I used to go Appliance smart to my all rental appliances. Notice one, they doesn’t last long. And I do some research, find out most appliances are refurbished, return items from factory or discontinued. and return policy is really bad. What you pay what you get. If you want to buy yourself trouble, that’s the place to shop!

Pretty good deals on appliances, but don’t expect much in the way of customer service once the sale is made. They have the attitude that, once you’ve made your purchase, the sales reps have gotten their commission and you are therefore wasting their time if they have to deal with you again. This is especially true if you go in there to, say, check on the status of an order and you are forced to deal with a sales rep who did not sell you the appliances. That’s what happened to me, and the sales rep«Jazmine» was just incredibly rude and acted put out the entire time I was checking on my delivery. I have multiple properties, and have bought thousands of dollars worth of appliances from this location and the one in Atlanta. I had another incident where I had to threaten to sue the Atlanta location because they sold me a new refrigerator that had scratched up handles on it when they delivered it. All in all, I’m not sure if the savings is worth the hassle and the unfriendly treatment and zero service after the sale.

Never has a business put me through so much crap yet made me such a happy customer. How? Well, by delivering me $ 3,000 in appliances for a mere $ 700, that’s how! I’ll gladly put up with a ton of crap to save $ 2,300. When I say *delivering* me appliances, I really do mean that. As part of the aforementioned«crap», they did have to make three delivery attempts. They almost had to make four, and I eventually called a truce. Quantity perhaps ruled over quality here. Now, some of this was of my own doing. Yes, I have a 23″ wide door and asked them to remove appliances via it. They argued it was not possible. I disagreed. Why did I disagree, and why did I think the delivery guys should have been able to handle this? Because I am a scrawny dainty little flower of a woman and I ended up doing it myself, with my bare, bare hands. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, here’s the deal: Appliancesmart is a «scratch and dent» place, which means that they sell new floor model appliances that carry original manufacturer’s warranties for extremely discounted prices. And then, they will haggle further. I got the deal of a lifetime on a top of the line Bosch laundry pair. They offer deliver(ies) and extended warranties as well. Purchases also qualify for Energy Star rebates the same as if appliances are bought at a big box or Sears. My family has historically not purchased from scratch and dent places, but now we know better and will never go back. In conclusion, I’ll spare you the whole saga. Neither party is blameless. Both sides could have contributed to greater efficiency. Fortunately, everyone stayed more than civil throughout. They’re honest people and really try to make customers happy, even if it gets a little messy. This leads to the thesis of my review, which is as follows: You can save a ton of money at Appliancesmart. You may suffer a little, but read my lips, you can SAVE a TON of MONEY. $$$$$$. Gosh I love this place.
