Good place for a beer and something to eat. Food is good with a lot to choose from. Good service too.

Micro brewery with great food. Oyster app was very good. Had mile high meatloaf. It was awesome. My daughter had the homemade mac n cheese. She really like it. Good atmosphere and good beer. TV’s to watch NFL playoffs made it a perfect place for us tonight.

I took my coworkers here for dinner the other day and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food and atmosphere was. Let’s start with parking and location. This restaurant is located down a small street and it is possible to go pass it if using a GPS. The sign could be a larger since I was almost on top of it before I saw it and almost drove by it. There is some parking but I see it being an issue in the summer if a lot of people are dining or meeting friends here for drinks. The inside was wide open and nice. It has a nice size bar and I was told you could go outside in the summertime. I am not a beer drinker but there was a wide selection and I did end up trying a dark beer and it was very good. Not sure what it is called. I was told they only accept«on the way» reservations and not a «day and time» reservation. The menu was decent and had a variety of choices. The fish n chips looked delicious and I was told it was. I was told there was also a day of «all you can eat» fish n chips but not sure what day that was. It might be Thursdays but you will have to ask them. I had the meatloaf and it was delicious and there was plenty there. It cost shy of $ 16 and was well worth it. I ate every bit of it because everything on the plate was delicious. I want to go back to try the root beer and ginger beer because I was told they are awesome and a must try. So… why the four stars instead of the 5 stars? Although the service was ok, it was just ok. It wasn’t horrible but I thought the waiter could have been a little more friendly and tentative. I would still come back because everyone can have an off day. If all goes well next time, I would gladly update to five stars. The key to a good restaurant is consistency. And although it was very good this time, let’s hope it stays the same or better next time. I would recommend you try this restaurant out. It’s good for groups and children as well. Although busy, I found it to be family friendly. I came with a group on a Tuesday evening.

I had a Chocolate Avenue Stout to drink. It’s a perfect blend of dry stout enhanced with sweet chocolate. The abundance of roasted barley and chocolate malt provides a deep dark color and rich robust flavor. The use of subtle hopping allows the chocolate and espresso flavored to shine. Defiantly bring some of this back home. Oh and almost forgot I also had the burger. It was great! Great friendly service.

This is one of the breweries we stopped at while in Richmond area one night. It was one of the good ones. I can’t remeber the others, except Midnight Brewing Co. which was in an industrial area but awesome!

One of my favorite spots in Lititz. It is cozy but still wide open. Friendly staff with big smiles and great suggestions. It’s a great place to wind down after a rough day.

Enjoyed a great meal. The chili was amazing. Service was excellent and the crafted cola was well made. I will be enjoying another meal there when I visit Lititz again.

Great all around! The food, the service, the ambiance. Except for the large tv’s people seem to love to watch while eating.(sports)

Great service & good beer! I had the fish tacos which had an amazing habanero sauce with them; however, the tacos themselves were sub par. We ordered the sausage and sauer kraut fritters as an appetizer and they had a very good batter but very little taste beyond that. Great atmosphere and service but the food was disappointing.

Our go to spot in Lititz. Good beers, good food, good service, good people. You really can’t go wrong here. They have a huge beer list and allow you to sample before you order a full draft. Their food is on the pub grub side, but hey, isn’t that what you came here for? Loved the Iceberg Lettuce wedge, and my wife throughly enjoyed(but couldn’t finish) her Black Bean Burger w everything under the sun on it. Cass was a patient and solicitous server putting up w our samples and equivocations nicely. Thank you

My wife and I have tried at least a dozen things on the menu and special board — we have yet to find anything we haven’t loved. Gumbo is delicious, mac & cheese is great, and the burgers are delicious(and cooked as requested!). Wife’s new favorite is the ham and cheese on the pretzel roll. Just started the Octoberfest menu — sausage and sauerkraut balls were really good and the special cream soda was awesome. If you can sit in Aly’s section, she is a very attentive server and we ask for her every time we go in.

One of our favorite spots in Lititz! We’ve been here many times for dinner. Both entrées and sandwiches are yummy and diverse. Appetizers are also good, with plenty to share. A really good spot for groups(call ahead :), as the menu has a solid selection of pub fare. Beers rotate and TVs are great for catching a football game on a Sunday night. Hmmm… all this positivity, but why four stars, not five? This place is good and reliable, but not amazing. This is a solid micro brew pub with a busy, loud atmosphere. We enjoy our visits and will be back! Cheers!

Used to love this place until they changed. What changed? Their service is soooo slow! Even when it is not busy! The servers are nice but just really slow on everything. We waited an hour for our food and it wasn’t even that great as I remembered. They changed the recipe on their chips and it was bland and blah. Also the they charge for every little thing!!! We wont be coming back… Sadly.

Just went for a drink. Heard and red the food was not great… and it does not look great either. Still building is really nice and inside too is quite well done. I like their beers anyway so that was enjoyable. There is a terrace deck that we will try next time. Place was quite empty on this Sunday afternoon.

All I can say is not bad not great. Wont go out of my way to back but would go if meeting friends. Standard bar food with decent service. Then again we were one of only 4 tables. You can do beter.

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend last night, and it was decent. The wait was too long though just to get a table, and they did not seem to do much turn over when it was ultra busy. We eventually got seated, and our waitress was nice. The tap list was decent with a good selection of their in house beers. I got the Hog Wild sandwich and the root beer BBQ sauce was sweet, but delicious. I would like to go back for the food and drink, but hope I don’t have to wait forever for a table.

I’ve previously been to the Harrisburg location and knew what to expect regarding the food. Although I was shocked to find this restaurant had a different feel and some rustic charm. I really enjoyed the interior, even more so than the Harrisburg location. However, I called several times throughout the day on Friday, to make a 6:30 reservation but was never able to reach anyone. We arrived around 6 and were told we’d have a 45 minute-1 hour wait. That was to be expected on a Friday night and wasn’t a big deal. After waiting our hour I went to check on the status of our table. The hostess informed me we still had 5 tables ahead of us. She also let me know that call-ins are seated ahead of walk-ins. I was not a happy customer especially after attempting to call 4 times throughout the day. It ended up being almost an hour and 30 min wait and that did not make for happy patrons. Advice: In the future try answering your phone during the afternoon to take these special«Call Ahead Reservations» or possibly just try to give more accurate wait times. Anyway, after waiting and borderline starving we ordered an outrageous amount of food. Just to start we had the Cheddar Ale Soup, Artie’s Spin Dip, Brewschetta, and the Coal Cracker Pierogies. Did I mention we were starving? The Brewschetta was amazing and by far the best appetizer we ordered. For my main course I ordered the Fire Jumper Burger. Had a better jalapeño burger at the Bull’s Head Pub just the night before. The food is average with above average prices. But, I knew that from the previous visit at the other location. I did enjoy the Rutty Buck Pumpkin Ale. I would have been happy to give this place 3 – 4 stars even with the ridiculous wait fiasco. But after entering it was hard to miss the 4 – 5 vacant tables. It doesn’t make sense why there are so many empty tables and a lobby full of people waiting over an hour just to be seated. Great drinks. Average Food. Been there done that(one too many times).

Everyone I know in the area has been raving about this recent addition to the Lititz area. So, while I was home for the holiday, my parents took me here for an early lunch on a Monday afternoon(Labor Day). The restaurant has a large seating capacity with tables both inside and a few tables on a deck outback. The interior is well decorated, unlike the tacky chain/sports bars we’re accustomed to in Lancaster County. The menu is quite large but not too large that you can’t make up your mind. They have a good selection of appetizers including the usual Buffalo wings, nachos, and homemade chips. But they also have a few standouts that you don’t usually see in the area such as panko encrusted brie, poutine, pierogies, and bruschetta. They have a large selection of beer as well and our waiter was very helpful when asked for recommendations. I ended up ordering the ‘thru hiker’ medium rare(½ pound burger topped with fresh avocado, brie, spinach, tomato and severed with honey ginger mayo) and opted for the homemade chips instead of the fries. I ordered the thru hiker because it seemed a little lighter than most of their other burgers which are topped with different meats. Overall, it was an excellent choice and I was very satisfied. The burger was delicious and cooked almost perfectly; though, some of the avocado was a little brown. The only complaint I had was that our server(despite how empty it was) wasn’t around to check on us till the end of our meal. I needed more water and wanted to ask for more ginger mayo! The ginger mayo is amazing and was a great dip for the homemade chips! There are a lot of other items on the menu I want to try, so I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town! I believe the burger was around $ 12, which being from NYC, didn’t faze me. It was a good portion and good quality for the cost.

The last time I was here I didn’t have a smartphone or Unilocal(how did I manage to survive during those dark ages?) but this place is just as good as I remember from a few years back and I’m happy to see that they’ve now expanded to 7 locations. The beers — always fresh and scrumptious. Overall my favorite from all the different places I tried on this last adventure. The food — the best of all the brew pubs we tried. The staff — welcoming and down to earth. We started and ended our PA vacation at two different locations and so happy we did.(I even earned my «Barfly» badge on Unilocal with my second check-in… that’s a good thing. Right?!) Highly recommended.

The best thing about this place is the building itself. It’s huge, wooden and very rustic; surrounded by trees. Inside on a Sat early eve 5 of us grabbed a seat at the bar, as tables(wooden high tops that take up much of the space) were full and we were just going to sample some beers and a snack or two. Our flight of 8 beers was good, not great. Could have done w/o the spiel from the bartender explaining the beers. Nothing really stood out, a lot had a similar taste which I find in chain microbreweries. They were pleasant but nothing I would really seek out on a regular basis. The nibbles we tried were good; Garlic Asiago fries were nice. Topped w. asiago, parm and an herb garlic sauce, the potatoes them selves were a bit bland and not crispy at all. The cheese, sauce and basil aoili for dipping did make them tasty though. The pretzel logs were very good; arriving hot and served w/cheddar ale and honey mustard dip. They were really nice when dipped in the pool of garlic– cheese sauce that remained in the bottom of our bowl of fries. Not really worth $ 7.50& $ 9.00 for the fires and pretzels. The place is kid-friendly. It was kind of funny seeing all those kids in a microbrewery. They do have a range of sodas made in house on tap.
