KFC

Can I rate a ZERO? Arrived at 9:40 for a quick bite. The place was empty and closes at 10. The girl at the door said the lobby was closed but we could use the drive through and was just plain nasty about it. We went to Popeyes up the street. This place is packed and based on the other Unilocal reports I am really glad we did not experience KFC here

Ok — its a fast food place so I don’t expect a lot… but the guy behind the counter tonight was just plain awful. I don’t think he had an ounce of give a sh*t in his entire body. 15 – 20 minutes to slap together an 8 piece meal and a couple of sides. SLOW service and the food was not good when we got it home. Chicken was ok. Mashed potatoes — can you make these taste any more like fake? and mac and cheese was greasy. How can you screw up instant potatoes and mac and cheese?
Not my first bad experience at this location but definitely my last because I will not be back.
Hey KFC — how about hiring some people that can say THANK YOU to the customer

OK… I can hear you all screaming now… FAST FOOD!!! You don’t review fast food! OK, you’re right… BUT I had a co-​worker rave so much about their chicken pot pie that I had to try it. I have to admit… I am the chicken pot-​pie queen… I make it from scratch and am really, really picky about pot-​pies (both the crust and filling). So I was absolutely floored when the pot-​pie wasn’t just good… it was amazing. The crust is flaky and golden, but the BIG surprise was the filling. I was expected to find tiny, diced, dehydrated/​rehydrated cubes of veggies and hard-​to-​find pieces of dark meat chicken. Instead, I found a creamy, peppery, flavorful sauce, pieces of white and dark meat chicken that were big enough to be identifiable, and huge chunks of veggies… whole, thick circles of carrots, big inch-​square (or bigger) chunks of perfectly cooked potatoes… WHO KNEW!!! It was delicious… I may stop making them from scratch! (You have NO idea how hard is was to even write this review and admit that I went to KFC! I’m such a snob!!). The rest of KFC? Meh… not so much… the the pot-​pies? Heaven! Put on a disguise and head to KFC and check them out!

The worst KFC ever…1^st u ask for something the guy at register says okay… then he comes bck and says this is all I can gv u… little gravy with large mash… that right there is $ 5…then u have to fight with the manager disrespecting her people… then she tells u never to COME back…
Over a large mash potato and gravy! Don’t think I will ever go back to a KFC
