Got car side that go, we had to go in to get it, waited 15 mins past the time they said it would be ready. The hostess was so rude, basically pointed to the bar when we said we were here to pick up the food, half the food was frozen, my pasta was so over cooked it was hard, went back and talked to manager he gave me a $ 5 voucher, like that made a difference, the waitresses said they like chilli’s better, wow

I’m not a fan of providing bad reviews, but I am posting a review in hopes that the service will improve. There were countless moments where poor customer service took place: 1. When we arrived, the hostess scrambled around the restaurant to find a random piece of paper to record the name for our table. 2. When we were seated, we placed our drink order(a Blue Moon and three Perfect Patrons), the first time, and it took 20 — 30 minutes for one drink(Blue Moon) to arrive. We asked the waitress to check on the other drinks and her response was, «Would you like to speak with the manager? I’ve been waiting on your drinks, but the bartender isn’t listening to me.» We agreed to speak with the manager being optimistic that the situation would be rectified. 3. The manager arrived 15 minutes later and heard our concern. His response to our concern was, «There is a long wait for drinks because there was supposed to be three waitresses working, but two of them did not show up so there are probably a thousand drinks ahead of yours… I’ll take your order and put it in.» He then proceeded to take our drink order, for the second time, in addition to the food order(sweet potato fries and 10 pieces of bone-in wings). 4. Another 30 minutes passed and we still didn’t have any drinks nor food. By this time, we are all pissed. Another waitress came to the table to verify the order that the manager placed. So this means that the order we gave him over 30 minutes ago was NEVER put in. Out of the all the drinks and food that was ordered the only item that was brought to the table was the Blue Moon. 5. My friend asked what started off as one waitress and has now become two, to bring him an Arnold Palmer. He asked both of them in case one of them slipped up(forgot the order). Both waitresses brought him a drink, but one waitress forgot the straw. So even if I wanted to drink one because I was dying of thirst, I couldn’t. By this time, we are ready to go. We canceled all of the food and drink orders and walked out. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. We never received any water or silverware. No one seemed apologetic for the numerous mistakes that were being made and the manager who should be well equipped to handle situations like this, only made matters worse, but not remembering our order, not filling in the gaping holes with staffing and customer service. I was very disappointed with my dining experience or lack thereof.

Absolutely the worst service I never had. With at least 8 tables open still had to wait at the hostess counter 10 minutes to be seated. Once we finally did get to sit down in a sticky booth, another 15 minutes went by and not so much as an acknowledgement we were in the building! We did however get to enjoy the very over served guy at the bar shouting obscenities to his equally over served friend(I assume) at the opposite end of the bar. The waitress that I can only assume was assigned to our section did get as close as 1 booth away where she stopped, not to take orders but to play games on the little table top thing and chat with the occupants. That was the last straw. We got up, walked past 2 or 3 members of the wait staff and the hostess on the way out. We were thanked for coming and told to have a good day. When we told them we were leaving to go eat that we had never even given a drink order, they didn’t even look the least bit concerned. No apologies, no contact with a manager, nothing.

One star might be unfair since I can’t say what the meal would have been like if any of the wait staff had ever acknowledged us. A workmate and I went into this Applebee’s today and were told there would be a 15 minute wait for a table even though there were several high tops, booths, and two tops scattered throughout the restaurant and available seats at the bar. There were a few groups of four already waiting, and it seems the hostess didn’t know that she could seat us ahead of them if there were tables too small for their groups. After we were seated(two minutes early!), we waited through about fifteen minutes of being ignored and listening to some guy at the bar shout to his companions loudly enough to make everyone around us glare his way. Apparently, though, no one in management could hear him since no one did anything about it. Finally, while two waitresses played with the game tablet at the next table over and two others stood around chatting with each other, we decided to leave. On our way out, the hostess wished us a good day. Our meal next door at the Steak-n-Shake was very good with excellent service.

Worst service ever, table and wall nasty, waiters and waitresses hold food so close it touches their clothes. Just disgusting, manager wasn’t friendly nor did he apologize for the awful service. I would not recommend this Applebee’s to my worst enemy.

I walked in and the hostess said nothing to me. I was going to place a Togo order but the bartender wouldn’t even look at me. The bartender walked off and I heard her in the kitchen having a good olé time talking about personal issues. I waited 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge the fact I was trying to place a order. I finally left. This Applebee’s need some new employees who have class and professionalism. Please!

Awful. Ordered the salmon, and meatballs. The plate was sad, the way is was presented seem like someone had eaten part of it, the meatballs were terrible, the texture and flavor, felt so processed I’m sure there was no meat in it. Once we received our food took about 5 minutes to get someone to get silverware, which they had none of so they gave us plastic folks and knives. No offer to refill the drinks. I decided to eat here cause I was getting hangery, but I just left more upset paying $ 26 for an entrée and side. Only redeeming factor was the fun trivia game you can play at the table to pass time.

The service was just ok… Nothing spectacular. The waitress rushed us to order… She wasn’t that friendly. Dekalb county is on a water advisory but they are still open and they have no drinks other than bottled water!(Not their fault) had nothing to do with this rating but I have nothing good to say. No fireworks here! I’d rather not go back…

This was the worst experience I have had in 2 years. I sat at a table with four other people for 15 minutes before I eventually got up to ask if I had a waiter. There were 5 waitresses/waiters standing near the front door laughing and playing with each other. One persons then told me laughing that someone would be with me. 5 minutes later a waitress finally came and took orders. She appeared to be pleasant and disappeared for another 10 minutes before returning with drink orders. Food came within the next 15 minutes, however I received wonton tacos when I ordered potstickers. I was afraid to wait any longer so I told her to just leave them. The waitress came to the table several times to check on us but never took anything off the table. She asked once was everything ok and I told her that I was just going to start placing our dirty plates on the table across from me. She then took those plates from the other table but never cleared the other plates on our table. It was very apparent that there were very low expectations of the wait staff at this establishment. Really sad!

Came in last night after having Mexican near by. My friend and I were craving dessert. We waited for a while before anyone came to take our order. After waiting for awhile I decided to tell my friend what I wanted in case anyone came while I went to the ladies room. I ordered the Blue Ribbon Brownie and she had the Butter Pecan Blondie. My brownie wasn’t as hot as it could be. I’m a stickler for food being up to par in the temperature department. Overall we enjoyed our calorie splurge.

After giving up on franchise restaurants a while ago-I ventured out to Applebee’s in Conyers with my brother… had great drinks and great food. 4 days later, I was craving the wings I had, so I came to this location-my experience was the exact opposite. Ordered the same exact thing, except for my food to go. Drinks at the bar were great while I waited. Got home-my wings were a totally different flavor(thankfully-I don’t have food allergies) than what I ordered. Called them to let them know and«Debbie»(the person who answered the phone) totally brushed me off. Needless to say-I won’t be coming back to this location, I’ll be reaching out to Corporate and I’ll possibly write Applebee’s off for good.

From the moment we arrived there was a feeling of I don’t give… We were seated and when we asked for a towel to dry the table we were given attitude. Then we had to wait 20m before the waiter even came to greet us. He did not introduce himself at all and seemed nervous the entire time. Although he got better as time went on there was still a lot to be desired. The food was just ok, the drinks seemed off and the wait time was horrendous. You didn’t feel welcomed, there was staff giving dirty looks to the table, and not paying attention because a table dined and dashed them. All in all I will not be a patron to this location again. Again the only saving grace was the waiter seemed to calm down but still didn’t pay us too much attention we had to constantly stop him to ask for drink refills. If dining here keep the staff honest and on their toes otherwise don’t dine here.

Can I put negative 5 stars? The management at this location needs to be fired! How is it that on Cinco de mayo, a night where people will make an effort to go out, your establishment is short staffed. Empty tables were all around, but our wait to be seated was 30 minutes. What else could go wrong? Everything! After being seated for 15 minutes, we finally got water and waited another 8 minutes for straws. We placed a drink and food order as soon as we sat down. After 35 minutes we got 1 appetizer, which was chips and salsa… Were they waiting for the tomatoes to get ripe before picking them to make salsa? Our drinks finally arrive after 45 minutes and 3 of the 5 orders were incorrect. One of the correct order happened to be the saltiest and worst tasting margarita this side of the border. 1 chicken quesadilla arrives 1 hour after with chicken wanton tacos. Tacos are cold and quesadilla is as salty as the margarita. At 68 minutes on the clock, utensils are handed to us, as well as the chicken strawberry and avocado salad arrives… With no chicken and no avocado! Wait, no chicken and no avocado? Yes… There was shrimp(placed in front of someone allergic to it who also did not order it) and when we asked about the error, that’s when we were told, they were out of avocados. Shouldn’t this have been stated before the order came out, so that we had the option to change the order? At 77 minutes on the clock, the ribs arrive, and oh, by the way, we are out of fries. Would you like something else? No we don’t, we’ve been here for almost an hour and a half and now you want us to order something different to wait another hour and a half?!? Heck no!!! Sir, what happened to our 2nd chicken quesadilla? Oh, it didn’t come out yet? Let me go check. Returns after 7 minutes and said it would be out shortly. Shortly turned into an additional 6 minutes. By this time, those with food have sifted through the saltiness and eaten a bite or 2, and the last to get her meal, just asks for a take away box. The waiter with the lowly sagging pants offers is 1 brownie bite as a peace offering. What?!? Ummm, no thank you, as we would probably have to wait another 30 minutes for it, I’d just like to see a manager to let them know that we are NOT paying for any of the wrong order or cold food. Really, the only reason we stayed was because my grandmother was hungry and tired… But guess what, she couldn’t eat her salad of shrimp and strawberries anyway! Managers, I would have fired each of you on the spot! This is beyond ridiculous!

I generally love Applebee’s but my experience at this location was pitiful. The bartender was extremely rude and the atmosphere was down. The staff mostly talked with one another and ignored guests. If you have the opportunity to drive to a different Applebee’s please do and avoid this one!

Yet another bad experience here. Had enough of them to actually write a review. Went on 1-19-2014. Our first server was okay, but forgot my entrée. Walked by me multiple times and did not once notice I did not have a plate in front of me; had to ask where it was. He brought it out almost immediately … weirdly enough. The Honey Pepper Chicken & Shrimp was good as usual though. The Boneless chicken wings were decent as well. On another note, had 2 Mucho Margaritas … almost no alcohol in them. Asked the waiter to bring out the second one with a little more alcohol … it actually had less. A no-brainer that I won’t order alcoholic beverages from them any more. Went to Chili’s the night before and had one of their Normal ones with more alcohol. Here’s the kicker, a friend came by so we asked to change seats to see the game better. Got confirmation for it because we didn’t want to just go and sit anywhere like we owned the place. Sat down and the waiter serving the area asked our friend if he wanted something; he got a drink and we didn’t see our waiter, Cornell D, for the RESTOFTHENIGHT. He waited on every other table in the vicinity, but we sat there for two hours without getting a ‘how’s it going’ or ‘can I help you with something’. Pretty bad, considering I go out of my way to drink and I leave pretty good sized tips(20−30% usually, possibly more if I liked the service). I actually left a bigger tip for the drinks I had at my previous table/waiter that night than one of his tables left him for an actual 2 person meal. Great job Applebees of Lithonia, GA. This was a eye-opening experience.

Hands down the WORST service I have ever received at a restaurant. My friend and I chose to eat here last weekend. It was a Sunday night and yes, it was jam packed in there. We were seated fairly quickly, which was surprising. After being seated, we literally didn’t see anyone greet us or ask to get drinks for over 20 minutes. This is completely unacceptable and not a good start to the meal. Normally we would’ve just left to head somewhere else but my friend has a baby and it’s more trouble to pack up everything to leave. We didn’t get our water until 35 minutes after sitting down. It was just one thing after another as we sat there. We ordered our food, it of course, took forever to come out. When it arrived, it was wrong. I LOVE Applebee’s and I really love their Fiesta Lime Chicken so I know what it usually looks like. and this was not correct. I told the waitress that it was missing the mexi-ranch sauce, lime and pico de gallo. Her response was, «We are just so slammed that the kitchen staff isn’t really paying attention to making the food correctly. Right now we are just trying to get it out to people.» Well, if that isn’t one of the worst answers I have ever heard, I don’t know what is. I also informed her that I didn’t have any silverware or napkins– retrieving that took about 5 more minutes. As my friend’s baby got restless, our water glasses were completely empty and we had been done eating for about 15 minutes we waited to see the waitress again to ask for the check. She was no where to be found! Finally, I had to get up to find someone to help us. It was a horrible experience and I will definitely never come back to this location! The only redeeming things about this experience is that I was with a friend whom I hadn’t seen in a long time so having a 2.5 hour experience at Applebee’s left us with time to enjoy each other. Also the waitress was sweet… when we actually saw her(which was only about 4 times tops). Overall a horrible experience.

Average burger with very good service and interesting decorum. Even though they were busy they were attentive and accommodating. When we arrived they told us it would be a 20 minute wait and instead of eating elsewhere we bet that that was a worse case scenario. Sure enough we only waited seven or eight minutes and had good service.
