IHOP

I just want to place an order to go. Ok. You are short staffed. I see that. Working at IHOP with a bunch of drunken college kids is no party. I get that. But seriously. Communicate with people. Bring them water. Apologize. Do something besides give me your real life SLOTH impersonation. It was really being oversold. I’m here… Trying to oblige someone’s craving for strawberry banana french toast and I want to fight the woman I can clearly see standing in the kitchen NOT TAKING MY ORDER. She curtly informs me that she was supposed to leave 3 hours ago and now that that they are short staffed she’s giving me the go fuck yourself smile as she takes my drink order only… Flatly refusing to put in my to go order as requested. The nice lady who came over and finally took my fucking order and apologized will get a nice tip. The sloth just got my polite tongue lashing-​she will not get a tip. The actual waitress was super sweet and nice and got our food out quickly. I pray she makes a killing on tips tonight. She deserves it with her amazing attitude.

Understaffed and unfriendly service. Waited for 1 full hour before food arrived. Didn’t refill my drinks or appear concerned with my time.

food is good, service is ehh. Don’t plan on ordering ahead, hence they take their phones off the hook!

Food came very fast, however I did go pretty early on a day off and there were only a few other ppl seated. My red potatoes were very good and hot and my pancakes were decent. However, my sausage was cold inside and the eggs were still wet and not scrambled hard like I asked. Waitress (Rose) was nice but I had barely finished when the bill was brought. I always get the feeling of being rushed or that the server wants to hurry and get me over with when he/​she brings the bill super early. However, she said to tell her if I needed anything so perhaps it’s all in my head. Btw, bring a parka. It was just as cold inside as it was outside. Deducted 2 stars because it was super cold and uncomfortable and for the cold food.

Told the waiter it smelled where he sat us and he proceeded to tell us we can go find a better Ihop. We got up to leave, walked back in to get his name he came up to us as to help us and as soon as we asked for his name he walked away and took off his name tag, manager was a sweet heart and very professional and really helped calm the situation down and gave us free food. The cook also proceeded to come out and help talk to us and brought out our food, which was the best meal I’ve had from and IHOP. Just still feel as if he’s not cut out to work anywhere sorry.

We came here today for breakfast with a party of 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 babies. They were quick about setting our tables up and seating us. Our server (forgot her name…) was awesome and very kind.
She was also pretty quick about getting our drinks and food orders and very patient with our reoccurring requests!
The restaurant wasn’t dirty or not kept up! It looked great and the staff was friendly.

I have never seen a place like this. The servers and manager were nice, but I ha e never seen an IHOP serve a bowl of oatmeal with one spoonful of oatmeal and bacon on a plate 1 ½ strips. They don’t have brown sugar or raisins for the oatmeal either she could only offer me cinnamon. This is a franchised one, but I think of IHOP corporate office cane in this cheap owner’s store they would revoke his owner permit. This owner is obviously very cheap and it shows in his store and food! HORRIBLE!

A little slow on svc but the server asked someone else to take my order so I wouldn’t have to wait much longer. Then there was a misunderstanding on my part with the menu, but the mgr made it all better by making an exception. No fuss, just a smile and understanding my misunderstanding. Great customer svc. Of course the food was good. Good pancakes & buttery eggs. Not what I expected with it being right off the hwy & next to a motel & truck rental place. Wow, go figure. Kudos!

Awesome service and food! For once all 4 of us ate ALL of our food! The server was amazing! Thank for making us FATTER :-)

I’ll admit I am a restaurant snob, to me IHOP ranks with McDonalds and would never eat there. But here on vacation with the kids it was the best option for the area. It was a great experience, food was good but the service and hospitality was fantastic, on a Disney level. Thank you Dede! You made a great start to out day!

I have to say that I’m really shocked at all the negative reviews posted here re this IHOP location. Maybe we just hit the place on a good day?
Its a busy Saturday morning and we stop in here for breakfast. We are greeted by the some of the friendliest staff ever. On our way to the table no less than three employees smiled and said hello or good morning. We had only been seated for about a minute when our friendly, professional, polite, server (Catherin) came over. Our drinks came within about 2 minutes of placing our order and our food took less than ten minutes to arrive. Everything that we had was hot and delicious. Service simply could not have been better. From the moment we walked in the door to paying our check and leaving the experience was a good one and we both commented about how all the staff were some of the friendliest we’ve encountered in a very long time.
The only slight negative comment that I would have is that the restaurant could have been a bit cleaner but then again it was a very busy time of day for them. That being said — we will certainly stop in here again.

Worse service I have ever had! Will not be coming back. Never seen servers face until check arrived. Never had a refill the entire time. In the meantime there were at least 20 employees chit chatting and sorry ass manager was outside talking it up.

I drove all the way to this IHOP hoping to avoid the Sunday church rush, which I succeeded in doing, only to experience the worst service I’ve had in a while. It look over 10 minutes to take my drink order for coffee — this from a server other than my assigned who took pity on me. It took another 10 minutes to get my order in, which I then witnessed sitting in the window until it was lukewarm. The icing was receiving regular syrup instead of sugar-​free so I had to send my pancakes back. Not worth the drive, even to avoid the Sunday crowds.

Don’t ever go here. EVER. The customer service sucked. Our waiter was stupid and just… stupid. The computer system was down apparently and he couldn’t take our order with our drinks. Once we ordered our food we waited about an hour while other people who got there after us got served before us. The staff is racist. Just don’t waste your time going here. It sucks.

I missed breakfast hours at my hotel so stopped here at around 11 am. It’s located just off I-​20 west of I-​285 on the way from Atlanta to Birmingham.
I had an omelet which was obviously not as good as a homecooked meal but fine considering I was in a national budget chain. Service was fast and friendly. The server memorized my order and I was a little nervous about her getting it right but in the end it came out fine. She stopped by a few times to make sure everything was okay. There was a bit of a line at the cashier but he apologized for my wait.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back but I didn’t regret coming here, either.

This was the worst Ihop I have been to in my life and I must say I have been to some shitty ones. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there was only 2 tables seated.
However, JoJo tried to memorize 3 orders with out writing it down. Guess what?! Our food order was wrong and it was sent back 3 times. It took forever for my table to get their order.
I’m assuming JoJo was the server, cashier, and the cook all at the same damn time. He sucks and I won’t be back.

This place is awesome!

I can’t remember my waiters name, but he was GREAT. And that is all I can say about this place. They didn’t have ice cream for my room mates milkshake, they didn’t want to substitue grits for no meat on my intended meal and the bathroom was getting on the nasty side. I give it a 2 instead of a 3 because some one should be chekcing the bathroom every 30 – 45 minutes on a busy Sunday. Parking was horrible and the outside wasn’t clean.
The food was actually pretty good. The hostess and cashiers were very nice and polite. I enjoyed the food but the location is kind of small compared to the one in Douglasville.

Great service, great food. The server was working the entire restaurant and doing a great job. She kept some tables waiting at times, but when a server is all by herself, what can you expect? Great southern hospitality.
