Terrible customer service. They did not put the undergarments in the garment/dress bag for my cousin and an hour before the wedding when she was about to get dressed we realized it and had to RUSH there all the way from Stone Mountain. We called to see if someone could meet us, even if it was just across the bridge to avoid traffic,(ya know, because the wedding was about to start and pictures needed to be done) and they said they were«too busy.» They couldn’t even take 10 minutes out of their time to help reduce the stress and make up time, caused by their mistake. Needless to say, they should have double checked that everything was included before they sent the bride away thinking she was well prepared. Will not recommend this store to anyone and will tell everyone I know this absurd story.

#81 My little brother’s wedding was last Saturday. I was beginning to panic a bit when I had not yet received the wrap/pashmina that I had ordered on-line from David’s Bridal about four weeks prior to my Atlanta departure. What to do… What to do??? My mother told me about this particular location right before I got on the plane for GA. She said, «Relax, maybe the David’s Bridal at Stonecrest will have the color you need in the store.» My mom is always the best at calming me down. Anyway, once I arrived in Atlanta, we set off for David’s Bridal at Stonecrest to ‘hopefully’ locate the missing pashmina the day before the wedding. We arrived around noon and found easy parking right out front. Upon entering the store, I saw several girls/women getting fitted, trying on beautiful dresses, tons of little girls running around playing while their mommies were choosing various outfits, etc. The place was pretty busy. A woman approached me and asked if I needed assistance. «Yes ma’am, I really do,» I replied. I explained my situation and she immediately showed me the selection of pashminas, then shawls and wraps. Stupid me, I forgot my dress to match the color(I guess I was tired from all the flying the day before). Anyway, I decided to buy two, in case I was a bit off on the color. I said, «I can just bring the one I do not like back tomorrow before the wedding or maybe Sunday.» She explained that all sales were final. «Ugh,» I thought to myself – what will I do with all these pashminas? She was so sweet though, and told me she would make an exception and allow the return of one of the pashminas as she understood that it was actually David’s Bridal that neglected to send me my item on time. Wow – that is amazing customer service. I did not even complain to her about the return policy, I just decided I could use it in the future… Or not. Either way, I had to have the item, so whatever. She even introduced me to another sales associate and explained the exception she was allowing and the situation so that in case she was not there the other lady would be aware. Wow! Again, wow. Thank you. Needless to say, my mommy, one of my sisters-in-law and a few friends loved both pashminas, so I just kept them both, but it was refreshing to know that the manager would bend rather than break over a policy issue and make sure the customer was happy. And I was. I will return to David’s Bridal at Stonecrest when I have another formal event to attend now that I am near the area. I appreciate the customer service, the selection and the awesome management at this location. Stephani Smiles for David’s Bridal ;) #greatselectiongreatmanagement

I had appointment scheduled for 11:30 on 4−9−16. I made it there at 11:20, the stylist did not come in until 12:15, then walked right past me without even acknowledging the fact that she was late or to say hello. Once she walked in she went straight to the back. I waited another 15minutes, then left. The ladies at the front desk did not even try to stop me either, like ok then bye. There was one stylist there on a Saturday, one large group came in and they were struggling. I left and made an appointment for the Duluth location, and they were wonderful!!! They made it exciting and fun. There were several stylist there, and they were assisting other stylist, and even gave me a few pointers! I actually found my dress!!! SO, the moral is do not go to Stonecrest Location they have no interest, come to work late and are rude to their customers! Kim P. Lithonia, GA. 0 stars!

My daughter is getting married in November 2016 and granted we DIDNOT have an appointment on a particularly slow Sunday(January 2016) they would not allow my daughter to simply try on a damn dress!!! What business lets good money walk out the door? David’s Bridal Stonecrest Mall location!!!

I tried… I was getting married and was thinking I’ll try David’s Bridal to see what they may offer… what was I thinking… when I entered the store I was asked if I registered, I let them know I did online but I still had to fill out this form again. After doing that I really wanted to browse but was spotted looking around without any help from an associate and was told to wait and sit down. My sales person was extremely nice Senitha I believe her name was, we were allowed to browse and look around and we pulled some dresses, The dresses were nice… that’s it. I wasn’t raving over any dress I tried on… they all looked cheap and when I walked they exposed my shoes(gown would boast floor length but ended up being a TEA!) I’m not that tall either I stand at my tallest 5’5 so I figure all dresses would fit nicely. Another thing is their inventory is dated. They have the same dresses from 1998 today… its like a time capsule. No thank you! I only get married once and I refuse to have a mediocre cheap looking dress. I went elsewhere!

The Good: Perfect for the bride with out of town/state bridemaids. Everyone can just go to their local David’s Bridal and pick up their dress. Perfect on a budget. The Bad: Not a fan of David’s Bridal in general. Not a fan of this location at all! This place is a mad house. Searching for«the» dress can be super stressful and this place just makes my head spin. I always knew this would not be the place that I would find my dress, but I kept an open mind and hoped I would be pleasantly surprised. It took forever to be greeted upon arrival. I didn’t feel I received the same personalized attention as I did in other bridal salons. The consultant was very hands off in pulling gowns in the style I wanted. This was frustrating to me. She just pointed me in the direction of the dresses that were in the silhouette I wanted, but this was not helpful because at that point, all the dresses were looking the same to me. I was expecting the consultant to pull different dresses for me based on my criteria, but they were very hands-off. I continued the appointment with the original consultant assigned to me. She was apparently sent out on her lunchbreak at the time I was due to arrive. Obviously poor planning on their part. This consultant(Greta) was helpful in getting me in and out of the dresses, but this would not be where I would be buying my dress. Maybe it was a bad day, but I will not be shopping at David’s bridal again.

Do not buy your dress from David’s Bridal. The consultants are on commission, so they are only concerned about making a sell. The sales consultants have very little patience and often rush you into a decision. The sales consultants also claim that it takes 6 months to order a dress. This is a lie! I received my dress within 1 month. I accepted the fact that as a inexperienced wedding dress buyer I was taken advantage of by David’s Bridal, and decided to make the best of my choice to purchase a dress from them. What initially attracted me to Davids was their reputation of inexpensive gowns. I believe you can get better quality for the price I ended up paying for my dress. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when I took my dress in for alterations. There are black marks on the dress from where it was pressed improperly. The stitching was broken in many places on the dress where there are pleats, and the beading/décor is falling apart. It all looks like it is a result of improper pressing. When I brought this to their attention, I was told that it was because the dress was cheaply constructed. I WILLNEVERBUYANYTHINGFROMDAVID’S BRIDAL. I SPENTTOMUCHMONEYONMYDRESS, ALTERATIONS, BRIDESMAIDDRESS, JUNIORBRIDESMAIDSDRESSES, ANDSHOESFORALLTOENDUPWITH A SUB-PARWEDDING.

So I came out to this location with my niece as she is hunting for a dress and her wedding is about 1 month away from today, June 18, 2012. Now this store looks like the other 3 that we have been to in the past couple of weeks. It appeared to be fully stocked. I even saw all of the same Vera Wang gowns, including the Pink one. My FA-VO-RITE! The staff was friendly however, I will say that it felt like they paused a little too long prior to greeting us properly. But once they decided to smile and open their mouths then everything went smoothly from there. Two things stood out to me about this store. 1. There were not too many«Clearance» items in the store. The gowns that were in the store were mainly«Special Occasion» dresses. Think Bridesmaids. Think Prom. Think Junior sizes. So that is another issue to consider if you had a thicker waistline then you may want to shop well ahead of time. Many of the dresses were size 4, 68 and 10. I was able to secure a Junior Bridesmaid dress in a size 15. This shocked the hell out of me because last I checked my waist was a 16 and my ass alone was an 18. I guess all that hiking is helping me out. :) However this location did NOT have that size in stock. But never fear… Brooke was here… 2. The other locations did not have Brooke. Turns out that Brooke was my nieces consultant from last year. This young lady was working her A off running around helping every one with a lost look on there face in the store. My niece was lucky that Brooke was in the store to help her again. She found my Bridesmaid dress at another store and of course she helped my niece with her selection. Since my niece is still not sure about the gown that she picked Brooke is on the look out for another gown for her according to her taste.

As I walk into this David’s Bridal, it was a mad house. I didn’t go in here for dresses, thank God I knew better, but for veils. Some irate bridesmaids were waiting around to be seen for their way overdue appointments, and they helped me pick veils. No one in the store acknowledged me, no one asked to help, and I had to beg someone to cash me out. This is exactly why I didn’t even consider DB when going Bridesmaid or wedding dress shopping. Not to mention, they charge about 1000% more than value for their costume jewelry accessories. You get what you pay for when you go to David’s Bridal, and I got exactly what I paid for– a cheap veil that I wore for all of 20 minutes, and still managed to fall apart even in that short period of time. Thank God I got it on clearance!

This was the absolute worst experience I ever had with any of this. I am NOT a picky person, I am NOT an ass to work with on this level… in fact the recent place I went to and BOUGHT my wedding gown from was awesome. But this review is about the assness of DAVID’S BRIDAL. I don’t know if this is how they run a business but the wedding shopping experience was horrible. I had an appointment and had to wait for TWOHOURS to be seen. And then(much like the other review) the dresses I had picked out from the website — the sales gal had a hard time finding(Another HOUR went by and then I went and FOUND them in about 20 minutes). And THEN there wasn’t much in the way of personalized attention. Not that I was needy or anything but simply leaving me in the room to fight on every dress I tried was NOT how I had pictured that day. I’m already nervous enough about the whole planning thing — that was the last thing I needed. I WILLNEVER, EVER, EVER recommend or go to a David’s Bridal — even if they are giving away dresses. They absolutely put the suck in suck ass. And if I could give a negative score here — I most certainly would.

Ugh! I don’t know if other locations are the same, but the Lithonia David’s Bridal is atrocious. Since this location is the closest to me(I live in Midtown) I was forced to go to their store on multiple occasions for bridesmaid dresses. Even though I had an appointment, I still had to wait around until someone was able to help me. I had look up the dresses I liked ahead of time on the website so I could be prepared. The sales person had a hard time finding each dress, I actually had to pull all of them myself. Everyone that works there doesn’t seem to have a clue to what’s going on. Along with dealing with them in the store, I’ve also had to deal with their incompetence over the phone. A 30min phone call to have a dress shipped to an Atlanta location?! They tried running my credit card 4 times and said that it had been declined, when really, they had the cc number wrong after having it repeated to them LITERALLY5TIMES! I’m so glad I never have to deal with those people anymore. Worst experience ever.
