Gul Erica answers the phone. The chic Erica says do u want to come in and get it I’m like no it’s called curbside pickup
At this point in time I’m like I should’ve just order somewhere else bc this it is ridiculous frfr

If there was an option for a lower grade than a one star I would have chosen that instead. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to! I ordered the sirloin steak and it was so tough I couldn’t even cut it with my steak knife. I also ordered the broccoli and it was extremely overcooked and over-​seasoned. Both were absolutely HORRIBLE. I contacted the manager and asked him if this is really a sirloin. All he kept saying was that it’s 9oz. and refused to answer if it was or was not a sirloin. He also told me I shouldn’t have ordered the sirloin, as they buy the lowest quality of meats there is in order to keep the prices down. When I got the check I noticed they added a drink to the bill that I did not order or receive and they also tacked on a few extra charges for the baked potato toppings. Again I called for the manager and asked him why are they adding items to the bill hoping the customers don’t notice. The manager had no response, saying he didn’t understand my question. I will never go back to Applebee’s again.

We have tried coming here at different times, even different days hoping for better service; I think I’d have better luck waiting for a falling star to make this wish come true. Food is usually great, if you don’t mind waiting 30 – 40 minutes for your drink and 1 — 1 ½ hours for your food. We finally gave up :(

YUM YUM on the new stuffed/​grilled burgers! Great idea & tasty too!

I’ve been here a handful of times and every time it is frustrating and disappointing. Mediocre food, slow service, missed taking orders, from start to finish this is a bad experience. with the other food options available in the area you do better stopping anywhere else.

Their food is ok … if you’re starving. The Rita’s & the Long Islands that are on special have very little alcohol They have good draft beer specials tho!

Went at late night and the music was so loud I felt like I was in a club. Asked server to turn it down and she rolled her eyes at me… There also was employees drinking in uniform. Was told GM was work this is crazy. I understand it’s late but when did this become a night club???

First time fiancé and I went we had a gift card and the whole experience was meh… ok. However I don’t think we’ll want to go back after our visit today.
We decided to split a burger and also get the full wonton tacos and full Sriracha shrimp to share. Our waitress misunderstood and gave us the shareables. Which, for the tacos, gave you 3. We told her the the mistake and she said she would tell her manager. Minutes pass… eventually she comes and confirms we wanted the full and not the sampler sized. She whisks it away and more minutes pass. By then we had finished our half burger.
By now I’m pretty much ready to go. But after awhile our food comes out. BTW the difference isn’t that substantial between sampler and full sized. We received one extra taco. In my opinion it’s not worth the money difference. But any who… I abruptly stopped eating when I saw a little curly black hair on one of the shrimp.
We got the bill and the waitress charged us for an extra lemonade… we paid and left. Not gonna go back there. no real sense of urgency at all here.

This is our second time to this Applebee’s, the first time we had a GREAT waitress and amazing food. The second time. The hostesses seemed very unfriendly and hated life. Horrible waitress with an attitude, the dinner tasted like it was rushed in the kitchen. The appetizer was DELICIOUS, we ordered mozzarella sticks from the 2 for $ 20 menu. I would like to see more of an upgrade in staff on manners. I am the person that will leave a $ 10 tip on a $ 15 bill. I’m a barber and I live off my tips. So I like to leave a good tip for good service! We decided that our third time will possibly be our last if it doesn’t seem like any change.

i only go to this restaurant if a coworker wants to go. their food is not really my taste as it just seems like they heat it up in the back. the drinks though are good.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! the service is awefull. You will wait forever to get a drink if you even get it. HORRIBLE !!!

After poor reviews we still decided to go. We thought it can’t possibly be that bad! Well it was! Horrible service. We are from the tampa/​st. Pete area. We are used to a lot of things. But not this. We ordered 2 Draft beers and an appetizer at same time. Waited 10 mins. Finally the appetizer arrived yet no beers no water. We were blown away. Server came back. Said sorry! Left to bar. We sat for another 5 mins. Still Nooooooo beers! Others came by. We said we were leaving. Did not touch the app. Which was now cold… We could not believe it. I am a chef and been working in kitchens and restaurants for over 15 yrs. This was completely unnecessary. We left and went near by to Ruby Tuesdays! !! Who made up for it 10 times! Advice. Save the hassle and go straight there. Trust me. Plus menu and food wayyy better!

I ordered Signature sirloin with garlic herb shrimp. Their menu says it comes with seasonal vegetables, but it came with all broccoli… The steak was too tough.

Ordered online. They missed the order and seemed to be scrambling to get it ready once I got there. They were very polite and the bartender offer me a drink while I waited. At first I was happy it only took a couple minutes for them to bring out my order. But then I got to my hotel and found I had no dressing for my salad, and no fries with my sandwich. Perhaps they replace the salad for the fries? No they charged me extra for a side salad, since it was an addition to my invisible fries. I would have rather sat and waited longer for a properly prepared order.

Had fun training the new guy on this night. I just hope he didn’t pack up and run away after we were done lol he was cool though. The food was ok and the bartender sent me out the wrong drink on the first try. The food was okay this time. My steak was chewy more than tender, but will i go back? Yes.

Great lunch spot and great atmosphere!!! Ask for Sunshine or Darrell at the bar… they are great!!!

Not sure why I keep coming back here… Convenience I guess. I’ve been to Applebee’s across the country and this one has to be the most disappointing. Corporate did the menu well but they need to do the same with the staff here. Consistently takes 10 minutes to get a draft beer after ordered even in the bar area (doesn’t matter who the tender is). And the cooks! Cheese and rice man I’ve seen fry cooks that take more pride in the quality and plate appearance. This will be the last night at this Applebee’s sadly.

A friend and I decided to meet up here last night for dinner and to catch up. My last experience here with one of my girlfriends did not go so well, as she had to put the mgr in her place (her pasta wasn’t prepared the way it was advertised and the mgr was pretty rude about accommodating her; she had to contact the corporate office to file a complaint on her). I didn’t see this manager last night, so that was a good thing.
I hadn’t eaten anything since noon on my lunch break, so you can imagine how hungry I was at 8pm. Everything on the menu looked good, lol. Brenden was our waiter and he took great care of us, suggesting things on the menu and giving his honest opinion. My date asked if I wanted an appetizer, so we shared the spinach and artichoke dip. Based on how hungry I was, I tried to not out-​eat him (is that a word?) lol. It was pretty good and we were provided with enough.
I’ve had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp before and wanted to get it again, and my date decided to try it for the first time. It comes with a grilled chicken breast that’s seasoned, and topped with seasoned shrimp that’s in garlic and thyme, with red potatoes, sautéed onions and mushrooms. My date joked at how he had more potatoes than chicken, but portion size was enough for me. For dessert, we each got the blue ribbon brownie bite that also came with vanilla ice cream. It was good, but be advised that it is a ‘bite’: it just appears larger in the photo on the menu.
Overall, we had a great experience. The food was great and our waiter Brenden was awesome. Make sure you ask for him.

I’m so conflicted on how to rate this place so I just decided to be nice and give a 3. Here’s my dilemma, the service was good but the «quality» of food was very cheap therefore terrible. I had to send my first meal back for something else entirely. I originally had the riblet but it taste worse than a microwaveable dinner and the fries were no better smh. So after that I requested the 7oz steak instead with mashed potatoes and veggies…*Sigh* This too wasn’t up to par. I don’t know where they got that steak from but it is the furthest thing from meat. I think Applebee’s get their meat from the same place as McDonald’s or something LOL.
Anywho they did their best to accommodate me but no matter how well that food was prepared you can’t make shit taste like sugar no matter how hard you try :)
