I’ve been going to Crackel Barrel since I was a youngin. The food and service is usually really good. This Crackel Barrel wasn’t their best face, let’s say that. Before leaving work about 15 min before I ordered a salad to go. I got there and it wasn’t ready. Cool. I didn’t get the salad until about 20 min after arriving to the restaurant lol. It wasn’t even busy.

It was a slow cold morning and we were looking forward to the big nice warm wood burning fireplace WELL you should have guessed that it was not burning and she forgot my hash brown casserole and still charged us! Other than that EVERYTHING else was on point as always. We normally ask for Celeste but she wasn’t there so we had Ms. Dawn and she was great. I’m thankful to have this location close by

Ordered the starter sampler for myself and pancakes with bacon for my children. The yogurt parfait was very good. So good that my son ate half of it along with his pancakes. The bacon was cooked just right, I like it crispy. The apple butter with the biscuits are not to be missed! The waitress checked on us frequently. Good food, good service!

It’s unique to see a restaurant nearly empty at 8pm on a Thursday night, but there we were and there it was with only five occupied tables. Our server, James, was amazing. Johnny on the spot with attending to all of our needs. The biscuit and cornbread weren’t quite as hot as I would like them to be, but were delicious nonetheless. Being a vegetarian at Cracker Barrel is difficult, as they believe that country cooking means add meat to everything. For that reason, the soup, turnip greens, green beans, and dumplings were out of the question. I did, with a little help from James, settle on a veggie plate with grits, a baked potato, salad, and steamed broccoli. The food was fair. nothing to write home about, obviously, but edible. My husband opted for the chicken fried steak, double macaroni and cheese and hash brown casserole. which he demolished in short order. He was fully satisfied. I, on the other hand, wasn’t too impressed. Apparently others aren’t either. or there would have been more than five tables of people. Still, keep the biscuits rolling in. they were the best part of the meal.

I’ve come to this location a few times before, and while the food is always fine, the service is generally lackluster. Today really took the cake though. I dropped in with my 2 year old on a Saturday morning before 7:00A. They weren’t busy at all, and our waitress only had 3 tables including mine. After sitting close to 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from our server other than«I’ll be back» and«y’all ready» as she was walking by to other tables, we just left. If she’d offered or asked if I wanted a high chair, taken our drink orders, or made even the slightest effort to make us feel at all valued, we would hang stayed, but that just wasn’t the case.

This has been one of THE worst culinary experiences I’ve ever had. The food was mediocre ATBEST. It looked like slop on a plate. The sweet potato fries were soggy and just wrong. How do you mess up sweet potato fries. And to top it off we actually waited over 30 minutes for this mess. We entered the restaurant at 11:06, was seated with drinks by 11:10, it took another 30 minutes for lunch to arrive. The waiter was nonchalant, didn’t really seem to be aware or cared. Spoke to the manager, he said they have had longer wait times. Stay away.

Stopped here for dinner on our way home one evening. I ordered the country fried steak, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and fried okra. The food was ok, nothing special about it. The biscuits on the other hand were delicious! They were light and fluffy and fresh. Just they way I like them. Very friendly service!

We were stopping through over night and my husband goes here for a to go order. ONEHOUR later he gets freezing cold food. This is absolutely absurd!!! It is Monday night at 9pm and they were not busy. No excuse even if they were busy for that. I will be sending an email to corporate concerning this because it is ridiculous. I have eaten at many cracker barrels and never experienced such incompetence.

Came to have a girls day out with Adanna. Add soon as I got into the parking lot my car started smoking and all of my fluids were coming out. We went inside and everyone was so friendly. The waitress came and checked on us frequently. When I advised that I didn’t like the steak she offered me other meat options. The manager brought it out with a smile on his face. It was a very nice experience. We spent 2 hours in the front listening to music and playing checked while we waited for the tow truck. …

DONTCOMEHERE! While the food was okay the service was absolutely terrible. After waiting hours to be seated we asked for an updated time and we were told two parties were ahead of us. After being told this 6 more parties were called and we still weren’t seated. After our party was called we were lead by a hostess instructed by another, not to our table, but the fire place. At the fire place we were told to wait for the next five minutes for our table(that we passed) to be cleaned.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to eat at this cracker barrel on Sunday. Although the host quoted us a 20 minute wait time we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was Donna and she was awesome. She tended to our needs and made us feel like she was proud to serve us. I ended up getting the Sunday Special which consists of the fried chicken and two sides. It was DELICIOUS. The sweet tea was good as well. I will be back to visit this location in the future.

Here at Cracker Barrel & had the worst experience at this location. First, I ordered my usual breakfast when the waitress suggested that I get the breakfast that she suggested. It took a very long time to get and when I did, it was extremely cold. Of course I sent it back and now I’m mad as hell because what I’m not about to do is have them give me another order and in the meantime let them spit in it. So I’m sitting here like a damn fool mad & watching everyone eat. This is bull … Needless to say, I will definitely not be coming back to this location.

A friend introduced me to Cracker Barrel today & oh my was this an delightful experience. Firstly, I was shocked to find a mini store as you walk through to check in this restarurant. I wS in awwww because, I was not expecting this & there were soooo many convenient items from candy, clothes, jewelry, cooking item, desserts, snacks and they even had a section with Christmas decorations. Now for the good stuff, waiter sat is right I. Front of a real wood burning fire place which was cool to be on a morning date. I ordered the chicken fried chicken breakfast which was a huge breakfast that came w/house hash browns which appeared to look like cheesy-rice so, the potatoes tasted slightly cheesy which was different. Also came w/eggs, grits, biscuit & country gravy. My meal was freshly cooked & I actually burned my mouth upon my 1st bite! Nevertheless, it was sooo yummy and I loved my breakfast & since it was so much I actually took ½ of it home for lunch. While my friend had the pancake platter. I like the food, good quality & quantity… I am looking forward to coming back to try other items.

Food was very good. Our waitress was attentive(always kept our glasses full and inquired about taste, etc). It’s one of the few sit-down places in an area of fast food joints, so for hotel visitors it can be a nice reprieve. All in all a good place to go for some comfort food.

For better or worst, we come here daily for lunch. I work out in an area where your choices are Wendy’s, Cracker Barrel, or starving. But what can I say — the food is pretty great. Not cuisine designed to win the heart of a true foodie, of course. Instead, solid fare like good salads, decent vegetables, and pretty amazing biscuits. I eat Paleo(except when stuffing my face with a biscuit) and can always find something to eat. Oh yea — the bacon is delicious.

Great service and the BEST breakfast in town, it’s as close to Momma’s cooking as you can get! The service is great and for the price you just can’t beat it. My fiancé had the Old timers breakfast with a large orange juice and I had the grandmomma breakfast with a large orange juice and the total was $ 22, we were full Neil about 2pm, awesome!

Lunch. Grilled chicken tenderloin is incredible, and one of the healthiest options. Marinated and grilled to perfection, super tender and juicy.

Not much different… our server(Amber) was a little irritating… she talked down to us like we were 3. She definitely has a bad attitude for a server, no problem we left her 20% tip anyways!

It’s all in the stars at Cracker Barrel. Take a look at the hostess and your waiter the next time you go. The stars on their aprons indicate how much experience they have and how long they’ve been with Cracking Barrels. A single star screams I’m new to this place! 5 stars means your waiter is the crème de la crème of all waiters. If you’re in the mood for a hearty middle of he road country breakfast, lunch or dinner then this is your place. No mater where you go in America the menu and service is pretty much always the same. Beware of Saturday and Sunday brunch time though. The wait could be up to 45 minutes. But never fret, if the weather is nice just grab a rocking chair on the porch.

Lost behind an assembly of hotels and car dealerships this establishment is nothing more than a hidden pile of discarded waste. Upon walking in the hostess greets us with an ever so pleasant FML smile. She«promptly» seats us at a table lined with the last person’s crumbs and grits. After waiting 15 minutes our waitress arrives to take our drink and food order. Zipping off and immediately returning with our coffee we begin to lace our mugs with cream and sugar. One sip tells me that this coffee is not only piping hot, but it is a double brew of old coffee. Pushing the mugs away we alert our waitress who states«Oh, you must like STRONG coffee.» No ma’am, I just enjoy regular non-watered down coffee. Returning with another batch I break the news to my companion that not only is the new batch of coffee terrible, but my utensils are filthy. Caked on with old eggs and stringy cheese I refrain from losing last nights meal on the clearly clean floor(insert sarcasm here). Speaking of meals, the plates that were set before us were nothing more than piles of slop. The grits had taken on the shape of the bowl, the eggs were missing cheese, the country ham was nothing more than beef jerky, and finally the saw mill gravy was so disgustingly old I had to refrain from gasping while being«poured» over two previously frozen then baked biscuits. There is nothing that a coupon or an «I’m sorry» letter can fix this place. It may be a local spot for the citizens of Douglas county, but I’d rather eat an air sandwich than return to this business of instant stomach flu.
